Orlando AThe van we rented was not clean. It smelled like farm animals. THere was dirt on the back rear mat and underneath it. The odor was not pleasant. We had to clean it ourselves before we used it for our trip.

Robert SMy pick up location/staff was terrific. The rental process however was NOT. I rented online in April for May 22nd. I Received a call within 24 hours of reserving confirming location and equipment rental. Great. Minutes before I was about to leave to pick up the rental on May 22nd, however, I received a confirmation call with a different location (significantly further away from my home). I got to the new location and they didn't have the equipment I rented. I needed a cargo van (which I reserved) and got to the location I did not choose to be told they only had trucks. As I was moving to a city, a truck was not an option, I needed the cargo van I reserved. Called U Haul AGAIN and found a van another 15 miles away. Once I got to the 2nd,different, location from what I originally booked, the van was ready and fine but the multiple changes in my reservation with no notice created a very negative experience. The representative I spoke with repeatedly on 5/22 was very helpful and I appreciate that equipment availability changes, however, the lack of notification is a shameful business practice.

Mark MI was unable to complete the truck return on my phone which is supposed to incur a $20 fee for convenience of having a staff member do it. I have requested to not be charged that fee since the online form failed to process.

Robert MIf it wasn't for John, I don't know how well this transaction would have been. He is UHaul's secret weapon. One of the best people that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. He patiently answered all of my questions, even when I asked the same question over and over again. The van was super cleaning and had a full tank of gas. I appreciated the intial walkthrough to show me where the lights, windshield wipers, the gas tank, the video in the rear view mirror to show what's behind me. No one does this when you rent a vehicle and usually it's a scramble to learn where the instrumentation is, at the same time you need it! Thanks to John, I was really prepared, which contributed to my overall safety! I can go on and on and still fall short of the excellence of this UHaul location.

While I did not use the storage facility (this was a point to point move), I expect it too is excellent based on the experience I had. Thx.

Christopher JI reserved a 10 foot truck several weeks before planned move and received a call at 6:45 AM on the day of the move telling me that there was no truck at the location U-Haul indicated I would pick up my vehicle. This occurred after they changed the location I originally selected. Completely unreliable and unacceptable.

ROBERT PEverything was outstanding -- customer service, price, quality. The only issue I had was finding the location online. When I did a search on u-haul locations near me it only came up with Flemington -- the Clinton location never came up. I had to physically drive to the Clinton location to see if it was still there!
