The best part was that I was in and out with the truck in 15 minutes. The truck was clean and well-maintained. We moved our stuff, refilled the gas and returned the truck without any delay. It was well worth the money.

Maurice HARRISWe dropped our truck off a day early and the woman inside just told us to drop our key and that was it, didn't even check the truck or that we returned our rented dolly (which we did, and brought inside because the back of the truck isn't locked when you leave it).
Blaine RoseYour diy system and app in general are garbage. It's an absolute pain in the ass trying to use an app that is so bad. I ended up having to cancel my reservation and go to an in store pickup. The level of trash your software reaches really can't be understated.

Bernard CarterThe U-haul application hung up on me during the before hour pickup process and I had to call support to get help. This delayed by pickup by at least 30 minutes. Otherwise it nice to have a convenient location near the destination and the truck worked well and was appropriate for our move.

Robert ColanninoI had reserved 24 blankets. Upon arrival to get the equipment, I am told that they gave another customer 12 of my blankets instead of telling that customer they were already reserved. The links sent to me via text to confirm equipment pickup and drop-off did not work...got webpage not available error messages. The BIG issue...the AC did NOT work in the truck and it was triple digit heat, even before the heat index. This wasn't a 10 mile move down the street; this was 400+ miles with no AC. When I called, there was no concern at all for us, the customer who could have heat stroke while driving, just "okay, we'll fix it when it returns". Oh, and too make it worse, it was blowing hot air by the driver's feet and actually left red marks on his ankles because it was so hot. Seemed to have transmission issues too, struggling getting into gear. This thing had over 137k miles on it and needs to go to the scrap yard! Take your business elsewhere where they care about customer safety and properly check the equipment before putting you on the road.

Kevin SteinwandHonestly inform the customer of the availability or otherwise of equipment requested. Do not inform the customer of the non-availability of the equipment when the customer physically reports for pickup especially when time is of the essence.
Carlos FernedezMake sure your customers are informed about extending their rental time that they will be charged another full day. I was not informed and was charged an additional 24 hours for 3,5 hours last drop off time. There should be some sort of late fee or maybe a half day rental. It's not right to charge people an additional day if they're a couple hours late on the drop off date.

richard brightI reserved 96 blankets online, but the location only had 30 blankets available. You would think if you're allowed to reserve a particular number of items online, they would be available for pick up at the location on the day required. Otherwise, don't allow reservation for items that may not be available.

WILLIAM HUNTZINGERI had scheduled a pickup at a different location but there were no one there at my scheduled pickup time. I was rerouted to the location on Old Railroad Bed Rd. The facility was a few miles farther away but it was open. I was given a call about the first location and an excuse why no one was there. I was also only given $25 on the equipment guarantee when the guarantee clearly stated that it was $50. I was unclear why I was only offered $25 but felt rushed in our conversation. I have used Uhaul over the years since I joined the military. Thank you for taking the time to hear my feedback.

Landry BodieThey had no place for me to put the trailer and I had to back the trailer into a very tight space. It took 30 minutes then they expected me to take the 6 x 12 trailer off of the hedge and carry and push it myself 25 feet. it was at a terrible angle and it was uphill. I've had six back surgeries, and they should not run a business if they cannot have or do not have the tools and staff to move this. The fat lady gave me attitude when I said, I have six back surgeries and can't do it .

Psalm BRYSONWhen I picked up the U-Haul, it was dirty, and it smelled like poop… The smell did not go away during the rental, and when I checked the rental back in, I was charged to cleaning fee when clearly, the U-Haul was a clean to begin with. I am very dissatisfied.

Gary StarkI actually requested for a pickup at 647 Nance Rd, Madison, Al which I could have walked to. That was disappointing but I understand you couldn't guarantee that piece of equipment at that location. Other than that everything was great.

Michael ClemMake sure the windshield is clean inside and out. It started storming while I was driving and could not see because of a film over the windshield I had to stop at a gas station and clean it my self.
NATHAN TENPENNYGreat location and staff. the only thing I struggled with was trying to pay online. Two issues: 1) finding where to pay online is not obvious on the web site, 2) My account never worked and was told I had to contact the U-Haul technical folks.

Troy WessonLocation was fine, what was not fine or upset me is that without my permission or consent, the pickup location was moved from Hazel Green to Madison, which was much further then I wanted. I never received an email only a text which I thought must be a mistake. In my eyes that was a breach of our agreement which I did not agree to.
Dragan VukovicMy furniture was stored there for 2 years, and when I moved out my furniture looked like it did the day I moved it in, The climate controlled units are excellent. My furniture was not dry rotten, there were no spider webs on anything, I was pleased with having my furniture stored there. I would definitely recommend and use there facility again.
