Keys not available, waited 50 minutes passed reservation time to be given keys to another truck that didn’t have the dolly equipment specified in my contract.

I originally went to 6923 W Loop 1604 N Ste 211, San Antonio, TX 78254 to drop off. After leaving several messages and stopping by I reached out to the location I dropped off at. I was told that the previous location no longer provided services. That would be great to know via google maps or some other type of update.

The equipment was fairly clean. Some crumbs in cup holder and floor mats were sandy but overall truck was in good shape.

I had reserved a dolly and was told that I needed to pickup at another location.I had reserved the truck for a location that is approximate 1mile from my house and had to drive 20 miles from my house.

That truck needs a tune up. Gas mileage was terrible.

It's not really the location's fault, since this location isn't really U-Haul, but a front. The truck's engine light was on the entire duration of my rental, and this location didn't have the materials I reserved, which added time and miles to my trip when I least needed them.

For some reason when I started the pick trans action it ask me if truck was clean and I put no , yet when I returned the truck online ask me if truck was clean and said no again yet now it charged me $25 …. Not something I would expect since truck was dirty when I picked it up . I hope someone reaches out from Uhaul so they can explain the charge.

It was not this location but the fact that I was contacted the day prior to pick up that I would have to go to this location instead of where I had my reservation because they didn't have a truck for me. I had this reservation made over 2 weeks in advance. And then I had to make a trip to the original location to get the furniture pads and mattress bag that was ordered with the reservation. I think the company needs to have its franchisee's working together to better satisfy the customer. Somebody could have, AND SHOULD HAVE, picked up the truck from the second location so I, the customer, was not put out in taking care of this and having to then circle back to the original location to pick up other items.

It was after hours and no one was there. I did a follow up call the next day and the call had no customer service. He was completely indifferent.

I was offered an appliance dolly and it was not available and still charged. When I was in store I turned down insurance and still charged for it. I was not happy with my service at all. And will be disputing my charges.

Only reason I'm not rating excellent is because the person who was supposed to out check the vehicle never showed. However, I was still able to get my equipment in a timely manner.

I’m not sure about recommending because all I did was drop off , but I can say the staff working was very helpful and nice it’s a nice place and if your having car problems it’s a machanic shop as well

The office was closed during dropoff(Saturday) and hence "Not Applicable".

I turned in the U-Haul trailer a day before it was due and I still had calls about not turning in the trailer for 2 days after. The representative at this location didn't check the trailer in on time, even after I called twice about it. I had to call the corporate office and drive back to the location to ensure it was checked in and not reported stolen.

Different location which was originally hooked which made my miles/total cost increase. Couldn't call location in advance due to no one answering phones. Couldn't find keys which made me lose time with the move. Very expensive as well.

We were moving from a large (1075 sqft) 2-bedroom apartment to a 3-bedroom house. I opted for a 20' truck, per the uHaul website guidelines for the apartment and square footage. At the counter, when I explained the situation, the clerk tried to sell me a 16' truck but I knew that would not be large enough. We had hired a moving company just to load and unload the uHaul so we could save on the transport fees from the moving company. This shortcut backfired on us badly, as they got the truck 75 % full and told us we were quickly running out of room...and they hadn't loaded a lot of our goods yet. At that point, they still had a king-size bed and a piano, among other things. We should have gone with the 24' truck! We ended up paying almost $2000 more due to time lost and the securing of another truck (NOT uHaul) to finish the move. I accept responsibility for a bad decision, but I am also upset for uHaul for not listening to my stated needs and trying to talk me into a 16' truck, rather than asking square footage of our apartment and what we had to move. We have never had a bad experience with uHaul prior to this but because this move was botched so badly we will not use uHaul's services or products for any future moves.

Horrible experience with UHAUL. Original location was changed for pickup. I went to new location and couldn't do self pickup. I got sent to original location I had selected and truck was behind a locked gate. No hate on any of the 3 boxes. Could not verify me. Claiming alternate contact was not answering his phone when he was right next to me. No calls incoming. Got sent back to a different location to get truck. I'm never using uhaul again.

Very nice service. I get a truck for moving . Once I got home truck was not starting , then I call there help line no . They respond me within 20 min to send the mechanic and then resolved my problem. Truck is fine neet and cleane easy to drive. Very nice service. I recommend every one to use unsullied service.

Ride share was setup on my end but at the site it was not setup for me to receive keys. Was very unhappy waited over an hour to get my key sales mgr showed up to give me key. Very unhappy....all I was supposed to do was pickup and go. But delayed my move by a whole hour.

They were not doing their job and didn't do things correctly. The truck didn't have a full tank of gas and I had to let them know. They also didn't know if they had a dolly which I had reserved and were ready to send me to another location. They didn't write down my mileage either when I started.

First thing they want us to go to other area cause he said they are full in space,which is not. Good thing we insisted, and we prevail. They should have told via email/text ahead of time if they cant accomodate it, so not to waste time, in the first place its should not be the problem its just a matter of quality customer service.

It's very miss leading when it states 30 a day and the final receipt I received was 98.00, and should have been 60.00. I would like an explanation of what that charge is for.

Leave a few pieces of 2x4 or 4x4 for wheel chock material. The lot has a very minor slope that could be problematic to a non observant renter.

Landon was a pleasure to do business with and is very polite and made this the best uhual experience I've had. He really went above and beyond for me today and made sure all 4 of my tires on my personal vehicle were aired up to the right psi. I told him I thought it was back left that was low but he wanted to make sure they were all good. I truly appreciate this kind of customer service.

The "U-Haul" personnel were not on sight, no idea if they ever showed up. Business owner was helpful on another matter. I have rented U Haul car hualers several times. This units hydraulic brakes, despite being relatively new, seemed somewhat ineffective. I was not able to relay this to a U Haul rep because none was available at the drop off location.

The owner of the car place told me the uhaul guy was there and would try to get him to "work" and talk to me even though it was 15-30 min past opening. Then he had no idea how to use the reservation system. He promised to email a receipt, but then he forgot. Terrible experience.
