I appreciate the assistance the employees from this pick up place. This rental center was very close to my new apartment and was specifically selected for logistical purposes. They did an accurate and effective job in checking in the truck I rented after hours. At the same time, I am not sure I will be able to use Uhaul ever again. This is because my original contact was changed; I was asked to drive an hour away to pick up a different truck; then I was told that the company needed me to drop off the truck at a location different than my original contract. An agent sent me a text and an email telling me to do this in the middle of my move; I never agreed to it and had no way to honor her request. The dispatch used false and duplicitous language stating she had had a conversation with me, but we did not speak. It is NOT the customer's responsibility to change plans midstream to accommodate the company. If Uhaul is going to use digital communications and artificial intelligence to coordinate business, your company will not make the profits desired nor cultivate the loyalty of returned - and spurned- customers.
Mary CJared was awesome! Very knowledgeable and was very quick helping me out during a dire family emergency. I'd recommend Taylor rental to anyone/everyone!
GARY MThe gentleman at Taylor Rental was very helpful and very kind. He apologized profusely for the app/web issue (see below). I'd choose this location again just because of that alone! There was an issue with the website & app with pickup outside of business hours. The fact that I had to wait an extra hour for this, to call U-Haul and speak to 4 people that didn't help and THEN GET HUNG UP ON was unacceptable.
Alicia CHad a reservation for a trailer at the emira hieghts n.y. location but they were just so rude an nasty that I walked out. Had a similar experience last time and thought it was just a bad day but now I think it is a management problem. I have rented equipment from uhaul many times and have never had a problem with any other location.

David BMy issue wasn't with the agent it was with uhaul it's self. I rented a truck for $29,99 I picked it up around 4 pm then got told have it back by 10 pm well it's $29,99 per day a day is 24 hrs either way the truck got back by 12:30-1:00 am was a lil late but still I paid for a day well uhaul charged me for 2 rentals I think Penske or Ryder is the way to go from now on. They steal your money by charging full rate and not giving you your 24 hrs. Then charge double if a lil late screw uhaul
Robert CI don't/didn't se any place for improvement at this location. The two men I dealt with were professional and on their game with representing U-Haul, and Taylor Rental.
DENNIS GWhen I arrived to pick up the truck the first time there was no truck. Uhaul allowed the previous renter to keep it for an additional day despite my reservations. So I had to delay the closing on my house for a week.
David IComputer was down not able to check in. Forgot to give me the blankets I paid for
James OThey were closed on a Sat. At 2:00 so I just dropped of and then I saw they charged me extra and had to call to get corrected

Patrick CJerry was attentive and really knew his stuff... He even made sure that the trailer was properly attached to our vehicle. Kudos for going the extra mile.
ROBERT KHad a very bad experience with U-Haul...first our truck that we reserved DAYS in advance was not there when it came time for me to pick up so I had to drive over 40 Miles OUT Of the way to get a different truck which added over 80 extra miles that I had to pay 89cents per mile for because of no fault of my own...the trucks tires kept losing air, and the check engine light was coming on, I returned the truck a full day in advance but was still charged for an extra day that I did NOT have the truck because they never put into the computer that I returned it until the next day...horrible company that seems to profit off from other people's misfortune and likes to rip people off.
Courtny BRude, abrupt, difficult to contact, very few opening hours to communicate, but uhaul online services were even worse. And getting to talk with an agent, was impossible after many tries and 2 hpur telephone wait. Call back didn't work, was just another bot that announced another 52 minute wait. I just wanted to communicate that I wanted the van for 2 extra days to unload.

David MThe U-Haul I had had weather stripping( the black stuff in between door and windows, falling apart...so the drive was extremely noisy and had wind buffeting me the entire time
Frederick HI reserved equipment 3 weeks in advance only for your company to cancle on me 2 days prior to my move due to the lack of equipment. Because of your very unprofessional actions it caused my move cost to increase $1200.00.

Rick ONothing. The man that I talked and met with when renting the U-haul was great. Very nice, friendly, informative, helpful, and even gave me helpful advice when I was stressed about moving. He really was a pleasure to meet and made the process very easy. Customer service like that is hard to come by nowadays.
Jessica HOrdered the truck but it was available in a different location. This made me spent almost double the amount of money for milage than I would have. And I didn't get a notification that it was in a different location until the day before.
