I couldn't get in with the online check in after hours because it didn't provide a gate code. The 1 parking spot outside the gate was already taken by another uhual drop off. I only got in because a customer of the storage facility happened to come at 10pm at night to access the facility.Ian G.

The charges were not clear. I paid for the gas option, but then had to put gas in the truck before I could get to my destination and then I had to put gas back in the truck upon my return. How did paying for the gas option help any? I had the truck for 4hrs and had a total expense of about $200 from a $40 advertised fee. This includes two trips to the gas station plus the time to get gas. If there was another rental option I would NOT use U-Haul again.John B.

The mobile pick up did not work well at this location. They did not have the blankets I ordered, so I had to get them from the cool springs location. Drop off was very difficult. There was no parking outside of the gate, and no way to get an access code for the gate. I ended up parking on one side of the entrance to the facility. The trailer floor was dirty with a grease/oil substance. It got all over my personal items I transported. Not cool. This is the 2nd bad experience with U haul in the last 60 days. The last trailer had a flat on the interstate and I had to wait nearly 5 hours for the proper repair to be done. The first company brought the wrong size tire and the second company was told the wrong size, again. Thank goodness he had enough experience and recognized from the photo the rim was a 15â€, not 14â€. Anyway, the delay was from 9:30p to 2am, causing me the additional cost of a hotel room and about $25 dollars in gas idiling on the interstate for 4,5 hours. UHaul never offered any compensation, either. I've spent more than $2 000 in moving equipment rental from UHaul since May.Thomas S.

Beware! There is a sticker (?) in the truck that says you must fold the moving blankets when you return them. Otherwise you get charged an extra $25 for them to fold the blankets, even though they have to re-prepare them for the next customer. We left a fully clean truck, but we did not fold the blankets as I assumed they would have to sanitize and refold them, especially in COVID times. This is a hidden cost that I believe the customer service agent should warn you of before you get the keys. It's just honest service that way, and I did not get much sympathy when asked about this cost.Nancy H.

The 15 foot truck only had 23000 miles and drove fine.. However the check engine light was on the entire trip of 800 miles. When checking with this dealer, I was told they couldn't do anything about it. So I went online and using the chat feature, was told not to worry about it. Although everything was fine, it still was worrisome. Someone with Uhaul should have checked it before renting it.James H.

We needed a locksmith, due to the u-haul provided movers having packed our key. It took 11 and a half hours and many calls for the locksmith to arrive. U-haul did nothing for us to help us, beyond calling the locksmith over and over. This DESTROYED our move and caused a great deal of trauma for our entire situation. This was hell, and I will NEVER use uhaul again. Get fucked, idiots.Robert F.

When I made the online reservation I selected the 19,95 truck- but my receipt shows that the baseline price was 29- so not only was my over all cost WAY higher than expected, it started off being that way, which I don't appreciate. I selected the insurance, so I knew there would be an up charge there, I didn't top off the gas, so I knew I'd be paying more there as well, I just didn't appreciate how I was charged incorrectly for the very baseline thing. The whole situation of renting the truck was highly stressful because the seat didn't adjust. If I were 6 foot tall it probably would have been fine. But I'm not. And I had to sit on the edge of the seat like a child the whole trip. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but I was exhausted by the end of it. I did not clean up the trash in the cab that was ALREADY in there. I intended to, but I never came across a trash receptacle in all of my stops. So the trash remained. It's funny- I actually used some of the trash (giant Gatorade) bottle like a phone book so I could reach the gas. I guess I should be thankful for the debris.Jennifer C.

Picked up it was closed.. was supposed to check in by phone, barely to no Internet access. Had no idea what I would do, since I drove 78 miles to location. A man ended up helping me , not sure if he was an employee but he said it was closed. The truck had a smell, cup holder and floors were dirty.. not a good experience! I'm rating this because the process was stressful. Returning the van primarily as there wasn't a code to get through the locked gate and no room to park the van, customer service line was a 50 min wait.
