Regular dolly was not available. Rented appliance dolly - hard to use due to weight of the dolly. Recommend having available dolly/mover for boxes.

truck was dusty and sticky upon pickup. but to make it worse the fuel tank was at a sliver above empty. guess what we barely made it a mile before it ran out!! so your service location failed, your online rep failed, and uhaul failed.

You could smell the cigarettes from the parking lot. When you walked in the office I felt I needed a gas mask!!!!! The cigarette smell was so bad!!!! The truck smelled of cigarettes so bad too!!! The back wasn't really swept very good, and the ziptie on the dolly was broken. The passenger mirror needed adjusting, but it was hard fast in it's position. Had to do most of the driving with the windows down, and it was 107° outside!!! I left my garage clicker in the cab, so I called after hours, and left a message. Then I went back when they opened in the morning. The truck was already rented out (even though I told them I might need it 24 hours) and he said 'no clicker' in the cab...'we check it real good every time'! Maybe on one of those checks they could empty out the ashtray!!

Showed up right at 12:00 (midnight) to pickup my Uhaul as my flight had just landed an hour prior. Was unable to rent truck remotely as promised and received a message that I needed to go to the counter for assistance which meant waiting until 8:00 AM. 7:30 I showed up to the location and called 1-800-Go Uhaul. I spoke with someone who advised my truck had not been setup for 24/7 but there was the same size truck assigned to someone else that could be picked up under 24/7. A switch was made by the rep so i could rent the truck before the location opened. I still had to wait as the 4 dozen pads I had ordered were in either truck they had on site. Upon speaking to the employees they were unsure if they had enough pads and were adamant the 24/7 rental was set up on their end. If this was actually set up my pads would have been in the truck and my rental would have processed at midnight and would have had no issue at 7:30. But I had to receive help from the call center to get the ball rolling. I called days in advance several times to ensure they knew the importance that my truck be set up because I was flying in from out of state with movers set up at 5 AM. Horrible service, no apologies by any employees who should have taken responsibility. 0 stars.

I would say to provide a small broom to sweep out any mess left from moving. That way it would help to have such a convenience to finish up the job of leaving an even cleaner truck.
