Good service, equipment well maintained, wish all my business transactions went as smoothly. Shout out to the employee who helped me when the Uhaul app was misbehaving.

Durlia DEnsure vehicle is not completely parked in a 4 inch puddle of mud. Ensure equipment ordered is with the truck. Give an option to refund extra gas put in vehicle if you're going to be charged for putting on extra mileage
Hayden HThe truck was parked in a massive puddle of at least 4 inches. The truck could only be accessed from the passenger door. In front of the truck taking up almost the entire parking lot was an enormous collection of water that was 6+ inches in some places. The entire set up was dangerous that could likely make damaging the vehicle much easier. The app was not helpful for self-checkout. It was stalling and exited out of my order several times even though my internet connection was fine. I had to call customer service twice to resolve issues. I selected the self refuel option - the app and email kept saying to refer to the contract for the initial fuel level. The contract was nowhere to be found in my app or email. After refueling to the appropriate level, I was still charged as if I hadn't refueled. After customer service fixed this, I was still charged an additional fuel fee even though the gauge was equal to if not higher than when I picked up the truck. I requested an appliance dolly and a furniture dolly and got neither. Apparently these are requests that are subject to availability and U-Haul does not communicate tho availability before your rental. Overall, the location was dangerous due to the water collections/puddles. The app was all but useless. The checkout system was delicate and confusing. Thankfully the customer service reps were knowledgeable and helpful to get this rating from 1 to 2 stars.

Joseph BThe truck bed was covered in sand and leftover toys and trash from the last user. The hand truck was not secured in the truck from the previous user. The manager at the location for drop off was not present during drop off.

Jean SI've used the UHaul service many times in the past for trucks and moving help. I've always had a great experience until this time. First the location changed from the location I booked to this one with no notification. When I called they said they had emailed, texted and called but I had no emails, texts or calls on my accounts other than the one to request license verification that morning. I arrived at the booking location and then found out the location had changed tried to pick up the truck and the GPS on the app told me i was 5 miles from the correct site. I called and was told I needed to go to the other site and there was nothing they could do. I had been dropped off and now was stranded they were very helpful by telling me I could always take an Uber to the other location. (thanks for the obvious and unhelpful statement btw). I get to the other site and i start checking out the truck and it smells like dead fish in the main cabin. Like bad dead fish. the cargo area smelled slightly. I reported this on the check in on the app as well. I pull away and I hear slamming in the back and the appliance dolly was loose in the cargo due to a broken latch. I didn't see this while doing the check out but now had to deal with it. I finally get all my move done. It cost me an extra hour of labor as I was an hour late getting to the pickup site. My favorite part is when I checked back in I go through the end process and get the questions "is the truck clean enough for the next family?" and I say "No it smells like dead fish still". At checkout they applied a cleaning fee to the end price which i'm now challenging. I was supposed to get a call today from Storage King but I haven't heard anything yet and it's 3pm. I think I need to find a new truck service. I will update if any of this gets resolved.

Melissa GThe folks at Storage King USA at 820 South Reilly Rd in Fayetteville, NC rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff (Chrissi and Shannon) were superb. I had to help move my son's furniture from ECU to my office and house as he graduates next week and gets commissioned as a new 2LT and called to active duty early. So we had to jump thru hoops while he is taking exams to move this stuff. I can't tell you how easy Chrissy and Shannon made this experience. And today (after being totally exhausted from loading and unloading furniture etc) we returned the truck. Shannon was there and made the return superb. This is the kinda service that just breaks all barriers. It's the Platinum Service bar none. And the truck got super gas mileage (empty) heading to ECU, once loaded up, not so much lol, but ran like a champ. Also, get the trucks with the ramps. They are essential and a life saver and saves your back too. I will need to rent again and also get a storage unit too and I am gonna rent from them. Again, superb and rock star service. MELISSA IThe location was fine. The Uhaul mobile app was regrettably not working. The app caused additional issues, but the personnel at the rental location. It was raining heavy and the parking lot was flooded. Be careful if it's raining on your rental day.

The next time I have to utilize U-Haul for a move, I hope the staff is as helpful as they were.

Genaro PDid the 24/7 pick up because location was closed. It was Hard to obtain the key to get the vehicle. A lot of repetitive and unnecessary steps. A lot of hidden fees were added on after returning vehicle
