I reserved this rental for 7/30/19 ifor a 9:30 am pick up. i picked it up at 9:45 am i wastold the truck was full of gas but when checked it was only filled 5/8 of the way. then i get a call at 3:30 pm telling me the truck was due back. is it not 24 hour rental how can i rent ti at 9:45 am and tiold to be back at 3:30 pm and they were gonna charge me for 2 days whtat kind of scam is uhaul running anymore. this is unacceptable.

Had to go here because the 1st location I went to was closed and the before hours pick up site wouldn't work. The guy told me that my debit card wouldn't work as a deposit and I needed 100$ deposit and had to use cash. I went 45 mins to my bank to get out money and got back and he said nevermind the debit card worked. He was very friendly though and I appreciated that after the 1st experience

The truck seemed to need steering alignment work. The steering wheel was badly off center and the truck "wandered" while driving. Constant steering adjustments were needed to keep it going straight. The truck smelled like cigarettes and was not particularly clean. That being said, I was able to get all my belongings moved without any major issues.

The truck I ordered (15ft) was not available and no one told me until I showed up. Luckily I had someone who was able to drive the larger 26ft truck or else I would have been screwed. The staff were not the friendliest but they at least didn't charge me extra for getting the bigger truck.

I had a truck reserved for 1 month. They called me the day before to ask what time I wanted to pick it up. The next day I was on my way to get the truck and they called to tell me they did not have one. I had to drive 1hr and 10min to Ohio to get a truck. I was not able to load all my things because the movers didn’t have enough time. I now have to rent a second truck to move all my things. Not happy at all. Erie was the problem not OHIO location.

Explain exactly what the paperwork says to the customer. Because most people that rent a uhaul are moving and have a lot on their minds and usually don't have time to read everything in the paperwork.

The employee that attached the dolly to my truck didn't seem to know what he was doing. He wrapped the light plug extension so tight it pulled the adapter out of the socket on my way home because I could not turn. I could have prevented this but assumed he knew what he was doing so didn't double check.
