ury sBetter than the rest. I've rented trucks, vans, equipment from more than a few different U-Haul locations. The Hudson Paper location in Stratford beats them all in all ways. Dependable equipment, clean maintained vehicles. I sometimes pick up my vehicle using their app but mostly I get to see the proprietor who makes the transaction friendly and professional. I've never had a problem. I recommend them. A few steps above the others.

Kristen HRented a 15 ft truck. It had a message on screen as I started truck that said 38 miles to low gas. When I returned truck I was charged a gas surplus and for gas. I had placed 4,5 gallons of gas prior to return which was way more than was there when I took the truck. Truck was not cleaned out prior to rental, and truck struggled to shift gears. Bad experience at this location. Not so at other U-Haul location near me.

Todd MThe APP is horrible. Definety needs to be streamlined and upgraded for ease of use. Biggest issue is when returning the truck; It is like "pulling teeth "to get through to the end. Imagine finishing a big move, tired and all.. and then you have to wait for this silly app to complete the drop off? Please advise and fix freezing bugs.

John BThe location was completely fine. The truck was fine and the retailer went above and beyond. However, your system with your app is the worst I've ever used in my life. I tried to set everything up five days in advance, and I still had problems the day that I went to pick it up, it took me one hour to get my truck from when I reached, my pick up point even though I had reserved it, five days in advance, went in and talked to the retailer and tried to do everything ahead of time I was not able to do that. It is by far the worst app I have ever used. This is coming from a former U-Haul retailer.

martin bRented Uhaul from this place , the owner Wendy was very rude and confrontational. As soon as I walked through the door she is accusing me on being in one of her trucks, no good morning or hello at all . I had no idea what she was talking about . Proceeds to say she doesn't know why I booked for 9am when they don't open till 10am . I booked online and if 9am is not an option I shouldn't be able to book for 9am ! Got my truck late due to her complaining and moving like a turtle therefore delaying what I needed to do for the day . Common sense but yeah Probably won't be back to this place , no reason I should spend my money here for such bad customer service when there are plenty other places to choose from . Also the office is a pig pen disgusting and dirty . Afraid I was gonna take home a roach just by being in there .

Louis CI called in advance to pick up a truck @ 12:15 but couldn't find the office when I arrived at the site...very poor signage and direction...I didn't leave the facility until after 1:00pm which delayed my move. The office was filthy and cluttered with "debris" which didn't leave a professional impression. The truck had water in the bed where my cargo had to go (even though the clerk offered to change trucks but would have delayed the move even longer). When returning the truck, the combination to the drop box the clerk gave us didn't work which made the drop off confusing leaving me with an insecure feeling leaving the truck and the key....all in all, I'm glad this was my last move and I won't have a need in the future to use your service.

Paul CPeople should be asked how many days that they'll need the equipment and only be charged for that. Not the rep picking a day and charging the customer for unwanted days.
james sWe ourselves had to search for a larger 26 foot truck that was available local to us.. the other locations could not search. This wasted time. But when we did we was very satisfied with our rental and employees.
