I did not receive any form of receipt, there were 3 used masks in the cab of the truck, vehicle was difficult to get out of lot, little to no communication about gas, bringing the vehicle back, etc.

Clearly inform customers of the parking options. Have signs showing customers any additional parking space available. This could have saved us 2 agonizing hours of going round in circles to get a spot with We had a 15' truck with a towing car.... the place (actual address) was fully parked...we got no help upon calling customer care, they were generally rude and arrogant. One lady even claimed that it was our fault for getting there when it's fully parked!!!!! They did not try to resolve anything, just kept deflecting and finally asked us to look for street parking!!

There was a little mud in the back of the truck when I picked it up and I had to put down a tarp but otherwise everything was great.

This store is awful. They did not have the equipment I reserved even after I called and double checked with them in person the week before. Further, when the problem arose they tried to pawn my complaint off on a generic U-Haul message service. Only after I made a big ordeal did they help solve my issues. They cost me time and money in my move and I am very dissatisfied. Lastly they rented me a truck without a wiper functioning which was very unsafe. I had to pay to fix the wiper in a snow storm.

It's a shame you cannot park your car on the lot only on the street. But Solomon was great very polite, friendly and helpful. He let me know where to park on the North side of Gerrard so that I would not get a ticket. I will use this location in the future.

Truck smells like shit and and in cabin smells sigaret and also sigaret ash on the floor...when they ask me for insurance I said don't need but still I got charge for insurance...

You rented us a faulty vehicle with a front left turn signal that was broken and hung from its wires. An engine warning light was on inside. The odometer was in miles not kms - the measurement with which you make your contracts. The employee took a very long time to secure our rental although it had already been processed and supposedly paid for online. We did not get what we ordered instead a much larger vehicle. The interior cab was filthy - muddy, dirty napkins. The turn signals did not turn off but had to be manually shut off. We have not received a final bill almost 24 hours after the rental was returned. The employee asked us to please give him a good review. I would like my concerns and complaints addressed.

Show up to work on time. If my truck rental is for 9:30 i don't expect the employee to show up at 9:40 and spend another 20 minutes logging in, looking for keys, and seeing what truck I'll be taking. Twice I've asked for a dolly from this location and didn't get one. Twice I've used this location with the opening being late. The only aspect of the service they're prompt on is in asking for a positive customer service review once I've returned the truck.

I was supposed to drop at a different location 921 Pape Ave. There is no UHaul service at that location. I was directed to call the former occupant, who now operates from a different location. I reached him nut he directed me to drop off at a third location which is not listed on Uhaul.com. Customer service tele helped me out but this was a shitty hassle and I did not need it at the end of a long day. I will look hard for a different service provider before using uHaul again.

Absolutely dreadful service - I will never go back to the Box Shoppe. The rental was from 1.30 pm. At 12.31 and then 12.47 pm on 13 November the Uhaul agent called demanding that I come immediately as he was closing for lunch until 2 pm. I told him the booking was for 1.30. He said I must come in 10 minutes. He dragged me from the toilet and ruined my lunch. When I arrived just after 1 pm I showed him my booking document which confirmed 1.30. What kind of bad joke is this? In addition, the ordered furniture pads were not supplied. We managed without. Never again!

I read a lot of horror stories before booking this but my experience was very straightforward. The truck was available at the location and on time, and there was a utility dolly available. The office was closed when returning despite being during business hours, however self-return was pretty easy.

Improve the self pick-up! Personal documents such as drive license and address can be checked on checkin phase online. We cannot wait up to 20min to pick the equipment up. Fortunately the guy at pick up location did a good job and bypassed this.

The truck was not available on time (half an hour late). I was told to contact head office to figure out solution - why do I need to call the head office and figure out solution and not the representatives? Also, one of the representatives had the worst runny nose while not wearing mask. COVID? Also only got one furniture pad not two like I ordered due to shortage.

Reserved a dolly for October 31 on October 8th. Saw someone ahead of me take one to their rented truck, but when it was my turn I was told there were no more. Confirmed that I would not be charged for the dolly but still got charged at the end. Had to call customer service to get a refund on the dolly charge. Terrible customer service at this location overall.

the location was fine. i didn't expect anything more or less than what i got. my issue is with the reservation system and customer service. the location i rented from didn't have the truck (even though it was reserved) so they sent me to another location. thankfully that location was close, but it was my 2nd lineup of the day. the new location had the truck, but didn't have the dolly i had reserved. so i called customer service to find a dolly. they also promised a $25 coupon code which they'd email to me, and even verified my email address. i had to go back to the first location to get the dolly. this whole process took a little over an hour. after all that, the promised coupon code was never emailed to me, so they billed me full rate. i had to call today to get them to apply a rebate instead. very poor experience. all that said, the truck was fine, as were both locations - the people were very friendly and helpful but were hamstrung by the company.
