Uhaul consistently has great equipment and employees. The paperwork part of it is slow and cumbersome. The computers are slow often and/or go down. Get a frequent renter program or something to speed up check in/check out. I get the need for protecting the equipment, but crap! Speed up the process al least for us known renters and repeat customer. Anyways Uhaul has some fine employees and good equipment, fix the process dammit

At Storage Sense in Sebastian, Fl., they were very helpful also, Ron (I think) he took me out to check the cargo trailer before I rented, so I would know what kind of tie downs to use for the trip.

Charged an extra day for not returning trailer before 9:30am. Was there at 9am, but they won't accept returns until 10am. If you drop off before 10am, they charge you a fee. They are going to get extra money from you one way or another. Other than that, they seem friendly.

We arrived to the location by instruction of uhaul which was 30 minutes outside our desired location. Upon arrival the door to the dealer was locked yet the open sign was illuminated. No trace of an employee working for 30 minutes. The African American employee working finally showed up and told me I would not be allowed to drop off at this time. This contradicted what I was told by uhaul and the district manager, Jeremy. The manager of this drop off location, Melinda, created her own hours, rules, and charges that were not aligned with uhaul. Per the instructions of Jeremy we dropped off at this location according to uhaul policy despite being threatened with a $100 fine. This dealer was unprofessional and a joke. I have had a very horrible experience with this drop off location and process. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I found the app check in and check out extremely annoying and could be more user friendly. It needs to be far quicker, especially when in the rain. Also I used the app to check in and collect so therefore could not see the people in the office to check it back in. I found this extremely annoying. It also did not give us any information to turn the keys back in. We were lucky enough to have a staff member there who we told where we had put them when we were leaving. I also thought the office people could have been more helpful. Although I said the truck was clean and for the most part it was, there was still sand and dirt on the floor on the drivers side when we picked it up. We left it better than we collected it. Would I use your app again to collect and return? A definite NO.

Another you uhaul another great experience. Over last 3 weeks have been to 7 different U Hall facilities everyone has been helpful courteous and impressed me. I thank uhaul and their employees for making our uses of a truck fantastic.

I was accused by the drop off location in Stuart for damage to the truck that was obviously previously done because of the oxidation on upper broken aluminum corner piece. I'm ok as long as there's no charges, however, Fred was confrontational with his accusations that I caused it because it was not listed before. Obviously the pick up location failed to note this and I'm ok with I U hual as long as no additional charges come at me over something O did not do. I took pictures of the damage To prove the damage is not fresh.

Rented a vehicle one way and was charged appx. $165 when I picked up the vehiicle and charged appx $100 again when I dropped off vehicle the very next day. Trip route was not changed from original route nd was charged for an extra day AND mileage. WILL NEVER RENT FROM U HAUL AGAIN AND WILL TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES. VERY DISSATISFIED.

We made reservation several weeks in advance to pick up on Sunday August 16, 2020. The day before our pickup the scheduler switched our pickup location to a location that was closed on Sunday. We were surprised to arrive to pickup to be told by Mikes Wrecker Service that he would not help us. We called Uhaul and was then sent to a another Uhaul pickup location 15 miles away in Sebastian. Got to that location and they were also closed on Sunday. But this time the lady was nice and she went ahead and rented the truck and auto transport to us. Uhaul needs to update their records for what days their facilities are open. It was very stressful going to two different facilities and finding out they were closed on weekends but we were scheduled to pick up there anyway. Update your system Uhaul.

I would like to be contacted so I can discuss in detail. 860 919 2565 The location on 90th Ave in Vero should be closed immediately. I was threatened and screamed at. They kept saying we are not uhaul blame uhaul.

Ordered phone check In they changed to in person, made husband come in many hours before wanted to park truck in designated field outside gate to pick up later as they'd not be there and he was stuck and needed pulled out from where THEY TOLD HIM TO PARK, then refused to help get out! How ridiculous! He was very late for when and lost many needed hours of use! Unacceptable!'

I was charged for the furniture pads & dolly although I did not use them at all. I was told that they were “attached to the contract” so that it could not be updated. That was an extra $10 that I didn't have to spend, so that's rather disappointing.

Better communication with the U-Haul dealer. I picked up my Uhaul from the app. Then was told that my check in wasn't complete later that day after I got the keys. So while moving I had a phone call asking for me to complete the last steps of the check out process. I called customer service because it wouldn't let me finish these steps they were asking to be completed. They had to override the system and get it all squared away. I rented my Uhaul for 2 days however I didn't need it for two days so I went to return it early after I cleaned it and filled it back up with gas. I get to the Uhaul dealer and the gate was opened so I check in and parked the Uhaul where it was needing to go. The owner of the Uhaul dealer came out to me explaining that if I drop it off passed 5:00pm it's $100.00 for dropping it off early. I explained to the owner I don't mind being charged for two days but I have no place to store this Uhaul. The only break I got was she understood my frustration and explained she will let the owner know not to charge me the $100.00. I thank her and explained that I don't use Uhaul much so I had no idea. Moving forward I will probably not use Uhaul again as it made my move very stressful. If the owner of this Uhaul dealer decides to charge me an additional $100.00 as well then I will most definitely never use Uhaul again. I think when moving we should be able to drop off 24/7 without being fined for dropping it off early. I hope someone can see my frustration and I want Uhaul to know what Uhaul dealers are doing. Rude and combative woman initially refused to take the drop off even though I had a reservation, tried to deny I ever had one until I pulled it up on my phone, acted like she was moving mountains by letting me park it in the back of the lot where I had no help whatsoever unhooking the trailer, Reading other reviews shows this woman has exhibited behavior like this before.

They do not accept the online check-in. The uhaul items are behind a locked gate, so they have to be there to check you in. This is not a 24 hour location. Otherwise, easy to work with.
