Fix the online reservation and pickup experience. Complete, utter, total nightmare trying to reserve and pick up via the Share 24/7 system.

My reservation was for pickup at Clinton Wa and drop off in Oak Harbor Wa...got a notice 1day before that it wasn't available and reconnected with UHaul, under same reservation number,and rebooked to pick up 15 foot truck in Freeland and drop off in Oak Harbor...when went to pick up the reservation had been CANCELLED...with Angus's help we got a 10 foot truck that had to be returned to Freeland...needed to make 2 trips with lots of extra gas and mileage...could I be compensated for the extra gas and or mileage? Thanks

I reserved my uhaul a month in advance to be picked up in bellingham Washington. Week of, I find out there is no reservation anywhere near my location and we are forced to either drive 3 hours round trip to go get the truck the night before or 2 hours round trip the morning of our move to pick up a truck at 7:30 am. We had to be out by noon. It is ridiculous that we rented a uhaul so far in advance and we're pretty much told we were out of luck and had no other option than to drive over 150 miles to get a truck. I would have understood had we made the reservation day of BUT I MADE IT A MONTH AGO! I was on the phone with customer service multiple times reiterating my concerns and at one point they moved it to Bellingham but the next day it was changed back to Everett. This whole experience was exhausting and made me sour to the thought of renting from then again.

A few days into my trip I was called by one of your out of town employees who insisted that I drop off my truck at one of two other locations Grover Beach or Paso Robles, that were very inconvenient as my car was in San Luis Obispo & my contract was for San Luis Obispo. How was I supposed to do this? A ride wasn't offered to SLO.

Met my needs, professional service

I was given a truck with a punctured tire on the weekend before a long distance trip. The repair process cost me 3 hours. The auto transport trailer I had requested a week ahead of time was given away the day before pick up.

Very nice man, Angus, that runs the place is a gem. Rental was smooth and easy. 2nd time renting from here.

The folks at the U-Haul in Freeland,WA are outstanding. Both the owner, who was there when i picked up the truck, and the gentleman who checked me back in are courteous, considerate, and helpful. The truck was extremely clean, and ready to go! My rental experience was exceptional!

After completing the lengthy check-in process I found the key in the lockbox was for a truck with a different identifier. So, since the local team doesn't answer it's phone I had to call the toll free number and endure the hold time. Then, when I finally cleared that up there were no moving pads in the truck - which we needed. Ultimately, we were charged for moving pads so I had to call the national number again to ask for credit. Overall a disaster

Big problem....after I rented the hand truck the office closed for the month of April. Had a hand truck I only need for a few hours...I had close to a week and no one would return my daily phone calls and my fear was I was being charged everyday I had it. I finally found someone to help me and I returned it to another outlet....hopefully I will be billed for one day.

Make the verification process much much more more user friendly. The process was very time consuming and way to extensive. I would never use the process again or recommend it to anyone.

Amazed at how quickly I was in and out of the office - I was driving away in the truck in about 10 minutes after I arrived. Used to standing in a line in larger communities.Great truck and very clean.

Service was great but the mileage is too expensive. I will never rent a uhaul again.

I tried the mobile pickup ( from iphone) Horrible experience. Took my photo, and front/back photos of drivers lic, no problem. Then it said to open the vault. Unclear where/what vault is. Decided it was probably the 3 boxes on outside wall. Not labelled with “vault”. No code, no explanation how to get code. 2 min later i start a chat w uhaul - he says he needs to verify me. Long wait, prob 6-10 min. Then he says verified- you need to pay now. Look around on my screen, no mention of payment. Walk into uhaul office, call cust support, 8 min wait, someone answers, cant help me, forwards me to another line, another 8 min wait, person does not know how i can pay. Hang up, the agent redoes the contract from scratch. Total time from arrival to get keys, 35 min. Worst online experience ever. BTW I have been a tech lead, or CTO, or founder of 5 successful startups - I do understand apps.

Angus was friendly and very helpful. I would love to see a van at this location. I will recommend my neighbors to this location.

The Tartan Thistle is my favorite U-Haul location. The service is top-notch and the equipment is always in good condition.

Easy access. Friendly customer service.

U-Haul's is very expensive. The idea of $1.39/mile is extremely high. U-Haul is gouging its customers. It is ridiculous folks! Angus at Tartan Thistle was great. Helpful and clear.

Angus was great and alot of help putting my rental together for my move. I highly recommend this location for your rental needs.

I did not drop off the trailer, my Husband did, so I cannot comment.

Staff was great

I will tell you and I am a retired executive of a multi billion dollar company and you do not want to loose Jeff Kelley in the Oak Harbor, location. He is excellent. He dove 60 miles on his own time to get us a trailer for the truck. His follow up and through was suburb. You are lucky to have him. His helpers were excellent also I think their names were Ralph and Billy but not sure.

This is probably my 10th time renting here. Get people and great service and equipment. I do wish they could keep a pickup on site .
