The front desk gentleman is super nice and welcoming. He is a great asset in U-Haul corporation. Quick and smooth pickup and drop off. One of the best experience in car rental. This is a real review from my personal rental.

ALDO R.Please check Maintenance of vehicles especially Batteries and Alternators. My U-Haul truck battery failed on our move with a loaded vehicle! Called for support, but no response after 45 minutes of waiting. Had no alternative but to purchase a $200 battery and installed it myself to complete move! Contacted U-Hall for reimbursement multiple times after submitting pics of new battery and payment invoice, yet again no response. I will write a negative Google Review of this location and U-Hall if I receive no reimbursement for the battery. In fact, I requested the fee for rental be refunded for services rendered. Again, after multiple calls no response. The location, at the Tinley Auto Repair I returned it to, provided no help for me whatsoever when I informed them of my adventure. I feel I was ripped off of $200 and services! And Yes please post this for public viewing! I hope U-Haul will do the right thing and reimburse me! Eugene J Guidera contract # 90578726

I had truck reserved at another location and had a ride set up and trip planned and U-Haul calls and says truck is in Indiana and I need drive 60 miles to get it? I'm not sure how you run a business like this? Last time we rented we had to go 20 miles away also? I'm never renting anything from you people again! That is a terrible thing to set a reservation and then you control where truck is? Like getting a hotel show up n they say you need drive to another location even tho you reserve here? So I ended up with a smaller truck cause I had no way to get 15' one I reserved? The stress it put on me was not necessary and I was not able to get all my stuff in the small truck and have to make another trip! Shame on you people! I'm telling everyone I know how you operate and not recommend! Thanks for nothing

ROBERT B.We felt that the woman working at the desk was very abrupt and rude. It was pouring rain, yet we had to park across the street, walk through a muddy gravel lot to get the UHaul, which was honestly filthy. Everything for check in was done through a text message app which stated that the UHaul was in perfect condition, yet it was not. This had me walking around the UHaul taking pictures with my phone in the rain of the exhausting damage so we were not held responsible for any of this when we returned the UHaul. When we did return the UHaul we were told to park it where we found it, in the muddy gravel lot, and no one looked this over until after we already left the premise. I was told I would get an email with the “total†once this was looked over. Should we ever need another UHaul rental, we will definitely NOT be going through this location.

Joe N.Droped the car at this location. And woman called about the moving doly that the first location didint put in. I told that the first location didint put it in. So the woman didint care, she told that shes going to charge extra money for that, and she dont care, she picing the car. So i tried to call the forst location, and no one is picking the phone back there, tryed to call several time. So call back the woman in the second location (had to wait for rhe answer 10min) she was rode, and disrespectal. The hole situation was so poor, i fell like i was in afganistan, the poeple should be working in any.location. Never dealing with this company again. Go back school or something, learn some stuff 0 customer care.

UHaul needs to do a better job reservations not just take them and not care about the customer. The pickup and drop off at the Tinley Park location was smooth with issues.
