When I arrived at the location, the woman at the counter did not speak English. She had me call someone who could help me. That was not a good first impression. However, the person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. He said that they did not have moving blankets, which I had reserved, and that was frustrating. He did take the charge off my bill though. All-in-all, it was a fine transaction, but it could have gone more quickly and smoothly.

A gas station location. Nothing special.
Christopher HStarting with the negatives, the vehicle smelled of smoke and I did not receive the dolly I had reserved, making my unloading take longer than I planned. I was also charged for an extra day, but thankfully U-Haul support, which was great, removed the charge in a few hours. On the positive side, the van was fantastic! It was almost brand new with just over a thousand miles, and it had all the latest technology, including a backup window in the rear-view mirror, and drove very nicely. The staff was also friendly and the pickup and dropoff process was easy.
BARRY WI waited 40 mins for my rental keys due to the locations "protocol" in rental confirmation. The attendant was not able to support me at all and insistent I called a phone number of the boss who then didn't answer until the fifth time I called after standing around waiting for 30 minutes and being told to keep trying. The location was changed by u-haul without my knowledge at the very last minute. This lead to me not having access to the moving equipment I was anticipating on having because this location didn't have it.. which resulted in me having to spend more money at the original location I chose on the supplies I was supposed to get with the rental in the first place. The experience was unpleasant and very frustrating.

Michael HI would remove this location from your franchise. I've used UHail in other locations in the past and always had a good experience.. This was a terrible experience. The person there lied and said she had no keys to the van but said to try her boss but said he was probably sleeping and wouldn't answer the phone. He did not pick up his phone and this was at 9:30 AM. I had to contact UHaul directly and it took over one hour to get this resolved and for the lying employee to finally hand over the keys.

Vincent AThere can be more understanding more gas is more than a dollar. The truck had way more gas than what was expected to return and I drove 1 mileage over than was paid for and still charged for the 1 mileage then you should also refund the money for the gas overage. My suggestion is to put the mileage in bands for example 1- 5 -$4 6 - 10 - $8 etc.

Latrell RLocation did not close out my rental when the vehicle was returned. I was billed for additional days when in fact the rental was returned within 2 hours of the pick up time. Had to contact U-Haul customer service to correct and credit the rental amount.

He was helpful, but ultimately I did not get the additional equipment i had ordered, had to speak to 3 people in order to pick the truck, and the truck's canin was dirty. What was supposed to be a quicker pick up option took me 40 min.

Fabian SAttendant accepted key and instructed me to park truck in parking lot. Truck return was never recorded at time of return. I was called by U-Haul that truck was not returned and I told them where it was It was noted in the rental record but nothing was done, despite several calls on Thursday. U-Haul reps were unable to do anything. Today (Friday) I received an e-mail notifying me that I was being charged for returning the truck two days late. I called Service Center again at 11:45 AM and was told that I would receive a refund and the issue was being escalated. So far at 6 PM NO RESPONSE-NO EMAIL -NO REFUND

This is very alarming and messed up how you over charge me for additional fees that was never disclosed at the beginning of the initial rental process. I have rented Uhauls before but never ever been over charged on my card for almost $400!! O don't know if it's uhaul.thselves or the location but I will.mever use ypur service or this location again This has never happened to me before renting a van for a few hours. This is not right and I will be placing a complaint today along with some sort of refund and if uhaul does not give me.most of my.money back I will report uhaul in the better business bureau because this is ridiculous!

Wilfredo RI am waiting to hear from the location contact as to why an additional 100 miles was added to my invoice. The windshield wipers had no liquid in them and the windows were filthy, I had to use my own windex to clean the windows. As well, the first van they gave me had no gas and had a check engine light on so we switched it for the other van.
MICHAEL nunfortunately it was not an easy experience. I've rented from this place before and it was smooth. This time, there was an issue with the person who was handling the account for this location. I arrived at sunoco on route 4. I walked in the store since I need to get the key. the guy at the counter called the person who is responsible for handling the key. I called the person and he said I did not have a reservation. He said he will call Uhaul to find out if I had a reservation. I waited 15-30 min outside next to the truck. I was on a time crunch since I needed to be down the shore before lunch. I called Uhaul to find out and I was connected to a representative within a minute or 2. the representative was very pleasant and helpful. She passed me on to another person and the next person had an attitude but she was very aggressive. She told me to go inside the store and speak to the person on the counter. I placed my phone on speaker and the guy all of a sudden had the key at the counter. The person who I spoke with earlier (possible name is John (Umutkan I didnt get his name)called me back and still said I had no reservation. I don't get it how all of a sudden he was able to hand me the key but before it was an issue even though I showed him my reservation on the phone and everything else. Before, it was easy and i was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Antonio WEverything was fine, however when I went to input the mileage and fuel. There was a bug in which I got charged $60 dollars and I didn't go over the mileage. My contract stated if I went over 75 miles, I would be charged .99, and I was charged. Then customer service on the phone wasn't nice (not the location). One of the reps hung up the phone on me. Towards the end it didn't go well.
Omar KAsked for someone to check me in, which was done over the phone. There was a dent on the uhaul that I was not told about. I was charged a cdw covarage charge which I did not select nor was I told about. I have had to call three times on issue, I have never had to ever do in my life! These guys are doing something shady there.

When they finally got that open, after an hour, the battery was dead. Dealt with a random gas station cashier who would call the "uhaul" rep and handed me a phone. Very shady experience.

Harold WThey have added Safe Coverage for $25 without asking. They told me the 3/4 gas is there but there wasn't. And then, when I returned with gas filled in more than I have received by the time I rented, they have charged me for extra gas using their rates. I even showed them the picture of the gas level when I rented and they told me I have to pay for it. It wasn't fair experience for me to pay for it. So I have requested the person to change it to 3/4 as he mentioned since I have returned it over the gas level that I rented, then he told me it's not fair for the next customer. Is this fair for me then? It's still not fair amount that I have to pay for 1 hour 45 minutes rental riding 18 miles in total for $81.82. I should get refund for Safe Coverage Fee of $25 and Additional Gas Charge of $8.25.

MUHAMMAD SThey tried to tack on a extra day. I clearly brought the van back before I was supposed to. Next time, I would be nice to mention that you are going to charge a extra 50 dollars tax on to the sub total instead of letting me know after the fact and have to call to rectify all the issues. I am extremely disappointed in Uhaul and I don't think I will be using you guys anymore. Not happy with what happened.

RAFAELA TBe prepared. Clearly advise the customer where to find the key. Moving blankets were stashed in a shed hidden behind the station, among trash, debris and boxes of food inventory. The blankets were dirty and too few were available. There was no dolly, as ordered. The 100 000 mile old truck was a wreck. The drivers side view mirror was stuck in a position that made it impossible to see other cars. Very dangerous.

( I put over 100 miles on the truck ) Finally went inside store ( no signs of where to go to for uhaul ) there was a Dunkin Donut and a convenience store clerk ! A sign would have been helpful !
