We waited 25 minutes for our rental. There was only 1 cashier who had to wait on all gas/convenience store customers as well as UHaul rental customers.

Attendant was very rude and not helpful. The trailer I reserved along with the moving truck was not connected to the truck. I had to connect it myself with no help from the attendant. The trailer lights were intermittent and one side of the trailer tail lights did not work.

This is one of the worse experience I have had with UHAUL. I was told to pick up at 3 different locations. Then caught the devil trying to return the daRn thing. Website was not acting right. A few of the reps didnt seem to care about my concerns one way or the other. UHaul have always been my family and myself for moving. You need to step up your game of customer satisfaction. I don't know what has happen to UHaul. I appreciate the refund of $50 but it cost me more than that just to get what I needed at the time needed and to return it. Then they wanted to charge me $20 to assist me. I appreciate the pick up and drop off locations but the service needs drastic improvement.

When we returned our uhaul the store tried to over charge us by at least $150.00. The man threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. Called uhauls 800 number and was taken care of. I will never use this location again. These people who run the place are thieves.

This wasn’t where I requested to pick up the trailer I rented but it worked out just fine. My son was moving to his college town and needed a one way trailer rental. Apparently all the kids at his school had the same idea. and they ran out of trailers where I was planning to pick up. I got a text the day before we were to pick it up that we needed to pick up at this location. We had the opportunity to get it a couple of hours earlier than the reserved time and this location was very accommodating. The only improvement I would suggest is that the people working at this location answer their phone. I called multiple times to try to confirm and the phone was never answered. It is s convenience store and gas station so I guess they were too busy. I have s friend that lives down the street from this place and he went by there to confirm it in person for me.

Service was good at this location. Our issue is with the amount of miles/time we spent trying to get a trailer that we had reserved near our home. 50 miles later we had a trailer. Service at this location was fine.

Location is a gas station - Ian (owner) was there when I picked up and when I dropped off. Ian is quick and courteous. Keep and mind that other non-Uhaul-rental customers are coming and going - it may be a bit busy as a gas station (located beside a busy Interstate highway). I've probably done a dozen uHaul rentals over the past 20 years. Today was my best experience of all those rentals.

I had to drive to 3 different locations that UHaul Customer Service kept sending me too. I showed up at my initial location you scheduled per my email received on Friday Aug 17th to pick up my truck, appliance dolly, and furniture pads and when I got there at 9am none of my prepaid contract items were there. Yout customer service then sent me to 2 different locations the 1st ending up without my equipment again and then the final location (shown above) had only my truck. They did not have the dolly or furniture pads. I prepaid all items and have not received refund yet.

This was a gas station. The attendant had a broken laptop and a printer that did not work. I received no instructions and no contract or receipt. I was told all would be emailed to me including my return location. I did not receive any info and upon my return the charges were doubled because they said I went to wrong location. This is my second time using U Haul and both times similar occurrences. I will not be using U Haul again if I can help it.

Cancel the contract with this location. I was moved by U haul and had to drive an extra hour to pick up. Took 1 1/2 hours to get the truck. Location tried to charge me over $100 more than my contract price. Employee argued with Uhaul corporate over the price. Waited on other customers while I stood there.

When a person reserves a truck. They should not receive a message the day before that they would have to go someplace else. I was sent in 3 different plasses. McCalla way out of my way. I could not get receipt. No supples that I paid for. Bad experience

The check in experience was painful and lengthy even though I had pre-checked in. The issues were not the fault of the clerk at Sunny Food #7. The issues are with U-Haul's check in procedure, lack of fast internet connection and confusing program protocol.

the people I dealt with when picking up and returning the equipment were very rude and down right hateful. I have rented from uhaul several times and ha e never had any problems until now. I will never rent from that location again I would go to spenske before i had to deal with those people ever again.

Revoke their U-Haul abilities it took over 2 hours to retrieve my trailer that I had reserved and paid for online. They tried to charge me a $75 deposit and finaly after I said I was going to call corporate office the magically figured it out. I will never rent from that location ever again

First off the Tow Dolly did not work properly. So a different Tow Dolly was issued, however the new Tow Dolly TD2975F was never updated in the computer. Which made returning the Tow Dolly difficult ?? Other than that it was good. Bill Gorman

The equipment was basically in good shape except when I loaded the trailer I noticed it wasn't stopping properly and checked the hydraulic brake system to find out the brake fluid reservoir was empty and look to have not had fluid in it for quite some time. Some Pre-Trip inspection of rental equipment seems to be badly needed.

This location is a gas station and customers were coming and going so everything had to stop to take care of them. Also the internet was out and we waited an hour before we could leave, pushed or schedule back a great deal. The truck did not have much gas so I had to get gas and left it with more than what was originally in it and I got charged extra mileage. Probably won't use uHaul again for anything.

The person was nice, but did not know to fill out paper work. He had no idea what he was doing. After I told him that it was wrong it's sould be one way. He said that was the only way he could do it.

The guy working at this location was the worst attendant I have ever seen. He does not speak english, so it was difficult to have a conversation with him. Beyond that, after he initiated the drop off process, he had me wait 20 minutes to drop off because he had customers waiting to purchase items from his convenient store. When asked what the hold-up was, he pointed at the customers in line. I informed him that I was at the front of that line 20 minutes ago, but he didn't care. I eventually had to lock his front door to prevent any other people from coming in just to get him to complete the transaction. Worst service I've ever had. The entire process lacked communication, organization, and decency from start to finish. The only person that was kind was the guy at the pickup location.

Honestly, find a new dealer! This guy is very rude, makes you wait while he sells beer and stuff to the locals and even worse, orders you around like you work for him. I have now two experiences with the guy and both were horrible! Return the vehicle somewhere else!

The process took a bit longer than usual because there was only one employee working, and he needed to handle the cash register for customers while also trying to check us out. Not a complaint--just needed the process to go a little quicker.

When getting to the location the attendant assisted me by following guidelines (this was around 10:30 a.m.) in a nice and pleasant manner we even had a small issue that was resolved. I guess shift changed (4:30) and so did the attendant from ----. He talked to me as though I did something to him and spoke ugly to my wife. He also threatened me if i didn't sweep the back of the truck he would charge us for some mild dirt that was already in there upon renting the truck. I won't go back and I don't want anyone else to experience what we did. Praying for him

Make sure that customers know they need to ask for extra miles when booking and picking up the Truck so that there is no surprise Excess Mileage charge to be paid when turned in.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I came in to pick up the truck the guy that was checking me out started entering info in computer but wld stop working on me and wait on every customer that walked in then when he finally got finished entering my info he said it didn't save and had to start over. Then same thing stop working on me and then take every customer that walked in the door took 45 min or longer to get the truck. Mind you this was my second trip to the location.

We were charged 3x the mileage we actually drove and because the man that rented it to us didn't go and check beforehand there was nothing we could do. It also took an hour to rent and an hour to return. This was completely unacceptable! I will not be back to uhaul again!

It took an hour to get my vehicle picked up and to drop off. The cashier stops to check out everybody that comes in, turn on gas pumps, watch people in the store, leave counter to show customers where things are etc. The uhaul rental is done on his laptop computer so it's whenever he can click a button between customers. Very frustrating and we have use this location twice just to see if it was the same way. Will never use this one again.

This experience was horrible! I was specific in asking for Skyland location, they sent me to Brookwood they were not opened at 7 or 8am like the operating hours say. Then the customer service lady sent us to Woodstock 30 miles away. We finally got the rental and the left tail signal/ break light was out! Finally had everything done in Tuscaloosa and had to return it back in Mccalla 30 min away. I thought I would save money by renting your tow but spent More Time and Money. It was awful today talking to a rep in Florida that had no idea of local vendors.

U haul should probably stop giving away trucks that people have reserved months in advance in an effort to make additional profits. It is incredibly frustrating to get to a location and be told that your reserved and confirmed truck is unavailable and instead be offered something else entirely that does not fit your needs.

Friendly clerk, but the equipment needed to be cleaned and maintained. I had to replace the wiring harness during the rental period with my own money due to a wiring short.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. This location was not the location I selected and was actually 30ish miles away. When I got there, the personnel hooked up a trailer to my vehicle and had me pay. After I left, I realized that the man had given me the wrong size trailer. I called back and he said that's all he had, even though Uhaul had told me that I had to drive all of the way out there to get the right size. I called Uhaul's customer service and they said there was nothing I could do. I was stuck with a smaller trailer, not all of my stuff fit, but I paid the price of the larger trailer! It was the most miserable thing and I will not be using Uhaul again.

The gentleman at the counter was rude, did not want to help me. The car dolly had 1 light that did not work, straps were frayed and one side was held on with zip ties. When I told the attendant about it he said it will be fine and walked away. If I was not desperate I would have went somewhere else. Honestly I did not think that U-Haul conducted business like that. It was not easy to find as the business name was difficult to see. The truck had ants all over the inside of the cab and smelled like a barn. The man inside was difficult to understand, even in person.

The customer service person had none of my information in the computer, so it took 30 minutes to reload it. Then, when we went outside, a mechanic had the car dolly wheel taken apart, which took another 30 minutes to fix and caused us a total delay of 1 hour. This was on top of the hour delay due to the pick-up location being 30 minutes from the one I requested. Terrible experience. I will not use U-Haul again,

Did not help with hooking up the trailer after I asked. And the lights had a short and flashed every time I hit a bump in the road. I also could not understand a word the foreign gas station attendant said.

I had reserved, or so I thought, a 5X9 van trailer in Tuscaloosa, AL over the phone. When I got there, the van was actually just an open trailer which is not what I had asked for. The girl working said the person who had made the reservation had done the same thing several times. So, I ended up having to drive North 30 minutes to McCalla to pick up a van trailer. There was no issue there, but the whole situation in Tuscaloosa was very upsetting. I tried calling the 800 Go Uhaul to complain and never could get to speak with a real person. The clerk at the Tuscaloosa office said she had screenshot my reservation and felt I should be reimbursed for the mistake at the call center. Please advise on how I can go about this further. Thank you.

This was the WORST experience renting I have ever had. My father and I spent >90 minutes in a tiny, run-down, dump-of-a-store to rent a truck which I was told was ready/reserved. The first 60 minutes were spent with the clerk stating that you (corporate U-Haul) had made an error and that no truck was available. Only after I pointed out that there were two trucks in the lot did he decide to start a 'new' rental process and rent a truck for me. Had I made a special request for the oldest, smelliest, dirtiest broke-ass truck in the great State of Alabama, you would have met all of my wishes. Seriously - the thing puffed black smoke the entire trip. My fiance' couldn't 'follow' us in her car because the fumes were too intolerable. F+

This location is a small, dirty Exxon (gas station) with one employee. For every customer who entered the business, my "transaction" was put on hold while the employee rung up the other customer. The attendant had to ask ME where I was returning the truck, because he was unable to access the information. I was told that the truck had a "full" gas tank, It was not. I took a picture of the gas guage and left the site, happy to be out of there. The truck cab was filthy. I immediately drove to the U-Haul (a real one) dealership at Skyline Blvd, in Tuscaloosa where I originally scheduled a pick up. They adjusted the contract for the gas, cleaned the truck, and provided the pads that I had requested when I made the "reservation". It turns out that my "reservation" for a truck with U-Haul is not really a "reservation", but a request. I am most upset with U-Haul for not providing a truck as arranged and for having a sub-par "dealership". The people at the SKYLINE dealership actually saved my day. The outfit where I picked up the truck should be closed or transferred to another location nearby (there is a Love's GAS station nearby). I probably should file an objection with U-Haul for what I had to put up with at this location! I certainly would consider Budget or Penske in the future!

The owner was completely unhelpful. Did nothing to help- once we figured out how to hook it to our truck and hitch, only the left light worked on the trailer. We were just given the option to cancel even though we were 300 mikes away from home.
