Waited over 45 minutes before property manager would "be back in 10 minutes." Manager was noncommunicative and when I asked a question was told to review the contract that had been emailed to me. Was handed the keys and had to guess which truck was mine. When I brought the truck back and returned the keys was told I had to go back to the truck and take a picture of the mileage and fuel gauge. Worst service ever!
Stacy ThomasI rented a 10-foot truck for one day. I used it for 6 hours and put 28 miles on it. I put 5,4 gallons of gas in it, which was $20. I returned the truck with more gas than it had when I picked it up. No one was at Storage King in New Caney at 3:30 when I returned it. So, I left the key in the drop box. This morning I had a charge of $50 for fuel. I contacted the area manager and he said he would look into it. I live 1,5 miles from there, so I went by to ask for the printed receipt. The lady who works there told me she was a U-Haul rep. She told me she could not give me a receipt. I told her I had put gas in the truck. She said it was returned with one half of a tank. I told her it had seven eights of a tank. She said no! It has half! I asked if we could go verify the amount as the truck was sitting directly in front of the door. She said No! I will not do that, and it was half of a tank. I asked her who checked in the truck. She said she did, and she had a picture of the gauge. She showed me the picture and the gauge was at seven eights. I pointed that out to her, and she said to contact U-Haul. I asked her to text me the pic. She said no and that I should leave so she could take care of her customer that was there. I said I am your customer that is here now. I called the area manger again and got voice mail. He immediately took care of the problem and refunded my card for the $50. I didn't appreciate the lady telling me three times that I was wrong, then to find out she just input it wrong. Its ok to make a mistake, but I wished I had not rented a storage unit there. I don't feel comfortable dealing with someone that got angry with me and told me I was wrong and to leave, when I knew I did the right and honest thing, and SHE DID NOT. The manager did the right thing though and he is an honest person. I still don't understand why she could not go look at the dashboard of the truck. She was very hateful about that. I told her what I can do is not do business with her anymore and she said that would be good.

Leroy WeaverBusiness hours on the Uhaul app were incorrect. Also hours advertised on the business were not accurate. Place closes whenever they want. Hours stated they were open until 6pm arrived at 4pm to collect my rentals and they decided to close early and not contact me about my scheduled reservation.
FREDDIE TRUJILLOI was charged $5 for a utility dolly I did not request and did not receive with the truck.
