I was charged extra mileage and feel that this was inappropriate based on guidance from the store staff as well as a poor business practice. The inappropriate guidance was to leave the rental location without the car hauler, load the truck, and return to get the car hauler later. This added miles that were not accounted for in my allowance. The poor business practice is basing the mileage allowance on the distance to the unload destination and not including travel to the drop-off location, which was several miles away. These two unfortunate facts lead to an unexpected cost of $20.
MATTHEW Sstore was closed on Saturday when it said it was open till 1 pm on the door . I put gas into it before I dropped off my truck and trailer at 12:05pm keys in box . 1:35 pm y'all took $34,59 out of my card for no reason. guess I'll call them Monday
Bradley sI rented a truck online from U-Haul and was told to pick it up from this location. When I arrived the truck was very dirty. I put the keys inside the ignition to get mileage and the key would not come out of the ignition. I was supposed to have an appliance dolly in the back of my truck, but nothing was there . Due to the issue of the key being stuck in the ignition I went to the office on site. There's never anybody there so I had to call the U-Haul customer service line for them to switch my vehicle. And it didn't update vehicle information inside the app. Very disappointed with this one.

HOWARD DI ordered a dolly but wasn't in truck so I went back during the posted hour to pick it up and location was closed so I returned truck. With out dolly I could complete my move.
Denise RTrain the staff about professionalism and customer service. When I questioned staff on the phone about why they charged me for gas after I put gas in the tank. He said to call the 1-800 number and hung up on me and then would not answer the phone when I called back.

David PBe present at your location during posted business hours. I did not care for the online check-in, as I prefer to do business with an actual human being who can, for example, answer questions I might have.

DWAYNE STurned truck in after hours and dropped key. Truck was due back on Sunday. Found out after they charged me for an additional day that this location wasn't open on Sunday. Why did you send me to drop a truck due on Sunday to a location not open on Sunday?????????? GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO I HAVE TO DO YOUR JOB????? I paid for service, I didn't get paid to help myself (especially since I don't know anything about your remote locations!!!!!! Good thing you have competition that I can go to next time!!!

Ernest MBe open the hours that are on the sign. Worker said if he wasn't busy he will close early sometimes. Have functional equipment. The printer wasn't working to print out the receipt.

KENNETH CTruck rode incredibly rough. One little bump and it felt like the whole truck was going to fall apart. Suspension needs a lot of work hard to drive that way also
Jonathan RMop the floors! My mattresses had a lingering smell of vomit after being brought into the house after being in the truck. We sprayed Odorban as soon as we opened the truck. It was midday and sunny so that odor was ROBUST in the afternoon.
Roger CThere wasn't a person at the location-only available by phone and watched through a mounted camera. The person on the phone gave vague directions as to where to place the trailer (no directional signage anywhere), raised his voice when he disagreed with where we had placed the trailer, and cursed at my brother when asked why the placement of the trailer had to be moved. While discussing the placement of the trailer, the gentleman on the phone oddly started complaining about Uhaul customers using this location to drop off their Uhaul rentals. "I don't know why they keep sending these people to me." He ultimately hung up without warning. I would suggest having a person at the location for drop offs in order to understand where the rentals should be placed. Much of his aggressiveness was due to his inability to clearly express where he wanted the rentals to be placed.

daniel mThe heater was horrible in it but the worst was when it shut off on me , I had pulled up to my destination and was pulling toward the curve and it literally shut completely off

Amy BDidn't like going online with my information. I had moving truck 9am to 3pm and Uhaul was only open til 1pm. So not going on line cost me an extra $20 for someone to do the paperwork. Kind of crooked.

Christina GI was charged for fuel, I should not have been because I put fuel in prior to turning in, I took a photo of the gauge when I picked it up. I was charged for extra mileage when I specifically said where my destination was going to be. Very dissatisfied with this extra amount tacked on. I have all receipts for fuel as well.

The management greeted us with friendly conversation. He had us in and out in no time. His time was greatly appreciated. Will highly recommend this dealer! Great experience. Thank You to all!

David CThe attendant didn't know what he was doing. I was very disappointed, waiting much too long. I paid and thought all was well, as my son was to pick up the truck. He was kept waiting for almost two hours on an already paid for truck. We didn't take the promised trailer, were then hit for more charges for insurance., and i had already paid with a credit card. He wanted me to get back out in rhe snow to pay for insurance. I was given the runaround from the getgo. First was told Storage plus was not open on Saturday, i made arrangements with another uhaul, and then was informed that the storage plus had the sale, and would be open until 1:pm. Then we were told the truck myst be picked up by 11:30. NO I'm not happy with uhaul in Ohio.
Anna RI got double charged, but it appears they reversed the charge. I'll guess I know when the extra drops from my bank account. This happened once before and I had to get my bank involved.
