This was so ghetto. I had a 12pm reservation. Got there and the person there knew nothing about uhaul. He had to call the boss who was who knows where driving. I had to take the vehicle without even finishing the paperwork because I really needed it. Boss said just take it, he would do when he was able to stop. No one checked the van I ended up taking my own pics of the gas gage and mileage. When I went to return it same story. boss not there guy had to call him. He didn't close out my rental until like the next day because he was driving. Then charged me a $20 after hours fee??? I didn't even question it. I was in a bind but lesson learned. I will NEVER rent from this location again. This is my first time renting a uhaul and if this is how they all are I will stick with Home Depot !Shay M.

Guy barely said a word and just took the key. Ten minutes later I get an additional bill for all sorts of non-applicable fees. Aside from the long hold, U-haul customer service was pleasant to deal with and helpful in refunding these charges.Joe E.
Lady behind the counter didn't know what she was doing. Hardly spoke English. Had her boss on the telephone and he didn't speak that well either. He called me 2 X On my phone after I picked it up to ask me for my information after the lady already took a copy of my husbands license and gave her my credit card. Very poorly run operation .Susan G.

The whole thing is garbage, employee is crap, very unorganized, he can even track his truck 3 days after I brought back the truck he called me to ask me when will I bring the truck back. He inspected the truck before i left he called me to ask me how many mileage i drove with this truck. Can you believe this crap. The guy looks like a dummy.Darkindy N.

The representative was polite and did his best, unfortunately (for me) he does not speak or understand English very well. He was able to point to a couple of pre-printed signs. This location needs a drop box. The primary issue was my Apple cellular phone not giving me access to my location. This was easily resolved once I contacted customer service at Uhaul.Tennelle S.

I scheduled my pickup from Jericho and UHual changed the pick location and didn't inform me until I was already at the Jericho pick up location (notification was done by text). At the new pick up location, 1580 Straight Path, Wyandanch, the attendant barely spoke English and didn't know how to complete the transaction. The owner of the location callled to walk him through because he left the location at 11am thinking my pick up was 11am vs the scheduled 12noon. I schedule 12 blankets at $10 and the owner wanted to only give me 6 blankets. Told him I scheduled and paid for 12 and need 12 because if I show up in Pittsburgh with only 6 of the 12 I will probably have to pay for it. He said to tell them you have 6. Told me he would get the attendant that is at the gas station to give me 12 blankets. The attendant open the door and gave me some blankets and said 6 and proceed to give me the key to the truck and tried to close the door even though we didn't get the 12 blankets. I didn't accepted the truck keys and when I counted the blankets he gave us it was only 4 blankets. He had no intention of giving us any more blankets. When he realized that I wasn't going to take the truck keys he came out of the booth and went to storage and reluctantly gave of additional blankets. We kept insisting that we paid for 12 and need 12. After giving us the 12th blanket he said there you go now go! He said get out of her! Go you got your 12 you got what you claim you paid for so go! He was rude, kirt, condescending, provided poor customer service. He shewed me like a dog and spoke to me with no respect. I did not do or say anything wrong or spoke disrespectfully to the attendant! I did not appreciate his tone, or how I was treated. In addition the owner hung up on me when I kept telling him I needed the 12 blankets not 6 that I had paid to use. Think uHual need to take a closer look at this subcontractor and determine if they are representing your brand properly! In addition the truck was not clean! Please do SOMETHING about this service center!Marrio G.

Don't reserve or rent from this location. The boss at that gas station for uhaul rental has a nasty attitude. Askes you a question and to end it with, "whatever". Very difficult to speak to him. And than tells me I am not allowed to take a one way trip even if the reservation approved it. Also did not inspect the truck for me. I was told I was responsible to check for any dents. And the mileage seem to not be important to him. So I had to do his job by inspecting and noting the mileage. Had to check if the gas tank was full so he can mark it on the phone. Terrible by far the worst experience renting any vehicle. Other than that the truck worked well. Moved to CT and dropped it off out there. Spoke with an actual uhaul representative in which he inspected the truck. Very cool dude.Johnny O.

The van was on top of ice in a parking lot of a gas station that had not salted or shoveled the previous day. It was dangerous to get to. The windshields had heavy frost and without any tool to remove it. The dolly I had requested was not in the van and later I was charged for it and had to contact U-Haul to get this removed. Terrible experience.Edwin U.
