teddy bRepresentative did not listen to directions re: coverage on truck requested, did not provide copy of contract. Difference between estimated amount and final amount was substantial due to overage of estimated mileage beyond requested or necessary.
mark ZUnfortunately when returning the truck we locked the keys in the truck and the owner of this facility was not willing to work with us to get it unlocked. Instead they were quick to leave the bill for a lock smith up to us to deal with, there was no customer service provided by the owner to help meet us half way. The receptionist was more helpful than the owner of the facility than the owner/president. Very disappointed in the ownership of this facility.

Lorraine BI was really frustrated with the service I received at this location. I reserved a 15' moving truck by calling this location, no problem. The issues arose when I arrived to the location. First and foremost, the office faintly stunk of cannabis. It smelled musty and stinky. I stood waiting in the empty office for a few minutes until the woman working at the time (her name is June) entered. She sat down and asked how she could help me. I said I was here to pick up a truck and I gave her the details of the truck plus my reservation number that I got via email. She successfully located my reservation, but then she had no idea what to do from there. She clicked around the screen for a couple minutes trying to figure out how to populate the reservation on her side of the screen, but then she gave up and told me that I needed to download the app and do it myself. I would have preferred to not download yet another app, but I did it because I was already sensing that this lady didn't know very much about what she was doing on the computer. I downloaded the app, punched in my reservation number, and then I was immediately instructed by the app to photograph my driver's license. This made me tremendously frustrated because I saw no reason for U-Haul to possess a photo of the front and back of my ID. I asked June if I could simply give her my driver's license number, but she told me that there was no other way but to photograph my ID. I insisted again asking if I could bypass this photographing step, and she laughed and told me, "Ah, don't you know that privacy doesn't exist anymore? They know it all." This comment infuriated me even more. Not only is the comment in poor taste and unprofessional, but I was literally looking at her screen and I saw a place where she could just type in my ID number. So, I succumbed and took two perfectly clear photos, front and back, of my ID on the U-Haul app. When I clicked the "Save" or "Complete Reservation" button at the bottom of the screen, the app yielded an error. I can't remember what the error was, but it didn't seem to like my photos. "Okay," I thought to myself. "Take a deep breath. Just take another photos and move on." So, I did. I took another two perfectly clear photos of the front and back of my ID. Again, another error. I try for a third time. Again, another error. June was perfectly distracted with something else while I was struggling with all this. I try for a fourth and fifth time until I share with June that I am terribly frustrated because the app keeps yielding an error when I try and upload my photos. She looks at me like she has absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. She offers no type of suggestions or advice for me. At this point, I have been at the U-Haul office for twenty minutes trying to get my rental truck. Desperately annoyed, I say to June, "Okay, maybe there's something going on at your end of this. Can you refresh your page or something?" So, she takes about ten seconds to locate the refresh button and clicks refresh. "A HA!" she exclaims. "Okay, I see your two ID photos on my end." In my head, I'm thinking, "Thank God." But then she asks me four questions that were easily the most infuriating part of this entire experience: "What's your driver's license number? When is your birthday? What's your home address? What's the expiration date of your ID?" I was absolutely livid about this because I would figure that U-Haul, in asking me to photograph my own ID, would have software that would automatically extract the information that June asked me about. But no, U-Haul asked me to take a photograph of my ID just so that I could tell the U-Haul employee the exact same information that's on my ID. Absolutely infuriating. I have no idea what U-Haul is doing with my ID, where it's being stored, how good their data security is... I simply answered all of her questions patiently, then hand her my credit card, then drive home with my stupid U-Haul. The story doesn't end here, though... I get an alert from my iPhone two days after downloading the app that U-Haul has been tracking my location and recorded 21 different locations that I've been at during the past 48 hours. I immediately deleted the app and decided that I will literally never do business with U-Haul again. This was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time... June was completely clueless about how to help me with anything digital, plus I had my personal identification documented and then I had to read it back to her so she could type it into her system! I hope that U-Haul gets some AI software that can read text from PDF images... If you're going to ask me to photograph my ID, at least automatically extract all the information you need so you don't inconvenience me to read aloud the text on my ID. Secondly, I hope that June can get some one-on-one training about what's going on with the U-Haul software she uses every day; She literally had no idea how to help me. Thirdly, I hope this office gets some better ventilation because it stunk and so did my experience there.

JOHN HI was instructed/ asked to refill the fuel tank back to the point at which I received it. I filled it more than what was used and I was still charged $16 for fuel. U-haul just stole $16 from my credit card.

dawn LBetter gas mileage would be awesome. I went 9 miles and got charged for 3 gallons of gas. Chart said it would be approximately 10 minutes to the gallon..... Everything else was great!
Mary SThe most frustrating part of renting from this location is the gas tank wasn't full. That makes it challenging to know how much gas to put in. It had less than 1/2 tank when I picked it up. I returned it without putting gas in it because I didn't want to over fill it. It's irritating

Arul Mhen I picked up the truck, I was told there was a loose gas cap warning on the dash and to disregard it. However, when I went to fill it up, the gas tank started leaking fuel. I estimate I wasted over $30 worth of fuel. I told the staff about this when I returned the truck and no effort was made to compensate me for the fuel.

Cheolou GThe truckwe rented was way too long in the tooth. 154 000 miles and as we drove it we were extremely concerned that it wouldn't even make the trip down to Eugene and back. The engine was missing badly and chugging all the way down and back. And finally, this was a very light load for us to drive down but in the 230 mile trip we had to use over 26 gallons of gas; that's less than 9 miles to the gallon. A more modern truck would be much appreciated.

Russell SI was given a uhaul that was located at the worst position. Had a lot of trouble driving the vehicle out and putting it back in. Same truck was available at a better parked position. I was not given any written contract listing the milage and fuel level. Had a verbal about the fuel level which matched the vehicle, but in case there was any discrepancy, I had no proof to show. I rented the truck for two days, however was done in a day, but I had to return the truck after hours. I called in the afternoon and was told that I can return the truck on the first day after hours and I will be charged for one day + convenience fee (20$). I returned the vehicle at 7pm. But the next day, I was charged for two days (was not charged convenience fee). the return time showed 11 AM of the second day. When I called and explained the situation, the first thing the woman on the phone said that she cannot do anything, I have to contact uhaul, even though they were the ones who input the wrong time. As other reviews have mentioned, this people are not very good at their job. I also noticed that many of the recent low star reviews got removed from google

Danny MDidn't realize there was a location so close to me. Woman at the counter was courteous and efficient. When I returned the truck, she was out for an office errand, so I had to wait a little bit. But the sky was blue, there was a warm breeze in the shade, and the bees were buzzing, so life was good. She offered me an extra candy bar from the dish on the counter to make up for being out. No complaints.
