Customer service was terrible and the price to rent it for less that 12 hours was ridiculous

Teresa HCharge me the same as the person before me. On the same truck. Add debit payment option to van and pick up rentals. As a marketing tactic you offer some sort of rewards for loyalty on. rentals. Perhaps 50 % off the mileage rate for up to 25 miles on repeat -:for example.

Marilyn PWell they lie on the price they said it's 100 and something for up to 200 miles then turned around and when we dropped it off we was supposedly over the miles witch was only 140 miles so they doubled the price from what we was quoted ! Lies lies lies throughout the whole process! I will never rent a uhaul again I'll go to another place

steve mThe business was not open. I had to walk around the closed business where I located a drop box and instructions for vehicle turn in attached to a tuff shed type outbuilding. No attendants were available.
William GI have no issue with the location that I picked up the equipment. Ils ont été très serviables et amicaux. My issue is that the piece of equipment that I reserved to pickup at this location, was changed to a different location, not once but twice. The first location was 30 minute drive each way. The second location was an hour and a half drive each way.
Robert RI let the contact person know what the trailer was doing while I had it in tow and they told me they would look into it. Hopefully they do and see whatever it may be that caused it to handle this way.

Deborah NThe moving truck had very worn shocks and the steering was very loose. You had to continually overcorrect to stay in the lane. It was a very difficult and stressful drive to Los Angeles from Tehachapi.

Taylor RI picked up my equipment in Oakland in the morning, for a standard 3 day rental. The drop-off location called me THE SAME DAY asking if I was going to turn it it that day, and then when I dropped it off they told me they had another customer coming for it in 15 minutes. To be clear - I had had the equipment for ~9 hours at that point, out of my 72 hour rental. Luckily for them I made good time for the entire trip. Shop is cluttered and disorganized, Uhaul desk is crammed in the back and apparently no one really knows what's going on there, since they had somehow promised my equipment to someone else before I was even done with it.
Scott WI have no complaints. Best uhaul experience by far and I plan on using this location in the future for any needs.

Linda EThe folks at this location did a good job, very nice and helpful. But we had a problem with being overcharged mileage, like an extra $127, for an in-town, 24 hr local rental,, because a service technician apparently took the truck after we turned it back in, drove it to Bakersfield for service and back, and apparently didn't enter the mileage properly. I don't know exactly what or how that happened,, but We got charged for that mileage that occurred after we turned it in. It created a mess in our bank account, which we now have to wait for it to be fixed. Not happy about that. Make sure you take pics of the odometer before and after and confirm it with the person doing your paperwork, no matter which location. We will for sure be doing that in the future. When we called to tell them there was a problem, they were quick to figure it out and fix it and were very apologetic, which I appreciate. But caused a hassle for us with our bank acct now jammed up.
