RICHARD C.Well, for starters, I had a huge complaint, tried to send it via the link in the previous email, and that failed miserably. That email is below, which chronicles my complaint in vivid detail. Good afternoon, I had called about this issue when I picked up my moving van on Friday. I did not receive the dolly or pads to use for my move from the location. This put us in a very bad position. The operator I spoke with tried to help us by getting another dolly, but it was no use. He stated I would be credited back, but the receipt I was shown does not show this. I would like to be refunded the amount paid for these items, as well as time used by having to find a different way to move furniture other than via dolly. A couple pieces of furniture we moved did receive some scratches from the move, which we are not happy about either. Overall, this experience was not the greatest. Add in the fact that we were not informed that we had only a 1-hour window for an online pick-up, which caused us to miss our window for dinner reservations we had that evening. To say we were not pleased is an understatement. We had experienced a rough day and we hoped that this would go smoothly. Of course, it led to almost 1 hr. of waiting on the phone for help, getting assistance, then noticing we did not have the needed equipment. As you can see from the above information, I am not impressed. After using U-Haul in person last week, I thought this would also be as easy, but I was mistaken. Please let me know how the issue above will be resolved. Thank you in advance for your help.
