Tammy H.The trailer that we rented from this location had a shaking wheel on the axle, broken underneath. The door wouldn't open without a pressure of two people on both sides. The trailer wasn't even clean inside with ropes in the corners. Unfortunately, we had no choice on that day and this was the only location with this size trailer available, so we did not even check it before we rented. When we returned the trailer we thought we had to inform the Manager Amar about these issues and hopefully, have him put this trailer under repair, but he had a rude reaction and told us that we should not teach him how to run the business. He said that we are wasting his time and it is absolutely normal that the trailer has these issues. We are a decor company and have been renting from Uhaul for years, mostly from Newmarket and Aurora locations and have never had any issues with their managers. We will never ever rent from this place, as this equipment is not safe and the Manager is rude and unprofessional.

The agent on site was very co-operative and assisted to hook up the trailer to my vehicle and also helped to unhook the trailer when I returned to the motel. I noticed a vibration on the trailer and believe the wheels were out of balance, but not a very bad vibration. Overall the equipment was perfect for my job and the cost was reasonable.

John V.I had great experience with Uhaul in the past Parry Sound,Innisfill,Barrie. The Confort Inn was not good experience. The location itself is poorly kept and the lobby is very dirty and not well maintained. The vehicle interior was dirty with coffee stain and grim in the cup holder. The box compartment was not swept and had the smelt like garbage.This is not a good image forbUHaul. We also had a wiper mechanical failure .We had to driver the vehicle back in the rain (not Safe). The UHaul technician was not able to fix it. We expected to drive a safe reliable vehicle not a truck that is help together with straps and tie wraps. Maybe that's Okay for Vehicles registered in Arizona but it does not meet public safety standards in Canada. We will never use this location again Thanks

James M.This location sucks!!!! They were supposed to charge by the km but I was charged $30 more than the km I used. When I got there my credit card was charged right off the bat with an estimation of the km I was going to use and when I got back and showed that I only used $67 worth of km's I was still charged $110. Not cool! This is why I am disappointed with this place. Just wish they did things the proper way. Everything is already expensive these days. Don't need to have people cheat you out of your hard earned money.

Andre M.o travel almost 1 hour to pick up a trailer wasn't the best experience, and then having to return the trailer to the same location when another U-Haul rental site was only 5 kilometers away also wasn't enjoyed very much. Other than these observations, the experience was okay.

William V.My comment is for the folks who work in head office. As a regular renter of uhaul trucks especially the 26ft truck, my very tiny moving service relies on the space this truck provides to meet the needs of my customer's who have a large scale move. I can confirm this is the 5th time someone in head office decide to take the truck the day before and leave me scrambling to find and replacement, this location and the person provided me with great service and assured me they can't make changes in the system once the vehicle is reserved, I get it the trucks need to be serviced more than the smaller equipment but there must be a better system. When they say reservation guaranteed they don't mean the actual equipment you reserved nor at the location you reserved but a guaranteed to have to panicking the day before sometimes the day of, I can show all the $50 discount they've given for the inconvenience but its not about the money. If I have customers with elevators..... I've ranted enough. Corporate office needs to do better. They are completely insulated since the front desk staff at the pickup counter have to take the brunt of the anger from dissatisfied Customers
RICARDO R.They were very helpful in parking the truck and going through it to make sure nothing was left behind. They found a few items left by the previous renters that we did not even know were there. Check out was quick and simple.

Nice enough guy, was not rude but also doesnt present the level of business that I have been accustomed to from other Uhaul or rental organizations. I strongly suggest auditing the location. Plus.... You have to park your car next to a pretty questionable motel and a dirty and poorly maintained parking lot. Truck ran well and did the job intended. The other portion will not have me rent a vehicle from such an establishment ever again.

Truck was full of top soil and didn't have any of the 6 moving blankets that are supposed to be in a bag on the right side. Lastly the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas so I had to fill up several times tp avoid returning with more gas then when I picked it up.

Nathaniel C.Someone before my truck booking canceled my reservation because they had the wrong number and a man picked up Saying they did not order a truck so they canceled the order on me the day before we had to move. It was very hard to get a truck because of this error and we end end up moving until 1am on moving day because we got the truck hours later then our reservation and it was smaller. Not very happy with the customer service either. But we got the job done just under a mistake that was an error on their end. I also confirmed my reservation and details twice with U-Haul before my reservation
Nichola F.Not the greatest experience. I was to pick up the trailer in Newmarket at noon. When I got there they informed me that they took the trailer out of service due to a required tire change, this after I was there the day before to confirm my order. You would think they would have called me beforehand to let me know. There was a lot of scrambling to locate another trailer for me. One was found in Bradford which took me way out of my way for pickup and drop off. I was not impressed.

Jon S.I booked the 26†truck 3 weeks prior to my move, hired movers for the day of the move, at the time to pick up the truck, there was no truck. After hours of trying to find A truck i was told a 15†truck is available in aurora, i had no choice but to go with a 15†truck costing me to make several trips to make my move happen and cost me more hours to keep the movers. Horrible experience!

Matthew B.The parking lot was not cleared and not maintained and is not big enough for the big truck, the truck was not brushed off. The sketchy motel made us feel VERY uncomfortable. The office smelt like urine. The gentleman was not very friendly or helpful. The truck had no washer fluid and was completely empty so we had to stop and buy some for it. The truck did not have any moving blankets and this would have been helpful. The truck needs snow tires not summer tires.
