Problems with U-Haul IT systems delayed the rental. Before he could rent it to me, your agent had to spend half an hour on hold waiting to release a truck in U-Haul IT systems that we could clearly see was parked in his lot and available.

The gentleman at the dry cleaning place that got the Uhaul paperwork and vehicle for me was just the sweetest and funniest. Uhaul's site said I can pick up via mobile before opening hours but apparently that's not the case. He was kind enough to call me the day before to let me know not to come before 9. He was super nice, hilarious, and made everything so easy that it makes me want to bring my dry cleaning there now :) was clear about charges and I was in and out no issues

Firstly, the U-Haul truck I was given by this location was in faulty condition. The left signal was broken. People were honking me in the middle of the road while I was changing lanes due to the fact that the signal was not working. This could have been a fatal accident. Secondly, I was charged for a damage fee made to the truck. I did not scrape this truck anywhere. There was no physical damage made to this truck. There was some plastic wrap stuck to the truck, for which I then got charged for. The gentlemen at the dealership did not do a pre-inspection of the truck prior to giving me the keys. Upon return of the truck, he claimed I had damaged it. Could you kindly, refund the total of the truck. Not only was I given a faulty truck, but I was also charged a damage fee. This entire process took an hour and a half while the dealer wrote the report. Thank you, Sunil Sharma

I would suggest putting a sticker prominently on the dash with the full capacity of the fuel tank for the vehicle. That way, if it was clear that the user had to refuel 25% of tank it would be possible to approximately calculate number of litres/gallons etc. Alternatively, this information could be generated in the reservation email but I think a sticker is better solution.

Hi. My husband and I picked up a Uhaul yesterday and we would like to make a complaint about the condition on the inside of the cab. There was a slimey substance on the driver's seat and a really old plate of food on the floor. The whole cab is in very dirty conditions but those were two big issues. We also had to wait 30 minutes for our truck.

Location wasn't open right at 9 as per business hours and pick up time. Other than that, it was a smooth pick up process and the van was well maintained.

They charge on my credit card without my authorization, i have reported to my credit card company as fraud charges. The invoice is completely wrong and does not show anything relevant to my rental agreement.

The vehicle was not what I had asked for I was told by this location and the Woody's location in Oakville the trucks were 4x4,when they were not. As I use these trucks mainly in bad weather I always got you 4x4s for the convenience and safety, had we gotten more snow that evening the truck would have been a waste. Don't enjoy being miss informed won't be using Uhaul anymore

I found this to be an unpleasant experience. Most businesses you can walk in at your convenience. This guy forced a long discussion about exactly when I should show up, and then called me when I was 5 mins. late. Then he took a half hour doing the contract, because he stopped 3 times to service his dry cleaning customers. Then we discovered he'd rented me a truck, not the van I asked for. Nothing resembling an apology was forthcoming. By this time I could not stay to correct the situation. After all that he charged me for 2 days even though I rented exactly 24.5 hours and he was closed Sunday and had no way of knowing when I actually returned it. Why be honest with such a person? Extremely poor service.

Difficult to locate- inadequately signposted. Promised receipt for payment made has not yet been received 24 hours later. Charged excessive for the gasoline. Charges for insurance not explained beforehand.

Get rid of the mobile pick-up option. It was buggy as heck and slowed me down dramatically (I was late to pick up the furniture I was supposed to be getting). When I went into the shop, the clerk got me set and on my way promptly.

For only have the car for a couple of hours the rates are rather high! I would have preferred to have been better notified of how much the final cost was going to be. The website is a bit scattered and I was not truly positive on how much the final bill would be.

Making it clearer that the key box is located in the plaza *next* to where the van is parked (where the lighting store is) would help a bit - I was very confused when I found another U-haul van parked there (someone else's) and thought we had the wrong location. We figured it out quickly enough though and it was fine.

Forced to buy insurance. Told it was mandatory. When I returned the truck was told I had scratched the truck and was responsible. I told him I had not put any scratches and would take up the matter with U haul. Was not given a contract when I rented the truck or shown the vehicle and it’s condition. Was told to pick it up around the back. No walk around was given of the vehicle. The vehicle was not very clean ( neither the passager cabin nor the cargo bay) had looked like it had chalky residue on the inside. It was late in the evening and I did not fuss about the matter when I picked up the vehicle. Asked him how much fuel to put in and the attended hand scratched on a green paper inside the jacket the level of where the fuel gauge stood. I had told the attendant that I was given a contract at Woody road as I had rented frequently from that location. At Woody road they highlight information on how much gas to refill and give you proper service by walking you around the vehicle. He told me they had gone paperless and gave no contract now days. Have not had any problems with uhaul over the years. In my view Was unethical sold insurance and ended up being responsible for damage I did not do ! Very disappointed. Have asked my credit card company to Dispute the charge and reported the incident uhaul after dropping off the truck yesterday. Will never rent from this location and will caution people of this practice. By the way also ended up overfilling the gas as could not tell the movement of the gauge. Ended up putting $25 worth of gas as opposed to $10 to $15. I drove the vehicle for approximately 65 km and found the experience very frustrating. I am en experienced driver 52 years of age with a clean driving record. I look forward to hearing from Uhaul to resolve this matter..

I had a problem getting the key. No information in how I was supposed to find the key. I booked for 7am but I only found the key 8:30. I always had problem when I choose to pickup from a non uhaul main store. I always payed more and always had problem to pick up the truck. But From now on I’ll only pick up from the main store. No dry cleaners, hair cuts stores or whatever, only from main stores.

Not a very clear location. Did not realize the Dry cleaners was the UHaul rental location as well. Need better signage.

You can post the correct opening time for this location on your website. We were told by U-Haul that this location opened at 8:30am which is not correct. We were there at 8:30 and had to wait until 9am which was frustrating and inconvenient.
