Kaleb WindersPerform regular maintenance on u-haul equipment including checking/replacing tires. Our trailer blew a tire today and we were stuck on the highway for almost two hours while waiting for roadside assistance. Would like a full refund for our trouble.

patty dayThe trailer I rented had a tire problem with approximately a 4 inch by 12 inch patch of tread missing (the belts of the tire were showing). The tread surrounding the missing patch was worn flat and transitioned smoothly into the area where the tread was missing as if the problem had been there longer than just my rental. Fortunately, I noticed the problem while fueling our tow vehicle and before the start of our 135 mile trip back home. I called the Uhaul HQs and a Repair person changed both tires on the trailer after I waited approximately an hour for him to arrive.

Vilmos KerteszHello, I am sending this email to inform you all on a concern about safety. Yesterday morning I contacted U-Haul to book a truck that allowed me pack my belongings and pull my car to from TN to IL. Before confirming my request and providing my payment information, I asked if U-Haul would be able to hook up my car to the U-Haul truck in TN and if U-Haul would be able to take down my car once in IL. I was told yes for both. I arrived in IL but got stuck in mud, so had to called Shelton's Towing Company in Carbondale, IL to help get the U-Haul back on the road. When they arrived and inspected the situation, they informed me, based on their 25 + years of experience, that my car was inappropriately attached to the dolly and that it seemed as if I received a malfunctioning dolly. They continued to say that this was extremely dangerous and could cause damage to my car and a terrible accident on the road. Hearing this information was extremely frightening, as I have just driven from Oak Ridge, TN to Carbondale, IL. I hope with this information, you all can work to assure that cars are appropriately attached for customers, and also assure that full functioning pieces are proved to customers so that they are safe on the roads. Merci.
Aisha JimenezI arranged to leave the uhaul at a different location. When J went to return the truck the check-in had a different location. I called the office where I picked the truck up from but nobody would answer. I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I had to drive it back to the original pickup location which costed me more that it should have plus an unnecessary trip.

Nick HadleyI've dropped off equipment to this location several times. Its never open when I'm there. It's not the closest UHaul location to where I stay in TN, but it always comes up as my required drop-off. Who knows why? I have to pass 3 other UHaul dealers on my way to this one.
