There was only one individual in on a Saturday morning. Students moving - very busy weekend. Poor scheduling, and we felt so bad for the worker. Completely unfair to the employee to have to deal with that.Hayden W.
I waited an hour for approval for the â€œskip the lineâ€ feature. Then went inside and the guy ignored me and dealt with people in line who were buying and renting without having done the â€œskip the line featureâ€. Waited another 25 minutes before I finally just asked him for the keys. UHaul in general, and this place in particular, are useless. Cars are gross, service is poor, and the actual place was a dump. Never again. Nothing about this felt smooth or quick. It's 2022, get your shit together.Alexander D.

This was the first time i went to this location. It is behind another building. There was no sign on the street to indicate its location. The sign on the store front was small, and there was one sign where the store was not located, and i went to it first. It took me time to find the store. I could tell that the trailer had not been checked when i accessed it.Stephen D.

My experience with UHaul's Van reservation & driving was favourable. However, there was just one problem and in my it was pretty serious. And that is, I don't know why my online reservation for a 9' van was accepted for a location where the van couldn't be picked up - specifically 29 Gervais Drive in Toronto. I was only notified at 7AM yesterday that the pickup location had changed. And since this was not flagged in bold or right up front in the text and eMail, I failed to notice the change and went to the Gervais Drive location. So it was a major inconvenience and delay in my van pickup to have to travel to a new location.Dan J.

I originally booked pick up/return at Don Mills location and the system switched me to 1450 O'Connor after I left home. The clerk at Don Mills was not very helpful and negative towards the O'Connor store (â€œdon't bother calling!to confirm your truck, they are very busy and will not call you backâ€). However, upon arriving at O'Connor, the clerk was VERY courteous and professional, apologized for the mix up. The truck was very clean (for a rental moving van!), in great mechanical order and easy to operate. And O'Connor clerk did return my call/vm prior to my arrival. I recommend O'Connor for those who need a rental truck. Clean, professional and easy access location/parking. Merci.Russell M.
Pick up location changed at last minute without contacting me at all. I checked my records and I never received an email or a call. Charges for items I never booked or I was told I would not be charged for even though I called the contact centre and spoke with in store staff before and after my booking was finalized. Only after disputing the charges were they rectifies in spite of all the previous notifications. Ridiculously long wait times for uhaul contact centre when I had issues checking van back in while waiting outside in cold. Incredibly cumbersome online process. Generally, I had a very bad experience. I wasted 5 hours with uhaul issues on a day when I was moving. Added incredible stress. Will not use this service again..Martina A.

When rentals are picked up on Saturday after 2:00pm for a return 24 hours later it would be nice to be made aware that the store closes at 2:00pm on Sunday and no one is there to receive the trailer, truck etc. and therefore checkout will need to be done on your phone.Jeff B.

There was garbage from the last people that used it including gloves, candy wrappers and used floss picks. There was also a prescription medication in the glove compartment beneath the cup holders. The tenant knew the location of the medication when I brought it up so I'm not sure why they didn't take it out. That is extremely dangerous and the person might have needed their medication.nicole S.

Overall I would use this location again. The vehicle I rented was ready at the time I had reserved. When I turned on the vehicle though I had a warning on the dash to add air to one of the tires. I was on a time crunch and it looked okay so I didn't say anything about it. I had also rented a dolly which had not been put in the vehicle. Luckily I noticed this before I left and the staff member put one in for me.Lisa C.

Vehicle reserved was not available even though reservation was confirmed the day prior. No communication from the location when they were aware of not being able to meet the reservation hours earlier. Wasted over an hour waiting for the rep to provide an alternative. My reservation was changed an hour before my pick up time to a location 10km further away resulting in me needing to take a taxi over and back. Super friendly service at this location. I had booked for another pickup location and did not receive any notice of the change and fortunately I checked a few days before. The location was a 20 minute drive vs the 5 minute drive I had originally booked. When I called the uhaul general number the booking agent was incredibly curt and I was not impressed as she said they had let me know and there was nothing she could do. Despite the fact that this location was amazing I would think twice about booking with uhaul as their overall customer service is questionable. I think they rely on customers accepting the poor service because it's impossible to make alternate arrangements at the 11th hour when you are moving as there is never time to spare when you have to be out of one place and into another at a set time. Shame on uhaul corporate but this location is 5 starsDenise C.

Worst online experience I have probably ever had. My pickup location was moved with my awareness to a location 15Kms further away from my original pickup location. Did mobile check and found myself redoing all inputs I had already done online. Had to provide a second contact at the last minute before I could complete the pickup approval (Uhaul has to get in touch with this contact and verify with them that they agree to be a contact). On and on. Not a very good pickup experience at all. Uhaul, 1) if you are going to change the customers pickup locationâ€¦ over-communicate this with email, text and a call and possible try to have customer verify that they have received notice of this change. 2) collect ALL required info BEFORE pickup day, when customer is booking the rental. Pickup day via mobile should be just a couple of clicks to verify location and vehicle and you are done.Marlon W.

They never gave back the deposit I had to call on Tuesday said I was not in the system, and I gave him the contract Number and he said he would call me back, He did and said there would be a cheque in the mailBonny L.
Upon entering the vehicle, the windshield was iced up and there was no snow brush. I therefore had to wait to warm up the windshield wasting my time and fuel. When trying to open the backdoor, it was frozen shut. I had to use hot water to unfreeze the door. Again, time wasted. Upon opening the door, it was disappointing to find the back messy with garbage and the dolly not secured. There was a panel in the middle on the floor that was bent and unsecured - it created a serious tripping hazard and affected the ramp storage. A blanket on the floor in the corner was covered in snow which led me to look at the roof. It was shocking to see the sky through a hole in the roof. I immediately called the rep who told me that they were aware of the truck roof damage. I was advised that it was ok to use the truck. Fortunately, it was not raining or snowing that day otherwise our goods would have become wet. I feel that I should be compensated for these troubles and concerns. I had the worst experience ever it is very dis organized as the clerk working didn't care that the guy dropped of his trailer an hour late. Making me having to book an elevator for longer in my condo building. It would be a better set up if you guys ensure the trailer is at your site a hour earlier then the next client picking it up to ensure that the client is not having to wait for a huge length of time should the previous person be running late with the trailer or truck.KIMBERLY Z.

The after hours key return box didn't have a wide enough opening and the keys wouldn't fit inside the opening. I couldn't return the keys in any way and I had to spend at least two hours with a call center agent. In the end they gave me a password for one of the lock boxes at the location and told me to put the keys in. I drove 10 miles and came back to the location and when I tried to open the lockbox with the password provided, it didn't work. I'm still trying to find out how to return the keys!Hazar P.
