The man running this location is doing the best he can I suppose. He wasn't pleasant had a "cant fix stupid" sign right on the desk in front of where the customer sits and a rat trap that says to ring bell to submit a complaint. The office which was not a small space smelled like an ashtray. It was nauseating. He had a cat perched in the space. There was no hand truck (dolly) so I had to go rent one from Home depot. I have been too busy to see if I was charged for a hand truck from uhaul. The man there said very angrily the he keeps telling uhaul he doesn't have hand trucks. Again, I guess he is doing the best he can. I did not enjoy feeling like I just need to shutup and let this man give me the keys because I need the truck and don't have time to go elsewhere. He gets a zero for customer service. I will not rent from there again.

Third the trucks tire pressure sensor was on and said the truck needed air in a tire. Fourth the truck did not have a ramp which made it more difficult to load. I will not be using this location again!

ARMYNDA GFront driver tire had 19 PSI. They are all supposed to be at 80 PSI. Three out of four tires needed air. Felt extremely unsafe having to drive the vehicle to go put air in it. Truck was dirty, felt gross being in it. Expressed my concerns to the guy inside, he said didn't need air just had bad TPMS. I said well it's obvious the tire needs air. He just said well I don't have a way to put air in it, and nothing else. Last time I will be using U-Haul for my transportation needs. Have been trying to contact someone about my poor experience, but have yet to hear anything and was charged full price.
Joshua SOld man broken arm and cut hand. Can't see ! I had to do everything from using computer to enter my info to hooking up the trailer. Went to see a doctor about my back a couple of days later. Said that I was lifting too heavy a load! I'm 74 years old!

The person in charge of this location demanded me to get information from the truck and very short with me. The person keep telling me that he cannot see the computer monitor. Took 45 minutes to return the truck due to his inputing information took forever. . He over charged me and now I have to call U-Haul to take care the over charged fees. I WILL NEVER use this location again. I was very disappointed.

ASHOK PThe back of the U-Haul had a strong odor. The floor was so slick we had to put a tarp down to keep from falling. There was a liquid of some sort covering the rear bumper. So you had to watch where you touched the trailer or it would get all over you.

TOMMY TI originally scheduled my box truck from Deborah Andrews at Daydream Farm to help support her animal rescue efforts. She is amazing and was so friendly and helped with my reservation. However, she did not have the truck needed and the order was transferred to the other location in Gainesville. This is when the awful experience began. Upon arriving at the other store, the man who was sitting at the desk was extremely rude, was yelling at a kid in the store, making both myself and my son-in-law uncomfortable. He couldn't see the screen and used a large magnifying glad and rudely asked my name. The young boy (who appeared to be a grandchild of his) started up his dirt bike inside the building with closed doors, spewing exhaust inside. My SIL couldn't breathe and went outside. The return experience was just as bad. When I walked inside, the older man and anolder women were working on something. I said I was returning the truck and she said they were closed. put the key in the outside box and then ignored me. I will NEVER RENT ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. In fact, I will ensure I spread the word to others to do the same. terrible experience. Is this really who you want to represent your brand?

Emily BThe Great Classic was not helpful at all. Gentlemen that did the rental was rude and short tempered. The office was completely smoked out and had multiple cats walking around and sitting on the desk that I was signing the rental contract on. Gentlemen who did the rental could not help with the trailer set up at all. The trailer I was given had an expired tag (4/23 tag) on the license plate. When I notified the office of this since I was driving it over multiple state lines, I asked if they had the updated tag or a different trailer I could use so I did not have to worry about the possibility of getting pulled over. The guy who runs this location responded by saying, "That is the only trailer you can have. I can't help you with the tag. You won't get pulled over. You either take this trailer or you don't rent a trailer. Only two options." Poor customer service, poor location set up. Trailer itself was fine. Drove great and was easy to handle. Minus the expired tag, the equipment was good.

The Manager is in ill health and cannot see the Computer Screen without the assistance of a magnifying Glass. Although the Trailer was, in fact available, there was no assistance available for hitching the Trailer. Had I not had previous experience with Trailers, I could not have obtained the Trailer.

Jennifer BMore clear instruction on the pick mostly around the localization settings. Add sign to the road. We rented a big truck and we got stock at the exit, we had to call a friend with truck to push the uhaul truck.
Yorlan VSmelled really bad inside like a tool shed that someone had been smoking in for 30 years. I asked the guy at the desk if I could wait outside while he did his computer work because I am allergic to cats. He proceeded to tell me how I wasn't allergic to THESE cats because I had never been around them before and it's actually what they are fed that you are allergic to (?) and blah blah blah. I decided not to tell him that I already had a pretty good understanding of how the immune system works from medical school cause I just needed to get out of there and get the truck loaded. Oh and I paid for 12 furniture pads but only got 11.

Roger LU-Haul contacted day before to change to pickup location. It was 15 minutes further from my house. The truck was filthy. I had the clean the cab to drive it. The storage are was full of dirt and bugs. Lastly the gas cap was missing and the storage manager didn't take care of this. This was my worst U-Haul experience

Glen LThe truck was quite new with only 3-4K miles on it. However, it was filthy with mud on the floorboard and thick dog hair throughout the cab. We took quite awhile to clean out the cab and found a key fob (from prior renter?) in the drink holder in the dashboard - it was not visible at the time of rental because it was buried under a thick coating of dog hair. In the operator's defense, he appeared to be nearly blind and used a magnifier up close to read his computer screen. Thus, he was unable to help me signout the truck, confirm the condition of the truck (which I did not understand how to do), allow me to dispute the amount of gas allegedly left in the tank, or upload my drivers license (which I struggled with). He had an assistant sharing his small desk, but she seemed "out-of-it" and barely raised her head from sleeping position on the desk, so I knew it would do no good to complain about the condition of the truck.
