I rented a van but had to drive a truck. Was not notified that a van wasn’t available. They did only charge me the van price which was excellent but I feel they should let you know. Also the truck was full of leaves and all the blankets were all over the floor. I swept it and folded blankets when I was done. No biggie. I’ve used this location before and I def will again. They are really nice.

I returned my UHAUL after having it for less than 24 hours, cleaned and gas filled all the way. I then received an invoice for over $400 saying it wasn’t returned for days and that we were charged for the moving blankets and the dolley that were in the UHAUL and were not told that we would be charged for. The owner John stated we were charged for everything that we took but of course did not tell us until after I called him upset that our bill was over $400. Very unsatisfactory and will NEVER be using UHAUL EVER AGAIN AND WILL REFER Friends and family elsewhere. Terrible experience and service, probably the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

The guys in Camillus are great! They alerted me that the advertised length of the U-Haul truck is incorrect. The 15' truck that I reserved only has about 12' of length measured at the floor. I changed to a 20' truck which has about 17' of length at the floor and that did the job I needed. U-Haul should change their advertised truck length to real dimensions.

Customer service at the location was great. Uhaul customer service was NOT. Made reservation a week ahead of time. Set pickup for 6am in the major city of Syracuse, NY. Got a call less than 48 hours before the reservation time telling me it wouldn't be available until 12 noon and at a completely different location in the middle of nowhere. I stated this was unacceptable as we had booked movers starting 630am. Was told there was a truck available an hour away at 10am. Yet again, unacceptable as we had movers booked at 630am. Again, was told there was nothing else they could do. Called the pickup location the day of the reservation to get a status on maybe an early return of the truck. Was told the person who currently had it rented out was due back at 9am. Called back closer to 9am and found that the person was unreachable and had not returned the vehicle. Called again after 11am to find that they expected the truck back at 12 noon. Showed up at 1145am to be told that the person renting the truck was "flakey" and they weren't sure it would be back at 12. Called the area scheduling manager to explain the situation and request we be able to take one of the available 20' trucks and be given unlimited mileage to accommodate the lack of an adequate truck. The woman was rude and HUNG UP ON ME. We began trying to rent a 20' directly from the location but they could not provide unlimited mileage. During this discussion the 26 truck with the "flakey" customer finally arrived back. By this time it was after 1pm. We finally left the location at 130pm, 7.5 hours after the time of our initial reservation. We were on the hook for several of those hours with movers and lost that money. I expect a full refund.
