It was tricky finding the box to drop of the key. Maybe there could be a picture with the location of the drop off box.

i went there and could not pick up my vehicle. I talked to the staff and he said that my rental is only in town even though mine was a one way rental. They canceled my reservation and arranged a new vehicle. Charged twice, didn't get a refund for the canceled one. Terrible. So expensive. Hidden fees.. MAKE IT A FLAT DAILY RATE!!!

I read so many bad reviews on Uhaul places around the Jersey City area. So I just picked one. I went in, without a reservation, and was out in under 15 minutes with a truck and a dolly.

I took the time to photo my license, fill out forms, etc. online before arriving at the location but had to do it all over again once I got there. Big waste of time. Also, the cargo vans are obscenely overpriced.

The representative didn't mention the 20$ extra charge for returning the vehicle after-hours when he was explaning how it works and where to drop the keys. I can't help but feel like the information was intentionally left out to get an extra 20$. Not happy with my experience at all.

We only traveled 8 miles and ended up having to purchase 6 gallons of gas due to the person who had the truck before us. That was disappointing, otherwise the experience was fine.

I was very disappointed when the van arrived to my home, dirty on the inside from prior use. I had to sweep the van before loading it. The location is very convenient and the driver told me the Sales Associate was very nice.. I am suggesting a U-Haul sign be placed at the entrance of the business.

I was helped by Walt (phone number: +1 (862) 777-0485) via Uhaul customer service. He had called me in the morning to let me know that they had to change my pick up location because the previous driver was unable to return the truck on time. I let him know that that location was far from public transportation for me and he was able to get a truck to my original location for the same time. He was extremely helpful and polite, and overall a great employee!

Great location needed a last min rental and they had just what I needed the guy in the front desk was very nice and gave me all the information I needed, the rental was in great Condition nice and clean and it was easy to pick up and drop off also love that they were open on Sunday until 6pm definitely will rent from them again

Tell customers the correct pickup time. Agent told me i could pick up van at 9am only to get an email that I couldn’t. Calls within posted hours went to voicemail with no call back. Poor customer service at this location

i Was asked to show up 15 minutes early to pick up my truck at noon. When I got there my truck was still being rented and I had to wait until 12:30 for everything to be ready. With a tight timetable to move from my apartment this was an inconvenience. I also still haven’t received a receipt. When will I receive this ?

Roberto is a very nice guy. However, who ever was working at night when I dropped off my truck claimed I left it dirty. This is was a lie and I would never recomenend to anyone to go there. They wouldn't even check the car when I was there. I am asking for a cleaning fee refund.

I had a bad experience at the 597 Marlin location with no help from the staff there - however after having been transferred ton315 Coles the attendant was super helpful and friendly. I’ll bw renting from there in he future.

The person at that location was really rude and did not seem to care about the issues I was having setting it up.Also, had to wait 20-30 minutes there because the person had gone without mentioning when he would be back. The car was not completely clean and had some stuff lying around.

Truck was not available at the indicated pick-up time; they were an hour late which was stressful and frustrating since I was on a tight schedule. One person at the counter was very helpful, but there was another (younger) person working in the back who had an absolutely terrible attitude, volunteered his opinions unasked, and further soured my experience. After we started driving the truck, we noticed that there was something wrong with the passenger door which made it difficult to close fully.

More clarity on charges. There was a discrepancy between the online quote and what we were quoted in-person. The rep also made it seem that purchasing insurance was required, when that was not the case.

My experience was great! Only thing I want to mention is upon picking up the U-Haul truck it reeked of cigarette smoke. Other than that everything was great and the attend at this location was very helpful!

Coles st. Was amazing HOWEVER I was originally supposed to pick up from DDAR Rentals LLC 597 Luis Munoz Marin Blvd Jersey City, NJ 07310 (201) 793-8921 The experience there was HORRIFIC!! I showed up and they did not have any trucks the size i ordered. I also ordered 2 dolly’s And furniture blankets in which they only had ONE dolly. Besides not having the truck nor any of the supplies they man working there said i had to pick up the truck from a different location. I asked him what location and he just gave me a “numeric location”. I asked him where (for example) 47612 location was and he had no idea. I finally called and Tammy (uhaul representative) helped me who was amazing- she helped get everything cleared up. But overall, the inconvenience of not being informed that there were no supplies or trucks at the first place was an actual nightmare. In the future i will be sure to never use uhaul again.

This location offers 24 hour drop off, but doesn't provide a place to drop off keys. I dropped off my truck and had to return the next day to drop off my keys. I was charged an extra $50 for extra day rental because I couldn't drop off they keys and had to return again to the location to drop them off. Why offer a half done service?
