The rental experience at the location was great, but the website booking experience was bad. If i wanted to change 1 thing i had to go through the whole booking process again, resulting in an error. Please improve the ux!!

There was a used needle in the front drivers side of the vehicle, which is dangerous and extremely unsanitary, we were lucky we spotted it when we did and didn’t come into contact with it. The vehicle stank as well, it clearly wasn’t cleaned at all before use.

The uhaul on Topaz in Victoria was dreadful. My first greeting from an Asisn male was highly inappropriate. The counger servuce was very slow and my key card did not work and I was not told I needed a lock and I could not soend another hour in line to fix the card and buy a lock as I had a fwrry to catch. The man who showed me the elevator was exceptionalky kind, polite and professional he told me his gtanfas was from India but he was Viv Ctoria born and vred and it showed. So A++ for Vancouver office and a definite F for Victoria Topaz. Thank you for asking

The car smelled so bad. I booked a van for a location closer to my house (walking distance.) Then when I arrived she said that there were no vans/trucks for me to take which was very frustrating. So I called head office and they quickly set one up at a new location which I am very thankful for. But this location was not walking distance and I have to spend $40.00 on a cab to get there and back to pick up / return the u-haul. (Which was not in my budget to do.) Something to fix would be dont let me book a time slot to take a u-haul when there are going to be none available. But after all that it was a good experience we were taken care of well, the lady on the phone was very nice.

Worst customer service experience I’ve had in years. The reception at T and T was angry and confrontational from the start. Had I not already ordered the truck and scheduled help I would have cancelled on the spot

It was all find ; just wish I knew in advance that if I changed the reservation on the date I was to return it (situation changed) that there was going to be a $50.00 fee. I understand I upset the process for a reservation - but I might have made a better plan if I had known that ; otherwise everyone was very understanding !

The behavior of entire company was unprofessional. I was rescheduled to a very far off location. When we got the van, we were not given the copy of the contract that the shop owner said that we should have. I tried to extend my reservation after calling customer service, they were not able to but told me it will cost 26.81$ and did not tell me about any fees other than that. When I went to store to extend, they said it would be additional $50 (which was not mentioned in the contract I received) and I was billed for it. Then the fleet manager - David yelled at me when I tried to reason with him and understand the fees and then was charged at least $70 more than what I was told. The entire experience felt like I was being scammed.

Tom was very unfriendly, and unhelpful. I booked an alternative location and it was changed last minute without my approval! I had to rent a car to get out to this location 15km away from my originally booked location. Also I noticed I was charged 0.99 per km when I booked with another Uhaul the next day with the same 10' truck and only paid 0.69 per km. Is because each franchise can decide their rates? Really not impressed.
