Please clean the trucks! The truck was absolutely filthy especially the windshield that was covered in bug guts and the wiper blades were so wore out they wouldn't even wipe off water much less anything else. It also sounded as if there was no exhaust on it because it was insanely loud for the entire 8 hour drive home. Extremely disappointed in this experience.JAMIEEDWARD B.

The App checking and return experience was very sub-par. I was asked at the time of rental to provide additional ID that I did not have on my person. This could have been done prior to arriving at the site, or at least it could have been mentioned that this might happen. I was almost stranded. On return, the app refused to upload the required picture of the mileage and fuel gauge, so I had to go into the facility and return the vehicle that way.James P.

The specific locations were wonderful to deal with... Very informative and friendly. What was unnerving about the entire process was the fact that your reservation was "guaranteed" but it wasn't guaranteed at the location that you set it up at. There's a lot of moving parts with organizing a move and learning the day before that now you've been rerouted to pick up your truck at another location ... potentially several miles away...made the experience stressful. The people at the rental locations as well as the traffic department down in Georgia that I spoke with were absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very pleasant, and courteous. But saying that your reservation is guaranteed but having it potentially moved to a different location for pickup at the last minute made renting from U-Haul stressful.JAMES M.

It is a gas station and they were not helpful on process, can in presented paperwork, no parking, did not like where I parked had to make a point when they moved it did not receive any paperwork back was told I would get an email. It was an okay location but not as welcoming as the pickup location.John G.

What I would do is have the truck we rented 3 weeks ago available on the day and location we requested. Spent well over 2 hours on hold with U-Haul to try and find a truck that wasn't over an hour away. These locations were fine however overall U-Haul completely dropped the ball on a rental that was done well in advance,Maureen M.
My original reservation was canceled by Uhaul and transferred to another location that was in an entirely different town costing me much more mileage. It was impossible to speak to anyone at both the locations I had for pick up and the one for drop off. There were no key drop off or pick up boxes at any of the locations. And I had to wait over an hour on the phone to speak to a uhaul rep only to be asked to confirm and set up my uhaul pick which is the entire point of making a reservation in the first place. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a uhaul company and ended up costing 75 $more than the original price I was given without any compensation for the hours and inconvenience uhaul cost me.Christine C.

Staff was friendly but also operating a separate business so be patient. Truck was clean and conveniently located. My only remark is about the Uhaul operation (specific to Uhaul I believe, not this rental location) - it would be nice if we're able to return the truck early and not have to pay the full rental amount.KATHLEEN P.

I rented the uhaul. I was told its been given with a full tank. my bad that i did not look at the needle when we took it. when we returned the truck we stop the gas station on site and filled the gas tank till the nosle rejected gas. we noticed the needle not showing to full. we went into the store to return the truck and mentioned about the needle issue. The response was 'DONT TRY THAT NUMBER ON US' - the lady rudely responded to go fill the tank and come back. we forced the lady to come with us and see whats going on. she also saw the tank was full. she said her job is to make sure the needle is full. IF WE HAD A PROBLEM TAKE THE UHAUL AND RETURN AT ANOTHER LOCATION.. we requested the manager to come in - he said SUNNY HAS DECIDED NOT TO ACCCEPT THE TRUCK BACK AT THIS LOCATION AND ASKED US TO LEAVE WITH THE TRUCK They were the rudest people. do not know how to speak proper english and arguing and harassing the customer asking us to pay for gas used and not play games. what the hell on earth was that and where do these people come from. they are a disgrace to uhaul. i think the tank needle is purpously been tampered so they can take money from customer like this. i was over charged and need a refund. we even showed him the receipt for the gas we put and also showed the manager who himself tried to put gas and found the gas was full - but the arrogant idiot still not want to accept that coz people were watching the live rip off from uhaul store in day light absolutely ridiculous and un acceptable. we need the refund for the gas charges.Sajan C.

For customer service it's really messed up that the people you're dealing with don't even speak English. It was frustrating and I was there for an extra 30 minutes trying to get them to understand how to check the vehicle in. U haul needs to adapt the policy that people need to know how to speak English to deal with U-Haul customers.KENNETH C.

I ordered a 21 foot truck. That size was not available at the location. They wanted me to drive to another location and would not pay for the mileage. I had to settle for a truck larger than I needed, and paid the extra plus I paid for the fuel because I didn't feel comfortable trying to drive a 26 foot truck.William C.

My vehicle that was assigned to me was disgusting, I called and made a complaint with U-Haul directly. There was not only a stinch of marijuana there was actual marijuana on the seats, and floorboards. I pointed it out to the owners of the Sunoco store. Nothing was done. When I came in to pay my bill I was floored that I was being billed in full. I feel like putting customers in vehicles that have illegal substances on board is a very bad practice. If I was pulled over and arrested for an illegal substance, that I not only called U-Haul about, I also brought it to the owners attention, it would have been very bad. I didn't have time. To argue. With anyone I had already been led to believe the truck was at my desired location. Which it wasn't it was in. A different town altogether, then the marijuana incident. I'm lucky. I have gotten anything done. I was charged 75 and quoted 35 plus mileage.I didn't drive 80 miles. Starting to feel like U-Haul is a racket designed to not only put customers livelihood in danger but to squeeze us for every red cent. Please contact me back regarding this fiascoDana B.

The online reservation process would benefit from an easier, more intuitive flow with a smartphone. On my phone I couldn't step out of my reservation screen to upload photos of my DL. I had to just wait to complete my check-in at the station.SAMMIE F.

Very poor customer service. The service guy was rude and yelled at me. He over charged me because he gave me a quote for 0,76 $ a mile but charged me 0,99 $. He was suppose refund me 3,00 $ for not going over my miles but he charged me 4,25 $ for gas after I put 3,50 $ in the tank. He told if I have an issue you can take it up with uhaul.Nina T.
