I am not sure why a $30. truck rental ended up costing over $228. ridiculous!

Peter R.Moving trucks could be topped off with fuel when picking up, this way it's not a "guessing game" for the customer, when dropping off. All customers would know to drop off their truck with a full fuel level.

Richard L.I'm getting charged for more miles than the ones I actually consumed. More than double. I explained this during the returning process online, and they still made the charge. This is about $200 extra they are charging me. I'm hoping I can get this resolved.

I had to speak with the manager/owner for both touch points. They were helpful, so I feel the issues were not related to them so much as the online tools.

Needs improvement. Kelly and Superior Storage location were great! Appreciated the simplicity of the experience (outside of the app problem - not Superiors issue).
David G.Over all it was a good experience. The truck was ready for us to use at the day and time I set up. But, it took 45 minutes to return the truck because for some reason the photo of the dashboard wouldn't take so we could continue. After logging out and in again, it finally worked. Also, I noticed I was charged for gas on the receipt when I took the truck and filled the tank to where it was when I drove off with it. I hope this will be credited to me.
Beth H.The facility was good and the person helping was great. but I reserved a different location and was informed just two days prior that the truck was no longer available there and that I would now need to drive an additional 40 miles round trip to a different location to pick it up. This added additional time and cost.

MARTY N.Office was closed & no one around due to Covid which has now become the de facto excuse for not working. Turns out it was a storage facility that also handled U-Hauls. Had to call and wait for a call back to get questions answered (took several hours).. Once we connected, Kelly was very helpful but then informed me I might have to drive an hour or two away to get the trailer we had reserved. This is completely unacceptable! In the end, Kelly found us a trailer & had it at their facility on the date & time we had reserved. The trailer's condition was just 'ok' - dents, scratches, not swept out, so we took numerous pics to protect ourselves against getting blamed for the condition. Using a storage facility as a U-Haul location means not having what the customer needs on site, and that U-Haul is not their primary concern. I would never use another site such as this, but search for a genuine U-Haul full-size dealer with staff who know their business. Overall, not a great experience - from complicated online reservations to items in the contract that are hidden to poor customer service at the pick-up and drop-off sites, we'll purchase our own trailer next time, then sell it when we are finished. My husband (who has a private pilot's license) stated that he's rented $200 000 airplanes easier than renting a U-Haul trailer.
Donna H.The online pick-up service child be more user-friendly, especially to get logged in, I set up my account with user name and password ahead of time but it switched my phone number to my wife's and none of my log in worked. It took close to an hour to check out the truck. Once logged in it was OK.

Donald H.Not this not a reflection of the location but two things happened during my rental. 1. They haul website said my truck was not large enough to use the car carrier. Both times I had to call customer service to address this. It is a 2021 F-150. 2. The car carrier I used the left tail lamp is out.
Derek J.It was very difficult to perform the mobile rental. So much information was required (seriously, a copy of my lease agreement???) and it took an hour for us to get it all squared away, meaning we actually got our truck an hour later than scheduled. U-Haul's website kept crashing while the actual office of this storage facility seems to be always closed and the phone number always ended in a voicemail. Next time we will rent from an actual U-Haul location rather than doing the mobile pickup from an affiliate. It's just not worth the hassle.

Nikolas T.They are bad at math! I paid 19,99 for the rental $16 for insurance! Then tax's. I returned the truck on Time full of gas and clean. It should have been $40 - $50!! It turned out to be $104類. I'll be using someone who has better math skills in the future.

Then when I got turned around there was another car there and the area was too small for two vehicles so I had to wait until he figured out how to get his key pull his truck out before I could drop my trailer.
Brent D.I think it's false advertising to say 19,95 because I took one trip to a storage unit with a bed , filled the tank before returning it and it still cost me $49 didn't even have it the entire 3 hours and I didn't drive it over 30 miles I will look for a different method I. June to move my entire storage unit to Arkansas. Uhaul will be my last choice
Kathy N.The local establishment and their staff were fantastic. They essentially saved the day. Online check in and pickup was an absolute disaster. Made a reservation way ahead of time, when I went to get it suddenly tons of additional info, documents, and Work was needed. Never did get that to work, thankfully and individual from the local spot could see in the system that it wasn't working, so they reached out and got everything squared away in minutes. Lost an hour of my life and rental time fighting with U-Haul's awful system.

Wade B.We picked up after hours so did the self check in which was fine, however the truck was parked sandwiched between 2 other trucks with a snow pile on the 1 side (passenger) which made it hard to evaluate the truck for damage and take good pictures. They knew we were coming to pick up at that time and there was another 26 foot truck sitting at the front of the line that would've been able to pull right out without having try to maneuver it around. Poor planning and customer service on the company side in our opinion.

We put our check in the drop box every month & mgmt e-mailed every month that they did not receive the check when it was still in the box. The management sold us a defective lock then insisted on charging us to cut it off. The doors have no weather seals so our belongings got damaged. No one informed us of the 2' set back req'd. The tar in front of the door is higher than the locker floor so the water runs in. No gutters/downspouts or security fence. After we contractually vacated they sent us a late fee notice the 1st of the next month!! THE PLACE SUCKS

Facility was easily accessible for us and we experienced no security issues during our rental time. Our rental duration allowed for a free months rental as a bonus which was nice! We would use this storage facility again and highly recommend .We used the on site u haul also.

I even had her cell phone number, which came in handy one night at 11p when I was struggling with the lock. She even offered to drive over an assist. No national chain would do that! Signing up and moving in was easy. Moving out was even easier. I highly recommend Superior Storage in St. Michael!!
