I made reservations several times for this location but the online system would later send me an email directing me to another location for the truck. I cancelled all of those reservations and went in person to Sullivan's the night before and rented a truck they had on their lot. your online reservation system needs significant improvement.

Vehicle did not run well. Transmission did not shift well in gear. I had to shift from 3rd to drive after every stop for almost 900 miles. I did not get all 2 dozen moving blankets I was charged for.

The man that received the truck was very helpful. Unfortunately he had to track me down in the grocery store next door and call my name down the aisle to get my attention to come pay the remaining balance. I assumed that the overages for gas and mileage would be charged to the original credit card, but apparently not.

Netting in entryway of facilitiy had several dead birds on it. Netting is not installed properly, causing birds to get stuck up there which is cruel. Netting should be removed. I'm sure dead birds are great for the health of employees or customers either.

Its so far away from the location I actually needed it. Not having to pay for gas and mileage would be great especially when nothing was available even though I was able to reserve one online for Rochelle, IL and the equipment was broken. The man was very nice at this location and got me out of there as quickly as he could even though the system was freezing again!

Probably you should improve your on-line reservation system. After I made the reservation on-line with all information, when picking up the unit, even though they found the reservation, they have to enter the information all over again.

Excellent equipment, super nice people, and good location made it a great experience. Can't rate your website as highly, though. New fields regarding info on auto's towing rating and hitch rating had inappropriate multiple choice options - I had to call in to make reservation. C'mon guys - it's 2017. Please review and update choices for 2009 Toyota 4Runner

Notify of the gas refuel. I was not informed and dropped the truck off and put the keys in the drop box- I then read that I needed to refuel but I wasn't able to. I was then charged a $30 fee for not doing so. Being informed would have been nice.

Allow for additional truck sizes and trailer sizes to be rented from this location. This is convenient and much easier to get to than Loves Park location. Somehow coordinate with other locations to transport trucks to Winnebago to support the local community.

we spent an hour driving around looking for this office and couldnt even find it with gps. they didnt have a sign stating they are a uhaul location so we had to keep getting out of our car to try and find out where they were..eventually found them by process of elimination. we couldnt get anyone on the phone to find out where they were and even though hours were posted till 5pm at 3:30 the man wasnt there to take our return. we had to get a written statement from the clerk showing we dropped off the trailor and even then it wasnt returned until the main office called telling them to post it as returned. i want going to pay extra days because it wanst put back into the system. the trailor itself was good but the entire renting experience was a disaster.

I asked for a 10 ft truck in somerset. I got a 14 ft truck in london. Although they gave me credit for a few extra miles,. I certainly had to pay for the gas that it took to drive the 45 miles. I was disappointed in the system, not the leasing office

Fix your software!!!! The last 3 times we have rented from uhaul, at 3 different locations, it has taken 1 to 2 HOURS to do rental contract! This time we reserved and it still took an hour and 45 minutes to rent.

I had an emergency and need to drop off the trailer at a different location than originally contracted on (03/24). I contacted the toll free number to ask for help. The U-Haul representative (lady, but I did get her name) that I spoke with directed me to this location because it was the only one open until 5:00 in that area and said she would change the drop off location on my account. I got there at approx 4:45 and no one representing U-Haul was there. The gentleman that worked at the other business (aparently U-Haul shared a desk with a quick mart) said it was OK to drop off the trailer since the U-Haul representative was rarely there. He gave me a hand written receipt that I returned the trailer (on 3/24). On Monday of the following week, I got a text message that the trailer had not been returned. I contacted the number on the text message and they had no record that I called on Saturday, so my account had not been changed to reflect this. On Friday, I got an email stating that I owed $191.17 and that you would send me to a collection agency (4 days? Seriously). You didn't have a problem contacting me to find out where the trailer was... but you couldn't call me to let me know that I needed to pay the balance? Overall, I feel like I was treated very poorly and my experience with the U_Haul toll free help was absolutely no help and the drop off location was extremely unprofessional. I suggest if you want this location to represent U-Haul, I'd make sure a qualified representative was there during the business hours advertised. I just paid the balance, without the late fee, not knowing exactly what the additional $161 was for (wasn't clear on the web site) because I don't want to get another treatening email. I assume it was for an unplanned drop off location, which I understand and expected to have to pay, but not that much. If for any reason this $161 was for more days than I contracted, that is WRONG, as I returned in on the same day I rented it. Unless someone contacts me about this matter to explain the charges and/or to apologize for my overall negative experience, I don't plan to use U-Haul in the future.

tires were in very poor condition which caused the truck to get stuck. therefore with non cooperation from uhaul i had to pay at my own expense 150 dollars to have the uhaul pulled out.

The people were nice but the were not very knowledgable and it took a long time to complete transaction. The truck was very dirty and smelled strongly of smoke. The ramp was broken also. I would have requested a different truck but they had none and we were under a time crunch.

I had to wait till 9am to get started, when moving the earlier the better. I was expecting 8am. The truck was very dirty, the cargo area was not swept out and the cab was just nasty. Mud and cigarette ashes everywhere.

Location is difficult to find. There was no sign. Nothing was explained to me about the Uhaul. He gave me the key in the office and gave me the dolly and that was it...I've always had them ask me to inspect the vehicle and explain what I would need to do if there were problems....etc. There was no conversation whatsoever...it was a bit strange.
