I was very surprised at the rudeness I received. I rented a truck for maybe two hours. The tellers took his time in getting my information after I told him several times that I entered all my info on line. He was like ma'am we have to enter all this info if you dont like it take it up with uhaul. Then no one walked me to the truck to look at the meter which was two miles different from what their system said. After returning the truck I showed the guy I had put more gas in the truck than was originally put he was very nonchalant about it. If I had to recommend something about this store. I would say develop a better customer service program r at least show that you care about the customer even if you font.Calandra C.

We arrive at 7 am , the customer service guy took our key as we were trying to drop it in the box he never checked the vehicle he went inside and said I'll email you in 5 mins but charged us extra money ! They overcharged $274 for one day late. Truck was never scheduled to drop off there we just dropped off there one way rental. Uhaul only costs $39,99 per day so how does a one day late equal $274; Never drop off here they will overcharge you.DEVEALE G.
My reserved truck was originally at another location, which I drove to in the morning. Once there, the truck was not properly set up for mobile check-in and the business was closed. So after waiting on hold for 15min, I was then transferred to another dept and was on hold for 20+ min. Eventually, another truck was found at a different location (The Sunoco of Pooler.) So I then had to drive 15 miles to get the new truck.Scott K.

Gentleman was on his phone the entire time. Sounded like it was family. Again had problems with slow drop off on software. He did offer to help with his iPad but then the software updated the information.Marybeth W.

I did mobile check in and that was great. Had to go into the gas station to get keys and not friendly. Didn't check my ID. Did not have furniture pads and dolly in truck when I got home that I paid for. When I called the place I got truck from he said they didn't have those there. Cab of truck was dirty.teresa Y.

One of the gentlemen at the store is very rude. He is the shortest of the group that works there. I frequent the gas station and have had many unpleasant encounters with him. I asked for a dolly in both my online order and in person pick up. When I returned and said the dolly wasn't in the truck he replied, â€œwell that's your faultâ€. They were very helpful and told them the issues we had and that they needed to check the truck for OIL and cleaning the smokers smell and ashes out.Teresa L.
Our experience was absolutely terrible. The order information said we would get a call by 6pm the night before telling us where the truck will be. Never got a call. Finally got a text from uhaul with the location. Upon arrival to the truck, the â€œdealerâ€ couldn't find the reservation and their system was down, plus they couldn't get ahold of anyone via the allegedly 24/7 number. We sat there for an hour trying to figure this out when we should have been moving and were paying movers to stand around too. This is asinine and a horrible experience. I will never use uhaul again and strongly encourage everyone to avoid uhaul and save yourself from this massive head ache. Customer service just said â€œsorry your truck wasn't guaranteedâ€ so it wasn't a breach of contract.Wayne W.

Before I got into this vehicle, I was given the key from the store attendant and â€œI aloneâ€ visually inspected the exterior of the vehicle for damage before driving. I used the vehicle to move some items in the same area driving less than 8 miles the entire trip. I did not drink or buy any beverage while renting this vehicle but when I returned the vehicle to this location the same attendant attempted to chastise me about an empty drink bottle left in the truck. I simply stated that the bottle was not mine and didn't get there during my rental and was basically called a liar and told I needed to clean after myself. I again stated that it was indeed â€œnot my bottleâ€ and he needs to watch how he talks to customers that patronize his business. The attendant then attempted to threaten me with additional charges due to dirt being in the vehicle not knowing that during the duration of my rental that I basically loaded the vehicle from the outside. I only got into the rear once. I will never rent from this location again and I have never been disrespected like this at any business in my 36 years. I understand wanting to protect your property but the attendant's customer service skills needs work.Bryan J.

There was a mattress in the back of the truck i rented. It was wrapped partially in plastic with stains that looked like blood. I said something to location. The guy came out took truck to dumpser & disposed of mattress, brought truck back & the plastic was still in back of truck. Sorry gave up & just took truck to complete my move but the truck had not been cleaned. When i returned truck i told the guy the plastic was still in truck because i had no intention of touching it.Jodi K.
I scheduled pickup at a different location only to be told by Uhaul that I could not pick up there (after I arrived). When I arrived at this location (as instructed by Uhaul), the man at the counter told me he would not rent me a truck because "his" trucks are for in town only. I was very disappointed with my rental. I immediately got a message â€œ change oil soonâ€ when I started the van. Also the tires all had different PSI levels. The ride was very bumpy which made me wonder if the shocks were checked. I spoke to an agent before leaving on my trip and she told me that there were no other vans available in the area & that I should get the oil changed & I would be reimbursed. I was on a timeline & I don't feel that it is my responsibility to change the oil. I paid a lot of money for the rental. I will not recommend uhaul to any of my friends. If anything I believe I should get a credit on the rental,Tina L.
