I don't know if this was a glitch, but when I did the self-return on my mobile device, it did not tell me where to leave the U-Haul keys. I had to chat a U-Haul representative to figure out what to do. It took up a bunch of time.

The lady that was there was rude to just about everyone who came in the office to ask a question, office served as storage as well as U-Haul. The truck was VERY dirty, she didn’t check it and I found moldy food in the back. Upon returning the truck, I had to push for a paper receipt with the proper charge and she made me wait outside in 105° while she looked at the truck 30 feet away.

The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful but the location does not have dollies which was very inconvenient and literally doubled the amount of time it took for my husband and I to move. It would be helpful if uhaul made mention of that on the website when checking out so that a person who really needs dollies can go to another location. I chose a location close to where I was moving from but it would have been better to pick up from Glendale and have gotten my 2 dollies.

U-haul telephone customer service. I had to call 3 times and was on the phone over 45 minutes each time and told my problems were resolved and I ended up having to go to the location to get it taken care of due to the incompetence of the telephone customer support. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 7 am and didn’t get it until 1015 causing me to pay movers for 3 hours of nothing while we waited on the truck

I submitted my order a week in advance requesting a truck, a dolly, and 6 furniture covers. When I arrived they did not have the dolly or furniture covers available. What is the point of submitting your order online a week early if they aren’t going to have the equipment requested? Also one girl working there was very rude and talked on the phone instead of helping us. All of these issues caused an hour plus delay in our move time. Also, online it said that we could return the truck to any location. Then the girl that work there told us that it had to be returned to that location causing another 15 miles charge to my bill. I would never rent from this location again!

I was called after I dropped off the truck and basically reprimanded for where I left truck. No one was in office and it looked dark so I thought no one was there and I didn’t know where to leave the truck. There were two trucks sitting in lot outside fence but I didn’t feel comfortablr leaving mine there. I left it where it would be seen. I apologize for this mistake but thought it was the right thing to do.

THE PLACE WE STORED THE ITEMS THE MEXICAN GIRL VERY NICE NEVER A PROBLEM I ASK'D HER FOR HELP B 4 AND SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL VERY HELP THE NEW GIRL SORRY SHE IS BLACK SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE I WILL NOT GET INTO IT ... Quoted only $55 for uhaul based on a 24 hour rental. Ended up only using it for 4 hours. Brought it back and was charged $168!! It is truly outrageous! My husband dropped it off so I didn’t see the receipt until it was emailed to me. I won’t be using uhaul again

I rented a truck for 5 hours and returned the truck with a little more gas than what I picked it up with. The next day when I looked at my reciept I was charged nearly 40 dollars with it stating that I did not return it with the correct amount of gas. Provided proof of the milage and gas I returned it with and was told that they would place a stop payment until the review was done and was still charged for the “gas” that was supposedly not correct. This is what makes you not want to do business with a specific location and company due to the lack of integrity. If it was a mistake I would have not thought anything of it I would just expect it to get resolved but calling in and having the rep basically state I was lying before asking if I had a picture of the milage and gas gauge is what makes this whole experience terrible.

Apparently the truck I had belonged to this specific location. I had to turn around and figure out how to get it back 58 miles away after I moved. I called 3 times to uhaul to sort things out. No customer service reps ever called me back like I was promised. My new home wasn't even more than .25 miles away from a uhaul place, but I got charged double miles and had to wait over a week until I was able to return it due to my work schedule and a dust storm. I agreed to pay $125. Now uhaul wants me to pay over $600. When I picked up the keys, the person never said anything about the vehicle needing to be returned to the same location. I didn't find out until 2 days later. It's the biggest scam of my life.
