Not clean, left weed stuff in our truck, very unsafe & uncomfortable pick up. Will never rent from this location again.

rodney butlerTruck was in poor condition. Ignition was broken and took multiple maneuvers to start the truck. Trucks were snow covered and we had to clean off the license plates to find out which was ours, then we had to clean snow off truck before we could drive it.

ward michaelThis truck was smoked in and ashes/butts in the cab. There was also melted chocolate on the passenger set and passenger floor board. has to get cleaning supplies and clean so i could have a passenger sit in seat. I let the Service Manager know. However I will say Uhaul provides a great service and appreciate the use of the truck. the ramp was great and made moving easy. Merci.

Alan SevartNowhere on the website does it say anything about self service.. I'm 71 and just had hip surgery a few months ago and use a cane. I was told to take the paperwork to the back of the station office and I assumed I gave it to someone there is a house directly behind the trailers so I walked there no one answered the door so I walked back to speak with the attendant and nobody was in the store I walked back and got my phone tried to call UHaul and was sent to get the app. I went back in the store and the attendant said he was in the back room I asked who I was to give the paperwork to and then he said just find the trailer with the corresponding ID number and hook it up I asked him if I could purchase a hitch which they didn't sell so I had to drive to an ACE Hardware store and purchase e hitch when I got back I then realized that tongue was on the ground it was heavy to get up to my truck bumper in fact I was unable to lift it and had to call someone to come assist me. When they got the trailer up on the hitch they went to plug in lights and I have a round 5 prong female end and the trailer was was rectangular with 4 prongs so I walked back into the station and asked to rent or purchase an adapter and was told they didn't carry any type of adapters so I had to go again to ACE in search of a way to legally pull the trailer. This process took me over an hour of my rental time. When I returned the trailer I pulled up to the office so the attendant could inspect the trailer and was told to just back it into a spot behind the station. Each time I have to climb into and out of the truck bed is still painful due to my recent surgery not to speak of walking back and forth previously to even hook up the trailer. I've rented UHaul every time I've ever moved from a location on S. Seneca in Wichita and always had excellent service. In 2001 I rented a truck with a vehicle trailer and drove it to Memphis TN. Both locations I dropped it off at I was given assistance and had excellent customer service I will never use the W. 13th st location again and will certainly never recommend it to anyone that inquires about the location. EMILY WIRTHSAlthough my name was on the contract, my daughter paid for the rental. I was only the driver. She was quoted one price but when we came back in town, we we charged more money. The bad part was that we really had no extra money. After talking with my son, I covered the amount by taking from a bill I needed to pay and he was able to pull from his rent money to cover me. So now my daughter owes me. She was upset because we were quoted a certain amount and charged more. I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have anyway to pay. She did receive a refund for a portion of the added money on the next day. But the whole ordeal was very stressful after a long rushed day of moving my daughter from one city to here in Wichita. I prefer to use the company directly instead of these contract sites. Prior to this episode, I had gone to a contract location at 37th and Arkansas. I had informed my desire to rent a truck that my daughter had inquired about the day before. I was told okay and the Clerk pulled out his computer as if preparing to assist me. I was trying to reach my daughter by phone to let her know I was ready for her to send money. While I'm trying to get through, the Clerk all of a sudden informs me that that can't find the key to the truck. He apologized but I didn't know if he really lost the key or just didn't want to rent the truck to me, because looks like he would have told me that in the when I first asked. So that's why we ended up at the west 13th street location. All in all, it was frustrating at both locations.
Robin DouglasUsing the web portal to rent was one of the worst experiences I have had renting a vehicle and I almost rage quit multiple times during the process it over an hour to pick up the truck. The truck was awful, the controls were touchy, alignment was off, constantly making distressing noises, the ac really did not work, the bed provided nearly zero options for tie downs and generally presented an awful experience. the staff at the Super express was competent and seemed ok though. I will always look for another option before renting from U-Haul again. Have a great day!

Dwayna WhiteNo head light knobs in truck. Could not drive at night and paid for full day. Rained all day and so had to drive limited amount of times because the law here is headlights on while driving in the rain.
David VickI was charged much than i should have been and charged more than once, truck was dented, which was documented. I was told i could keep truck extra day and it was no issues but clearly with my charges, which i will dispute, it was an issue. Poor. Never again will i go to this location. Left a poor view of Uhaul in my eyes
Kyle WarhurstThe manager on duty could not help with any of the connection requirements (light connectors) said he was a hub. We understand but the reluctance to handle our questions, etc.
Tiffany StenetRequested a small van as I was only moving a bedroom set. When I went to pick it up, I was provided a 20 foot van. Way to big and not what I requested. I was refused the smaller van that was on the lot, I was told "it is the same price". I was told that "the paperwork is already done and cannot be changed". Really disappointed in how I was treated, dismissed. I suspect it was cultural but a business needs to treat EVERYONE with respect.
Tammy CoxThey tried to overcharge me and gave me the truck empty on gas and questioned me why there was no gas when I returned it. Not professional at all, I've had much smoother and professional rentals before
