This location had no one to accept the returned vehicle so the U-Haul app had to be used. U-Haul should let their customers know when a location will require the use of the app since a cellphone with internet access is required. It should not be assumed that everyone has this ability. U-Haul should also acknowledge that the truck has been properly returned via email or text.

No one was at the dropoff location. My wife was able to get ahold of a Patrick and he said just to put everything in the drop off box. When asked about the early return time, twenty-four hours, his response was that would be addressed later.n I can't really answer the questions.

Louis SI set up the pick up time for my U-Haul at 9 am. When I showed up, the website told me I had to wait till Storage Sense opened at 9:30. When I returned at 9:30, the location still wasn't open for business. I waited ten minutes, then called U-Haul. I was told that U-Haul didn't usually start operating until an hour after the business had opened for the day (10:30). I was transferred to a different operator. By this time it's almost 9:50, and the location still hasn't opened. While on the phone with a representative, the store manager finally showed up, twenty minutes late. By that time, I had lost an hour. On moving day, an hour is an eternity. This entire situation was unacceptable. The store manager was helpful and courteous when he finally worked with me. He told me he was not informed of my 24/7 pick up. I hear this type of situation is common with U-Haul. None of this is surprising. I've just come to expect poor service from your company.

Lewis CI was supposed to get the vehicle at 10 am. I had to wait twenty minutes until the vehicle was unloaded by the previous renter. I ordered moving pads on line but the facility did not have any pads. I was told I could go to another facility to rent pads.
Doug NI reserved a month ahead and was not given the equipment I rented. The location I was sent to gave me the items but they were broken. Also, my reservations was changed 3 times for the pick up location.

MICHEALINA GThe on line rental is horrible, it would not let me complete the process and the same thing happened when I tried to return it. The lady that was working was amazing she used her computer to do both processes.
Jodi MWhen we arrived for pickup, the truck door was unlocked and the keys was sitting on the seats, which meant that if anyone would have noticed that besides us the truck could have been stolen. This was the first time using the mobile app and wasn't sure how to go about it when returning the truck we were used to dropping the key off in the Dropbox. When we had an issue trying to get the truck unlocked with the passcode we had to call another office so they sent someone over to help us to get it and that gentleman told us after we were done using the truck all we had to do was bring it back and drop the keys off in the Dropbox not knowing that we had to use the mobile app. After dropping it off we received a receipt stating because we did not drop off using mobile app we got charged a $20 fee which I feel that is unfair because the gentleman advised us when we were done using the truck to just drop the key off he did not mention the fact of using the mobile app. I feel as though that fee should be waived especially with this pandemic going on. Also I believe it isn't fair to be charged a $20 fee if we don't use a mobile app because what happens if a person does not have a phone. for example some elderly do not have a mobile app or do not know how to use it. I feel that there should be some changes in the contract using the Uhaul. I understand that you have to cover your business but I also feel that some things should be rethought considering some things

Leonardo PThis location is clean and has great people....however you can NEVER GET a call to them, have tried over 32 times and can never get to them. Your corp. 800 number is horrible, waited over 18 minutes to get connected...terrible for a large company such as Uhaul. Very disappointed!!

Rubi DI tried a few times to schedule this online without success, or ability to make contact with an actual human. After cancelling my online order several times (again, didn't work very well), I scheduled easily with the office staff. I would have appreciated knowing in advance what the online checkin process would involve, as well as the fact that there wasn't parking for my own car when I arrived alone to pick it up.
