Driver and passenger door didn't close all the way and we constantly felt like the doors were going to fly open and we would fall out. There were no Dollie's like I had requested. When I got back to returning the equipment there were 3 LAPD Detectives inside looking through the store. Not safe at all. Would not go back.

Everything was as it should be - easy check-in, Van was clean with low miles and the return was simple to a station was still open. Nothing to improve or change.

The only issue: The driver's door would not close easily. It would close, but not air-tight. I had to REALLY BANG it close, and then it would close properly. Otherwise all good.

The U-Haul app is terrible. Very glitchy at best. The only way I could return the vehicle using the app was to mark that everything was ok when in fact it wasn't. Check in and out were a bit of a hassle. The location, which is all this survey is about is really not what you need to know. It's about your faulty equipment and lousy app. Again, wrong thing for U-Haul to focus on.

The rating here is less about the end individual location and more about U-Haul in general. When we got there, we had ordered some moving pads and the people who work there told us that they've been telling U-Haul for a long time to take those off of the options to order because they don't have them. They also didn't have the dolly that we ordered. They said they've never had them, but U-Haul refuses to remove it from the options for booking at that location. The actual pick up process was kind of a pain as well, as it took us about 20 minutes to get through their automated "easy app" in order to get the truck. The people at the location were nice, but had to deal with poor processes from U-Haul. Other than that everything went as planned.

I’m not sure how the Gas used on the van I rented is measured but no one check the amount of Gas in the vehicle when I picked it up and I left it with more Gas than it had when I rented it and took photos and videos to make sure that I am not charged for Gas.

The truck had a small exhaust leak in the cab, and the plastic "seal" for the hand-truck was missing (I had my own hand-truck, and never used the one provided with the rental).

U-Haul's online reservation system should include only equipment that is actually available. In addition to the van, I also reserved a dolly. However, there no dolly was available at that pick up location. Had I known that ahead of time I could have gotten another one, but instead had to make do without one at all.

No orientation to the truck was offered to me. It was only because I had a friend drop me off for the pick up that I was able to TURN ON THE IGNITION, find the emergency brake, or figure out how to open the back of the truck. Your locations should not assume that anyone who drives a newer car with no truck experience will know these things.

Not recommend, no equipment there. Please be aware of gas level, they will charge you additional fuel even you are driving 1 mile. Not responding in emails properly. Very bad experience with this booking.

The van smelled like pet odor and mold. I returned the car with a full tank but they charged me 10$ again. I would recommend putting this location and their staff on notice for fraudulent activities!! Regards

Filthy truck, full of cigarettes and then when I returned the truck you charged ME the cleaning fee. Truck gas was also on empty, not 1/4 tank like you said. I filled up the gas.

the person working there showed up 45 mins late. It was still before my official appointment but never met a more rude person. He wouldn't look me in the face when I asked questions. And when you wear a mask that is very important. The gas was written wrong on the slip but I filled up to them spot mentioned just to avoid your rude emails employee. I felt like he would grab my credit card out of my hand. I felt he was looking for a comfrontation. Obviously the trucks drive like a truck but inam not sure how wow the trucks are maintained. Sounds like there may been transmission issues. Either way - didn't mention to your rude employee. I felt like he wanted an excuse to fight. I will never use this site again because of him. Well maintained car, but not clean - left over trash from previous renter left behind as well and just plain dirty :/ The gentlemen that helped check me in/out were very pleasant though, did a great job :)

The check in process was LONG and tedious. It doesn't seem that U-Haul is really ready for Digital. However, if you encourage clients to upload their ID and most everything BEFORE they arrive, that would be helpful.

The return experience was awful. The associate was rude and disrespectful upon my return of the vehicle. He did not offer a receipt for the return and told me I would get an email later with the final charges. He then put down that I returned the vehicle with less gas than I drove away with which was dishonest. The fact that he didn't want to give me a receipt for returning the vehicle was completely unacceptable. Furthermore, when I walked back into the store (no other customers were present, he told I would have to wait). He was a complete jerk. I also put more gas in than what I drove away with! and told him I would report this. I am very disappointed and upset with my experience at this location. Horrible customer service experience. I will never do business there again.

Most things went well. My vehicle was ready on time. The customer service representative was friendly and efficient. The issue was that in addition to reserving the cargo van, I reserved furniture pads and a furniture dolly in advance. When I arrived, the customer service representative said the pads and dolly were not available. The whole purpose of renting the van was to move furniture that was too heavy to move without a dolly. I should have been notified before picking up the vehicle that these items, although reserved well in advance, would not be available. For that reason, I cannot refer you to a friend or give a sufficient rating.

The truck either needs to be salvaged or repaired. The exhaust leak into the cab is pretty bad. The drift shaft needs to be replaced and the engine does not shift properly.

I had asked for a Dolly & few Mats, paid for them in advance but the location did not have those. They did reimburse me the money but not having the items pre booked 1 week in advance threw my plans out of order. Make sure to have the products pre booked at the locations serving the U-Haul Service.

The app system did not seem to be working, the person at the location gave me the starting mileage and gas tank levels so that I could check. she asked me to advise her of any damage that I thought exceeded what she told me. I just left with van, just parked the van at the end of the day. Today, I received the invoice statement in early am, and all seemed as originally anticipated. My mileage useage was higher than anticipated, but the invoice was set up correctly. Merci.

There was a mess inside the vehicle. The dashboard was all sticky because of soda spills. Also, the worst thing was the deep smell of smoke. Nothing was cleaned before my rental.
