Overall experience great. They called the day after I made the reservation to let me know the size I ordered wouldn't be available instead of the day I picked it up. I appreciated that because it showed true professionalism and courtesy to the customer.

Trying to do an after-hours turn-in was the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my entire life. Zero stars.
Tristan D.The young men that helped me were very nice but the truck that I received was a mess. Of course I took pics but it smelled like smoke, they're were ashes all over the dash, on the window and in the compartment under the radio and other controls. For someone that has severe allergies and smoke bothers them, that was a horrible experience but I needed the truck at that time. I probably won't use that particular site anymore or refer them. Customer service was A1 but they must do better with the upkeep of their vehicles. My eyes are still burning two days later.

rosa M.I had a guaranteed reservation for 12pm plus I had to drive 45 minutes away. Luckily I called before I was on my way, the truck was not at my location which push my moving plans behind. The location called me at 2:50pm and they closed at 4:00pm so I had to rush to get the truck before they closed. Terrible experience!

chris C.The agency computer equipment is very OUT dated, it not compatible with 2020 software. On the Uhaul site the computer refuse to add a point of contact to drop off (clarkston GA) the agent took 30 minutes to assist ( only on the phone ) there was no customers in the office at the time. Please check why in uhaul.com you have a option to choose (insurance fee) $26 or $56). The drop off point the site was closed. Waited 1 hour never open. In the mean time I had to call uhaul 3 times to what to do(no drop BOX). After speaking to the last uhaul representative HE finally check with a supervisor to find another drop off site. Which mean we had to use the gas to get too. I deserve some kind of credit for Unprofessional service.

Christin C.I rent from uhaul often, and am always happy with the service, however this experience was exceptional, MEGAN* from your NC office was very helpful, and kind, my van that I tow with, was recently in the shop, and experienced a major problem half way through the trip, causing us to leave a vehicle, and return home., MEGAN went out of her way to find a FAIR solution , she is and outstanding customer service rep and an asset to your company. Matthew K.I waited 4 hours to get a truck after having to drive 20 miles out the way to get it. Uhaul gave me an extra 50 miles but I lost my movers do to the time constaint. In turn I had to make 2 trips on a one way. That's an extra 90 miles. The guy that was over the Uhaul portion of the business acted like he didnt want to make the necessary calls to trafffic to get the 15 footer and auto transport cleared. They acted like they were super busy on the oil changing station, but on the contrary there were only 3 vehicles that pulled up the entire time I was there, not to mention they had 4 people on staff.

Margorie G.When making my reservation, I chose a pick-up location two blocks from where I live. Pick-up location was changed last minute, not a big deal, these things happen, perhaps someone kept the trailer longer than necessary. No problem. The pick-up was a little farther from the house, but still within my town and not far at all from my home. The problem here was that the new location was closed for business and a customer cannot self-checkout for a trailer. Via U-Haul chat I was able to change the pick-up location to another business, still within my town, and not far from my house. No apology whatsoever from the person on U-haul chat. The person that I spoke with to rearrange the pick-up was apologetic about my being scheduled to pickup at a place closed for business. I took off work to complete the pick-up and three-hours of time was wasted time going through this process. I made the move with no incident. Fast-forward to Saturday, and drop-off. I scheduled my trailer return-drop-off to a place less than two miles from my new home for the convenience of not having to drive a bouncy trailer all over and through a new, unfamiliar city. I jumped into my vehicle, started the engine, and received a text from U-haul indicating that my drop-off location had been changed to a location, 16-miles from my house. Doesn't sound like far, but that is city miles; 30-minute, one-way drive. Not convenient for me at all. Considerably out of my way. No apologies from U-Haul for the last-minute change either. Thank goodness for the gentleman who owned this business. He was kind, considerate and over-the-top courteous and helpful. U-haul was anything but. More than extremely disappointed with my recent experience with U-haul. I was sent all over the place, as we say here “all over hell and half of Georgiaâ€, with little regard to my time. I feel that for $146 I should have been treated more courteously by U-haul. Still no apologies. U-haul you should be more considerate of your customers.

David G.The entire experience was a calamity of errors I still have not gotten anybody to call me back concerning the original estimate for rental. I've called at least 25 times when I asked to have the phone calls transcribed and or the recorded conversation soon they only send the ones that do not apply. Mysteriously the conversations recorded on Tuesday 16 July have disappeared. They claimed that they were having computer errors that day! Since then I've been charged with damage to the vehicle and since a refund has been made. The exact charge of the damage was not given back in the refund which needs to be explained it's only eight or nine dollars. I request a call to my phone at 703-969-1488 as soon as possible to resolve all of these discrepancies. Rupert Harmon
