The whole experience was horrible. I was given a truck that was supposed to be one way and was told after everything was loaded and I was half way to my destination that I needed to bring it back that they made a mistake and gave me the wrong truck. The truck wasn't cleaned prior to my use but the transaction was easy with no hassle.katherine H.
The person at the store was not overly helpful. When I completed the transaction, he gave me the key and that was it! We had to walk around and look at all the trucks to try to figure out which one was the one I rented. He had no other customers at the time he was just disinterested in doing anything but the bare minimum. And, his store was not clean at all.Laura R.
Overall a not great experience unfortunately. It was less with the specific location but Uhaul overall. I had my location changed last minute due to my original location not having the equipment I requested. The new location was a bit out of our way. We also had organized everything to be contactless but this was changed with the new location and we were not informed. Was passed between many representatives just trying to confirm how I would be receiving the keys, if it would be a code to one of the outside boxes, or in the convenience store. Eventually was told to just figure it out with the guy inside, the interaction wasn't that great but I can't blame the guy I'm sure he deals with this a lot since the information and communication gap came from the customer support and Uhaul website side of things. Finally we got the keys, but when we checked the truck none of the equipment we requested was there. So I had to call again, was transferred between 3 more representatives and was eventually given the told I can just go to a different location to get what we needed. We were already running late by now so I just decided to cancel the equipment and get a refund on those items. They did this quickly and easily which in grateful for. I was honestly quite surprised and a bit disappointed at the experience, many things were just more complicated than they needed to be over fairly simple questions. But the truck worked fine and the drop off afterwards was easy and that's all I really needed.Jordan H.

The guy was on the phone with what appeared to be a personal phone call during the entire check in process. The vehicle was filthy inside and out. I had to clean it before I could use it. The return was a lot more pleasant but could have been easier if the app worked.Matthew P.
The pick up truck that I reserved was not available when I arrived to pick it up and the truck that was given to me was dirty and smelled like cigarettes so bad I couldn't even turn on the a/c and put the windows up. It was just terrible and I'll never use that location againSamantha L.

Location was not setup to work with on line check. Took an hour to cancel on line order and redo in store while on phone support entire time.bobby K.
His Customer service was not acceptable and to say he was rude is an understatement ,I have never had a bad experience with UHaul until this time ,very disappointed . I will not recommend this location . He Failed to informed me that he would not be available on Sunday, so he decided to charge me for an additional day .Again no customer service skills and very unhappy.He did not do the walk around fo ensure the vehicle was ok.ETC....BENITO S.
The clerk, md Islam, was rude and the location was filthy. He would not give me a receipt, overcharged me and signed the contract WITHOUT my permission. He told me to get out of the way so he could handle his other customers. NEVER rent or return to this location... it is unsafe and not professional in any way.Lura W.
I really object about doing this as a phone app. I will likely not rent from U-Haul again because of the ridiculous amount of time it took ME to rent a van for a few hours. This includes the time to work through your website, then at the store taking pictures of my drivers license, etc. It is not for me.Ron S.

the van was not very clean. it could have used a wipe down on the inside. the out side needed a wash. I could barely understand the clerk and his directions to return van were nonexistent. i had to figure it out on my own. wasted 25 min. on the return.Angelo P.

They didn't have a vehicle ready for me so I had to drive to another location that was 10 miles away from my home so I had to by more miles because i went to a fatter storeJulio L.

No assistance from the clerk in the convenience store as the online app was not letting me get to the screens I needed. Plus the online app asked me to scan license which I did during order. Very difficult when you are in a parking lot in a rain storm. You need a better solution of automated pickup. Finally I was told by the UHaul Rep who called to change the location of pickup to this one, someone would be available at 400p to assist. Not true! The clerk said they stopped providing service for pick up at 300p.Jeffery S.

The market was gross and I would not recommend picking up from this location. The truck was very filthy (pic sent on original survey when I picked up the truck) and was filled with Ants. I drove from Florida to Kentucky with ants all over the truck cabin. This was not a good experience.Ryan B.

The location was awful. It's like an mini mart but smelled so bad and bugs were biting us. He didn't know what he was doing. Out location was not that one originally and that was an inconvenience in itself. Then the location he set me off to drop off was further away than what we originally selected. We ordered a bitch to tow a car and he couldn't even tell which one we were to take. I had to figure it out for him. It was not a smooth transition at all.CYNTHIA C.

My complaint is with Uhaul Customer Service. Your service representatives my each step of my journey more difficult. They first told me I could pick up a truck at my preferred location, then changed it to a different one. I was on the road and did not notice the email, and showed up at the wrong location. Then, the wrong drop-off location was put on the ticket and I had to again spend an extra half hour on the phone to have the drop-off location corrected. Go back and listen to the audio of the initial calls, I was very clear about everything and your reps did not follow simple requests. Terrible service.Daniel M.

YOU NEED TO HAVE THE PICKUP LOCATION PROVIDE A RECEIPT AT THE TIME OF PICKUP! I STILL DO NOT HAVE A RECEIPT FROM THE PICKUP THEY SAID I WOULD GET ONE ONLINE AND IN MY EMAIL AFTER I ASK FOR A RECEIPT. The online check in was not letting me finish. I was at my appointment on time. Couldn't complete the confirmation, not even with the chat support person, or the customer service rep. Horrible!!!! On top of that the owner of the place told me that he could NOT help me, that I had to do it online. Frustrating! Then he told me that I was too much, and if I wanted, I could cancel and go to another place. I can't believe what a bad customer service they have there at N. Florida, Tampa location.Elizabeth P.

Rented truck, 5 dozen pads and appliance dolly online. Pickup site did not have pads. Had to drive to Uhaul center. They also did not have enough pads. Took what they had. Called U-Haul customer service. They verbally credited me 20 miles Due to added driving for pads. When I paid final bill online, I saw the miles were not credited, and I was charged over mileage. The credit card keypad was not working and I had to hand my credit card to the clerk. If it is working on his side of the counter why was it not working on my side? The keypad worked for everything else - I was able to answer all questions, etc. However, the clerk had me hand him my drivers license (would not allow me to swipe it) and my credit card (again, told me I had to give it to him).MICHAEL T.

The return 24/7 is terrible. I tried to pick up a truck at another location because I wanted to pick it up early. After about 15 pictures of me, the truck, my drivers license I had to all a 800 number to find a place that was open that early. I wasted a least one hour taking pictures and â€œtalking with a personâ€ which is texting I had run out of patience. When I returned the truck at 2:30 in the morning I had the same problem. It seems when you take pictures at night it isn't like in the video with beautiful bright sunshine. I will never use this service again until they provide a live person to talk you and a brighter place to take pictures.john H.
The 14,00 $ insurance coverage was never discussed and not authorized, unless this is a mandatory fee I want it to be deducted from my bill. Please adviseBrian G.
