My order was for Newmarket and confirmed with the blankets I booked, but when I picked up the truck I had to go to Bradford which was out of the way and they had no blankets. Was very disappointed. Order should not have been confirmed with blankets if they were not avail so we could have planned around it. Bradford was otherwise a good experience. Nice person and efficient.Sharon C.

I reserved a 26' truck and the day I went to pick it up It wasn't available because it was taken to the shop for repairs and nobody notified us. We had to rent a 20' truck, no choice, and had to make 3 trips. Awful experience. And all they did was gave us 50 $credit. Do not recommend!!!!!MAURICIO R.
Fuel gauge indicated MORE fuel that what was actually in the vehicle. Serious steering problems with the unit. Steering Lash (play in the steering wheel, also severely pulled to the right when braking). Needs front end work before going back out. I conveyed this to the pick up location, but fear it was released to another rental anyways. Also, talked to two different agents, and given very different info and difficulty setting up a one way move The second agent i talked to (Lenny from Texas), was very good in getting me closer to what i actually needed. I still feel i paid a great deal more than what i should have. Lenny from Texas was patient and i believe he did a great job helping me. I still feel i could have gotten a better deal and he is not by any means at fault. Only reason i mention this, is i live on a monthly Disability, and money is extremely tight, and literally every dollar counts. I do and did not expect cheap, just something a little more finacially reliable. Uhaul is more than fair i feel, and i believe their longevity indicates reliability.EDWARD R.

The gentleman who helped me was lovely. The truck was a little dirty - just in the cab. Getting in and out of this location was tight. But over all, the experience was good.Ayr G.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE experience. My move from the GTA to London Ontario (2,5 hour drive one way) was delayed one whole day because UHAUL did not have the truck ready until 4,5 HOURS AFTER the originally scheduled picked. Not to mention the pick up location I was given when I booked did not have the truck that morningâ€¦??? The only â€œsolutionâ€ offered was for me to drive an additional 45 minutes (one way) to pick up the truck at a different location, only to arrive at that different location to find out that location ALSO DID NOT HAVE THE TRUCK I booked. I waited 1,5 hours for the truck to arrive. The whole while I was on hold with UHAUL head office, being bounced from Department to Department, being disconnected 2x, and having to call back into their cue and explain the disaster THEY created to THEMâ€¦. And, as all this is happening, I had 6 friends waiting at my place, who had been there since 7:30am. By the time we got back to the house with the truck, it was noon. When I booked, I was told the truck would be ready at 7am. Noonâ€¦.Suffices to say, the move got delayed by one whole day. Oh, and head office did finally call back with some compensation for the delay and stress THEY caused which was extra kilometres (I didn't need) and 50 $offâ€¦â€¦. 50 $. Which, by the way, hasn't actually even been refunded. I'm currently sitting at 2 days passed the move date and the whopping 50 $compensation is still not processed, but alas, I will circle back around to this review to keep you all updated. In the meanwhile, rest assured I will NEVER use UHAUL again and will always share my experience when asked.MATHEW R.

The truck I booked months ago was not available but no one told me. I had to take a smaller truck which meant I had to make 2 trips instead of one which meant more milage and more costs. All in all not a good experience.David P.

We were supposed to be able to pick up the U haul at 8:30 originally but agreed to delay pick up to 10:30am at the request of U haul however the U haul ended up being another hour late which significantly delayed us.John C.

This was the absolute worst experience, the people running the motel were completely incompetent. The mother sat on a couch playing on her phone while her son struggled to help me with a simple drop off which took forever even though I mentioned multiple times that we were in a rush. There was zero communication and it was pure confusion. They weren't wearing masks, which made my mother and myself feel uncomfortable going in and the reception area had an awful smell. Awful customer experience that looks so, SO poorly on UHaul.Loredana C.

I've been renting both storage units and trailers for years , never have I been asked to give personal contact names and phone numbers as a reference before I can rent a trailer. He would not rent me the trailer unless I did so. This place smells disgusting, it's dirty and the person who runs it has no concept of customer service.FRANCISCO C.
The Uhaul location was inside a motel, the sign couldn't be seen from the road at all, the office was very dirty and smelly. The man at the counter was not wearing a face mask and said he didn't mind if we didn't wear one either. He charged 15 $extra for not filling up gas to the required amount however the gas was at the exact level it was supposed to be when returning. Also he charged tax twice, the total clearly wasn't adding up yet he refused to do anything about it. Overall terrible experience. For next time I will be driving down a bit further to Newmarket or elsewhere for Uhaul rental. Will never recommend this place to anyone.kubra A.

Make sure the cab is cleaned. I got a call from the drop off location questioning why it was messy. The box was cleaner when I returned it than when I picked it up. There was no basic instructions. Luckily I knew what to do about a parking break. There was no preinspection so I could of been in trouble for previous damage.TAYLOR P.
It's a little bit too expensive though. The truck is 19,95 $. But after gas, fees, taxes and kms (it was only 40km) it came up to 90 $. I expected to spend about 60 $on that. Disappointed ((( but service is great!!!Anna G.

Truck was very dirty when picked up. We had to clean it prior to loading it due to many nails and bolts that could potentially damage our belongings. There was less than a quarter of gas in the truck, so we had to fill before even beginning the move.Kevin H.

No complaints re. U-Haul or the location, but one complaint regarding what happened re. fuel in the truck. When I picked the truck up, the gauge appeared to indicate a full tank, but after driving it only 50 miles it cost me 33 $CAD to fill the tank, even though the gauge still showed "full" after I'd driven my 50 miles. In my opinion, I payed way too much for simply driving the truck 50 miles, and I suspect the last person to have rented the truck before me simply noted that the gauge still showed "full" after his project was completed and he returned the truck without filling it. You need to have some better system of determining whether the tank has actually been filled after each customer used the truck, otherwise honest customers like myself get played as suckers and it's not fair or reasonable.RONALDD B.

The truck was quite wandering on the road inspection of the steering is in order. The original reservation was one way. On pickup advised it had to be returned adding 37,5 to gas bill and 2 hrs extr to our moving day.BRENT P.
