Have equipment road ready when a customer with a reservation arrives. Don't do temporary fixes to equipment that prevents your customers from being able to safely drive at night or during a storm.Megan L.
Trailer had oil and grease on the floor and side walls which got on our furniture. We had to clean the trailer and our furniture and throw away some of the moving blankets. Very disappointed in this rental.Ann M.

I think the UHaul app and after hours process need work. We dropped off our truck well within the 24-hours rental period, but were charged for 2 days apparently because we picked it up on Saturday and dropped off on Sunday morning. We were able to work with The Mail Box Store staff to process a refund for the 2nd day, but it was a hassle and directly related to the after hours drop off process.jeff R.
Find out if your customers need the trucks with a hitch or do they need the pull out ramp before leasing the trucks out. Once the customer returns the truck do not complete the service by checking in the truck while they are there. Don't send customers away with out a receipt telling them they will get a final emailOngellique J.
They refuse to unload the trailer from our Enclave.My 79 year old husband worked till he had trailer off the hitch! Then my husband and I had to direct the trailer by hand into the parking spot. Their employee stood and watched us.She was not going to help! I will never go back to their place of bussiness! Very RUDE!!Jill K.

For those that are tech challenged, I find it somewhat difficult to conduct the process via apps and websites. I attempted to check back in but could not seem to figure out the application as it errored out. The only other issue was the gas gauge level was not as stated. I had to show the clerk the level listed on the contract did not match the trucks gas level gauge and was off by a minimum of 1/8.JOURDAN S.

The U-Haul trucks are owned and maintained by corporate U-Haul. In this case, the 20 foot truck was a bit lacking in maintenance, specifically: The front end alignment was not correct leading to a wobbly drive; The fan belts or serpentine belt was slipping leading to a lot of squealing; the wiper blades were rock hard and split leading to inability to clean the windshield; the screws which hold the interior brush bars were loose and several fell out.KERRY S.

I scheduled a Saturday pickup only to discover the store was closed Using U Haul phone app to get and return the truck was a monumental goat rope I'll use U Haul again buy only from a full fledged dealerBrian J.
The whole process of returning the truck is ridiculous. If you're going to make your customers jump through hoops to return a truck, make sure your website works properly. Nothing would load and we wasted probably 30 minutes of our time trying to upload pictures and do numerous â€œcheck inâ€ things. Ridiculous. This has nothing to do with the Mailbox Store. That is a great business. Uhaul as a company needs to figure it out.Joshua S.

The Cabin was not clean, the appliances dolly was not provided but I was charged for it. My dispute was not recognized. The app told me I would be contacted in 48h I was NOT contacted. The Furniture Dooley was locked in the trunk and blankets I didn't ask took up space in the truck. The app also took over 20 minutes to approve me when I tried to pick up the truck.Merlin E.

Many many problems (Mailbox Store and U-Haul)... Be sure to schedule correct date of service. I had to schedule this one truck three times. U-Haul should check the connections between the email communication accounts and the U-Haul app as they do not work together. U-Haul has to improve the customer service as well - I stood outside of the business after 10:00pm attempting to access my key box code. A customer service representative barely allowed me to state the issue before saying, "Hold on.' She never returned. I had to wait until the next morning for business hours before I could attempt to catch up with time-sensitive plans. This whole situation was unacceptable.ESTHER S.

The passenger mirror was taped on, can send pictures if you like. Was the only 10' truck they had. They said it was a loose screw. There was a quarter size chunk of the bracket missing under the tape. The mirror kept getting lower and lower while driving, just took the tape off and drove without the mirror.JAMES C.
