Timothy FMy location was changed 1 day before the rental despite placing the order 1month in advance. The location took 40 additional minutes to get to and another 160 minutes total between both trips for the person providing me transportation to and from. My online agreement called for having the truck for 4 days. The new pickup location demanded the truck be back the next day. I agreed knowing I would never rent from U Haul again so easy decision.

Miguel BPerson was not accurate about the gas gauge in the vehicle. Had me sign that the gauge "is slightly less than half a tank" without looking at gauge. When I got in the truck I took a picture of the gauge and it showed less than a 1/4 of a tank with 59 miles remaining for the tank. The mileage was accurate as stated on my paperwork. Immediately had to fill the gas tank of the truck.
REBECCA SPeople filling the documents should check the vehicle for actual miles and condition before handing customers the keys, rather than trusting the info in their system and putting the burden on the customer.

latasha wHave someone there that does their job. Answer phone, door. Assist with loading a trailer. Check your equipment before you rent it out. Trailer I got had a tire that was in bad shape, surprised it made it to my destination. Needed trailer for 2 days and got charged for 4 days. Definitely won't ever rent from uhaul again

Percy WGuys were fantastic when I returned the UHaul and process pretty smooth. The location is not the best and there was not much activity in lot - only one other UHaul present and mostly an empty parking lot. The guys who handled drop off were fantastic, though.
David PTried several times to contact agent by phone, during business hours. There is a message, but a message cannot be left. The customer service rep suggested I travel back to the location since no answers the phone. That's ridiculous. I'm supposed leave the comfort of my home because the Uhaul rep won't answer the phone.The next time I need a rental truck I will be sure to actually go to an official Uhaul facility. Will not recommend location 6000 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH.

Aleksandar KI did have a problem using the app. Tried to check in and check out with it. I was able to check in at the office without a problem but when i turned in after the rental, i followed the process to check out and got through it except I couldn't get the lock open to put the keys in the lock box. Had to drop the keys in the normal key drop box

Uwe SWe waited in the office for more than five minutes before someone could help us. There were at least three people working, but they were not in the office.
Norman MThis truck was left absolutely filthy and the pictures in the app did not have any of the damage marked in them. It was very time consuming to have to clean the truck ourselves as well as record all of the scratches, dents, etc.

Lucinda LCouldn't pick up at the location after driving so far to pick up..then the other location i drove to Couldn't rent the truck for oneway..Had to wait till the following day ..this location it was like playing a game had to figure out where the key was placed..this location the doors were locked.. and my dolly was not in the truck

Dale BThe car tire straps were attached to the dolly tangled and the attendant did not attach the dolly to the truck correctly. Avoid this location unless you know how to hitch a trailer yourself.

michael kI rented the truck on 9-11-20, somehow I was, I assume accidentally overcharged 100 dollars , it's now 9-21-20, and I am Still trying to get this situation resolved . No one should have to wait this long for returning of overpayment.
jemetta cI arrived to a locked building at 3:30 exactly on time. I rang the door bell twice and called customer service twice. Closer to or after 4pm a man opened the door and from that point on he was polite, helpful and professional. His excuse for not opening the door at my check in time was, "I was in the back."

Erol DI live 2 miles, 5 minutes from the Strongsville U Haul pickup facility which is where I made the reservation. HOWEVER, I had to drive to downtown Cleveland, over 20 miles one way and 30 minutes out of the way in order to pickup the truck. VERY INCONVENIENT! . I asked if we could receive even a small discount and we were denied. VERY DISPLEASED!
