I went in to get a 15' truck paid and got the cjeck in lady who stated ot has 3/4 tank of gas went to the truck and it had 0 gas and wouldnt start.I told her she charged my card anouther 34,85 as a deposit for a 10 ' truck and I told her wth for its a smaller truck . I told her I wold need about 200 miles because Now I would have to make more trips from taylor mi to hazel park to move my things. She assured me she put 200 miles and one again said it had 1/2 tank of gas. Ot had 1/4 of a tank of gas and she tried to cjarge me gor 4 days after for the extra gas and miles I refused the 19,58 charge and just todat she tried to charge my card 23,58 I regused that charge. This place is scammers and frauds. 178,58 for a 10 ' truck. Hell no! I want my 34,58 back dont use this Uhaul period

Khalid FayyazWe came after hours, so we can't comment on the staff. But the truck was dirty, still trash in it from the prior customer. The tire light kept coming on - I went to a true Uhaul dealer who did help reduce the over inflation in the back tires, but the light came back on an hour later. I was told I could not return the truck to this dealer even with concerns for my safety without incurring a huge fee even though it was local. The truck seat was very hard to move and recline - I would not rent a Chevy one again. The day before I tried to get a Ford model at another Uhaul/storage location - but after paying for it discovered it also had a flat tire and the location was like - sorry we don't have a compressor. So we left that van there. And got the Chevy at another location with the help of the local Director (?), Ryan? Overall - pretty disappointing. It was nice to be able to pick up and drop off the vehicle after business hours - that was fantastic. I would rent from Uhaul again - but these recent experiences were disappointing.

Would be nice if I could click on the pick and it would get big on my phone, also the ones I take myself. The truck worked decent but I've been in nicely uhaul trucks previously.

Jeff CloseI like the staff very much at this location, the truck was clean but ran terrible and why I gave average rating the staff excellent but equipment terrible. Because of limited one truck snd not running well U would not recommend this location despite being super nice. The truck needs servicing and I felt unsafe because in Drive it runs like in first snd drags. For sure something is wrong with the transmission. The breaks are so bad have to push to floor to stop. I could have used the truck longer but felt unsafe to use for the fill 24 hours. The truck was clean and Crysta is very nice to with with but this truck had almost 100k mikes and it and runs like it had not been properly serviced in years. I want an adjustment because of the way it drove I did not use next early morning to finish moving items. Have to make arrangements to use a different truck to finish the move. I want an adjustment as the value was not there. Please call 248-390-9558 to discuss . This was the only truck on property and had workers arranged and deadline today to be moved., would not rent this truck again. Susan Nest
susan nestThe uhaul mobile pickup is a joke! Spent 30+ minutes processes. Zero response to multiple chat windows requests on status. Gave up on the uhaul customer service answering the phone after 30+ minutes waiting and multiple calls. A terrible mobile experience by uhaul. Fix it!

At return it wouldn't pick up my location. 30 minutes later after talking to numerous inept uhaul customer service reps, finally able to complete. Huge pain in my ass. I'll seek another company next move.

Had to call Ryan, who was a great help throughout the process and was able to release the keys for us. Ryan was who was able to trouble shoot many issues. He is an incredible asset to your company.
Justin HammerleApp would not work properly for pick up. After trying on 2 differnt phones and contacting the help line. We had to go into the store to pick up, which defeats the purpose of trying to minimize contact. The van we were assigned had garbage on the floor and left over drywall dust in the back. I would of hoped U-Haul had disenfecting protocols in place. We were not about to go back in the store and ask for a differt van and have to go though the whole process again.

Nicholas GreenwellUnable to access key in lock box and support number said it was after hours. The parking lot is unsafe as there is hardly any light available to see. I then was on hold for 40 min with support to try to get help when I got home. There advice was to remotely return a vehicle I didn't use and they could not help me with compensation for a free rental going forward for all my time spent trying to get the van and my 40 min wait for help. This is my first unpleasant experience with UHaul. I would love a free rental to make this right. Kim Munro

When I got to the location and signed into the website on my phone, THEN I received a message that my account was "not eligible" for the mobile pickup option, and I needed to go inside and wait in line and complete my rental with the person inside. It didn't bother me too much to have to do that, the most annoying part was not knowing ahead of time that I would need to do that. The other annoying part was not knowing why. I would suggest for other customers in the future, U-haul should notify the customer ahead of time and provide a reason that the mobile pickup option is not available.

Cody RamseyPlease make sure the checking in process goes a lot more smoothly! Took over 30 minutes to get my key from start to finish! The rep states that the whole U Haul system was running 'extremely slow' that day of 09/28/2019. In addition the gas level was not accurate that was checked as being available. Plus the rep stated that I had to purchase U HAUL auto insurance due to my own USAA Auto car insurance would have to re-imburse me after I paid any auto damages if involved in a car accident??? That my car insurance would not first be billed for any claim prior to any money being paid by me first??

I was going by GPS directions and when it said I was at my location, I was expecting to see a U-haul sign of some kind. I drive past a couple times not knowing where to stop so I had to turn around on a side street and call the store for better directions. Everything else went great.
