The blankets I ordered were not there. The customer service guy was really rude! He kept asking for my drivers license when I was not the driver. Kept asking where the driver was and I told him he would be here soon. He walked away from us and did not say thank you for dealing with us. HE JUST WALJED AWAY AND STARTED TO SERVE ANOTHER CUSTOMER. WE WERE NOT AWARE HE EVEN FINISHED WITH US. WE JUST STOOD THERE FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES UNAWARE OUR TRANSACTION WAS COMPLETED. He had no personality! Not a very nice person or customer oriented.

Was overcharged for insurance I declined multiple times (as clearly shown on the booking online). When I questioned the location about the charge they agreed with me that it was incorrect, but that I had to can the general UHaul phone number. Spent well over an hour on hold before I spoke with anyone on the general line, and then when the UHaul rep phoned the location to confirm the billing mistake they apparently lied and said I requested it in person - I did not. I was never asked about insurance in person. Problem still has not been resolved.

please do not go to this locaiton! you will save not only your money but also your life, just don't go. I have rented a truck from this location going one way to toronto. First, the back truck is frozen, ask them for help, young guys said just kick on the truck( shocking), and the guy forget to put the dolley into the truck before I pick up the truck. Then the battery is dead, so they have to come over and jump start the truck, I was worried about this then been told the Truck has been inspected by U-haul specialist the day before delivery, it must be someone left the light on and killed the battery. If it ever dead again, I should call U-haul instead talking to them. after the Truck started, the engine light came up, now i'm really worried. the young guy told me nothing will happen just drive. If it broken, just call U-haul and they will come fix it. this truck had 3 dead battery during my trip and the service light came up force me to to drive at max 40km/hr to drop off location and it's shaking the shit out of my life. Luis is a good guy to talk to, at least he cared about relationship , others I dont know.

You charged me for two extra days becuase i returned it where i got it and not in another city where the order said., I would drop off there becuase i would be 30 minutes away from my vehicle. Currently in a dispute with Uhaul head office about this.

Tell your customer that you will charge them for fuel and how to avoid this charge. The trick was given to me with an 1/8th of a tank and I returned it with an 1/8th of a tank and I was charged $61.00.

Everything went smoothly and the man who helped us was very polite and professional.

I asked the two guys to come do the inspection particularly for gas and mileage and damage. They both refused stating it would be done in the morning. I voiced that I was concerned about the gas because I just filled up to the 3/8 mark and also took a picture and didn't want to be charged extra and they said "DON"T WORRY we won't charge you extra". They both seemed too preoccupied with cleaning up so they could close (I was there before 6:30pm). As well I confirmed they would be reporting that I brought it back on time. The guy stated he would close it off before 24 hours was up and I had to remind him that I was returning the vehicle at 6:30 pm when it was required by 9am next day and I didn't want it too be reported late. I could not get a receipt either. Today I am being charged for additional gas when I have a picture proving as well as my son who was with me when I added gas to be at the 3/8ths amount I picked up at. Such poor customer service when they wouldn't even come so if there was a concern I could have gone back to Petro next door and added gas again.

Over charged on the credit card. I need to get back my money .? I contacted the head office. They told me to contact you to settle the account error . Please look into this matter and return the over charged money back. I filled the full glass. Returned the vehicle good shape.

The trunk of the truck was covered in dust and debris we had to sweep it out so as not to get our belongings filthy. There were damages on the truck that were not logged (or marked by an X) and customers should not be responsible for logging these outstanding damages in your system through pictures when we are already on a time crunch with time limits on rentals.

I did not choose SafeMove but you charged me $15 anyway and it's too confusing to know how much fuel to put in the vehicle. I gassed it up before returning but you charged me again for fuel so it's kind of hard to budget with these surprise fees. We won't be renting U-Haul again sorry but I need to know what I'm spending. Especially in these covid times when I've lost my job.

I definitely can't wait to rent another Uhaul as SO simple and affordable. When you move, it's expensive enough and UHaul elevated some of that stress! Thank you again.

The guys at the pickup place were so helpful as I had problems with the app, the 1-800 staff were awesome. Truck was in great condition BUT customers are promised the trucks will be disinfected and cleaned in between movers and it was not. The staff at the place said they are not responsible for the U-Haul upkeep. I was very concerned. Thank goodness I had brought my Lysol wipes and disposable gloves because I had to clean the truck. I am older so this was concerning but was in a position that I had no choice because a move had to happen that day.

Terrible. The guys at the pick up location and Austin's and August from your customer service were very polite and as helpful as possible , but no one seemed to know what the heck was going on. I tried the online check in and waited a really long time. I had to call customer service and give my phone to the guy at the counter before I could get the key, half an hour after I arrived. When I returned the truck, I was told I wasn't supposed to have taken it and I need to wait to hear from some district manager to clear up my account. Next time, I'll hire a mule train.

Check in process was awful, called customer service twice and after 20 minutes on hold each was hung up on. The back of the truck was not locked or properly cleaned. The equipment that we requested was not in the van. I had to personally go to the uhaul store (over 20km out of our way, waste of gas and time) to pick up all of the equipment. Totally unacceptable. Wasted over an hour and a half of our moving time. Would not recommend.

Whatever negative reviews you read on the internet, believe them, they're all true. My experience was one big hassle from the cumbersome on-line booking procedure to the pick up of the vehicle, the return and the billing. The people at Pro Oil Change admitted that they're not trained to handle this work. The first bill was for two days when I had the truck for only two hours. The second bill was for one day but showed incorrect mileage. The third bill issued 9 days after the return of the truck was finally correct.

The online booking system is time consuming and painful. It unfortunate for the staff at the pickup/drop off locations to have to deal with annoyed customers because of a finicky system. Staff at both locations we're very pleasant to deal with.

Lines in the main uHaul depot were never particularly long but do they ever move slowly. I attribute it to the complexity of problems being dealt with but if that can be helped at all, awesome!

The customer service that I received after the fact, during the week, was excellent. However, on a Saturday morning when we needed to move our booking had not been processed, the manager was away and had left no instructions, and we spent over an hour on hold to get through to the uhaul customer service line. We lost two hours of time on a moving day, and uhaul did compensate us which I truly appreciate, but I would caution others away from using this pick up location which was not expecting us. The acting manager was very willing to help, but had been left with zero information so he could not finalize our booking or give us keys. We dealt with nice people, but the process is flawed. Completing the online check-in and booking in advance should make life easier, not more complicated.

First off They didn't even know I had anything booked. My name was in their system but he said he was surprised to see me because there wasn't the right truck there for me. He said maybe the right one hadn't been dropped off yet. This was at 9am. I said why don't you rent me the bigger one that is there for the same cost as the one I rented. He said no I would have to call Uhaul and ask. He said that This happens sometimes and uhaul throws them under the bus. So I call uhaul and wait for a service agent. Get someone to talk to and she can't help me but schedules a new rental just to get me in the system again with a smaller truck, different time and different location. She said that someone will call me back that could help me and hopefully get the bigger truck that was sitting in the parking lot for the same price as the one I ordered. I waited until 9:45 for the call then decided to call uhaul back because I had people waiting at my house at 9am to help me move. I didn't really want to sit there any longer for a call that who knows would ever come. So I called customer service back and waited for a rep to answer. Finally the music stopped but no one there. Soooo I hung up and called again and waited again for a rep to answer. Now it's 10am an hour after I was suppose to get the truck. The rep answered and she was great. She hooked me right up with the right person to get the truck that was sitting in the parking lot for the same price as the smaller one that I ordered. Now it is 10:20am. Almost an hour and a half past the 9am pick up time. I went in to pro oil change and everything was in the system and I got the truck. Although The truck wasn't clean in the back at least I got one! That was a Terrible experience. Next time I'll try discount car and truck rental.

The guys at Pro Oil were excellent. When I came in to get my truck they were busy with several customers there for oil changes/tire service etc. At one point (as I was being helped), another customer came over, interrupted us, and said “You know what? I changed my mind. Go ahead and do everything .” They were very professional and ‘rolled with the punches.'

necessary ppl were not there at time of pickup, so we had no paperwork verifying things, which meant we could only take it back to that location.....also, there is an unidentified "purchase" for $24.84 charged to my credit card that I did not notice till after I was gone, and as I don't live close by, I sent an inquiry in to you but am still waiting for an explanation of the charge

I would tell the customer not to rent a uhaul. It is very expensive when the sign advertised is $19.95/day that's what it should be. I find that the added miles driven were expensive but the most that I was upset about is that the truck is a gas guzzler. I drove only 40 miles and it sucked the gas out of the truck. Search else where before selecting a uhaul. Oh yea and they charge a $1.00 environmental fee???? What a scam
