My preferred pick up location was 2 miles from my house. I received a call from U-Haul the night before I needed to pick up my vehicle and was told I needed to Drive to KANSAS to pick up my U-haul. I had movers scheduled and paid for at 10:30am and because I had to drive 3 hours to KANSAS and 3 hours back I was not able to get back until 4:30pm. I paid people to sit and do nothing and I wasted my own time! U-Haul did not pay for my additional expense to get the truck. It cost me about $200 in fuel to drive a separate car there and back and then drive the truck the additional miles which was not a planned expense. U-Haul refused to help me with this added cost. What is the point of telling you my preferred location if you send me to KANSAS! Had U-Haul been up-front with me while booking my reservation and told me this is where I needed to go I could have planned for this, but of course U-Haul did not tell me until 18 hours before I needed to pick up the truck. This is the last time I ever use U-Haul or ever recommend U-Haul to anyone. I will make sure anyone I talk to about moving in or out of state knows not to choose U-Haul. If U-Haul were to contact me and refund me a portion of my money for this inconvenience I might reconsider, but until then I will make sure everyone knows how terrible their service is.

Very flexible as a drop off location, very professional. BUT - the fuel gauge (which is barely an inch long, and is sectioned in to quarters, not eighths and definitely not sixteenths) read 5/8 tank when I dropped it off, the same amount as when I picked it up. But the mock fuel gauge show on my receipt is 3 times that long, and the Drop Off personnel read the gauge as 1/16th less than that. Not a big deal, but we were charged $21 more for fuel, and again, visually, the fuel gauge read 5/8 when we dropped it off. If U-Haul is going to be so particular about the exact amount of fuel left in the truck tank, it needs to have a MUCH larger fuel gauge that indicates eighth and sixteenth level marks.

We had to wait over 35 minutes to get our rental truck. The cashier had a car full of groceries to put away in his store. We brought the truck back the next day which was a full day early. We have not been refunded that day on our bank account. Also we were under the 200 miles by about approximately 25 miles and no refund there either.

Lady working was not the owner and knew nothing of how to do this. He should probably explain it to his employees. I was originally going to pick up here, but couldn't get a call back from owner

The lady that checked me out didn't know much and couldn't find my order online and gave me another truck. Price reflected online was way too low and charged a higher price. Will never use this company again

This location is a grocery and food service location. It is not kept clean and the staff are not well versed in issuing equipment. The pickup location was changed with less than 24 hr notice to a 2 hour round trip from where we requested pickup (2nd option was 4 hours rt). Mauvaise expérience.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Chris and Noemi went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Uhaul corporation on the other hand is the absolute worse company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

I had reserved a truck at the Pullman location and 2 days later a woman called and said the truck was no longer available. The next closest area was 50 miles away. For the inconvenience they gave me 100 free miles which was much appreciated, however, when I got to the location in Idaho the woman helping me was very unprofessional. Her children kept interrupting the transaction which I didn't mind at first but this combined with the lack of knowledge she seemed to exhibit during the whole transaction made my wait to get the truck an hour long. She had me call the other location 3 times because she was unable to figure out how to add the extra miles and when I finally asked her to speak to them she was very rude and dismissive of them. She called her supervisor on the phone as well and she is the one who ended up handling the transaction over the phone after an hour of time had been wasted. I understand these things take time but the information she needed did not warrant an hour wait especially when I was the only person there. I'm sure I will need uhaul in the future and won't let the one experience turn me away but it was just a very bizarre and frustrating first experience.

Would maybe let customers know there is no gas station in tensed so they need to fill up before going there or be aware of gas charges.

The store was fine but we had to drive an extra 50 miles to drop of the uhaul because there was no room anywhere closer

The gentleman who helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was the check engine light in the truck came on immediately after leaving the store so we turned around and went back. Unfortunately, they didn't have another truck to give us but instead told us to call roadside assistance to come check it out. However, roadside assistance was never able to come out as they had no one in the area to send. Thankfully we made it to our destination okay regardless.

They don’t know what they’re doing the lady couldn’t understand anything at the computer I stood there two hours trying to get a truck never again avoid this place

It took almost an hour to get the u haul the gal helping us didn't have any idea what she was doing when a customer came into the store she took care of them while we stood there and waited for her to wait on them we we had been there for almost a hour very poor service. Will.probably not use u haul again

Everything!! The entire experience was horrible!! It took 3,5 hours to pick up the truck which is absolutely ridiculous!! Lindsay and Christian (employees at The Big Store) were absolutely fantastic, but my experience with U haul was less than 1 star!!

Our contract had to be rewritten three times and it took two hours to pick up the truck I had gone through the process of pre-pickup online. We were not pleased.
