Susan MontgomeryCustomer service at Total Eclipse Auto Detailing is beyond excellent! I have rented twice within the past week and have another upcoming rental for next weekend. My only complaint is not with Total Eclipse, but U-Haul themselves. U-Haul needs to provide Total Eclipse with either a pick-up truck or another cargo van to add to their inventory. I don't want to travel anywhere else and these vehicles have not been available during my first choice times.

Brian KellyOverall the experience was terrible. I reserved a cargo van and when I arrived, I could not use the website to access the keys. I called the owner of the location and after almost 30 minutes, he told me that a u-haul rep would call me and that there was a mistake on u-haul's end. After another 10 minutes, I received a call from a u-haul rep in Brunswick and he apologized and said that it was the fault of the location owner because they had decided put the cargo van up for sale and did not inform anybody. Why the owner did not tell me this, I am I unsure. The rep then informed me that he could rent me a 15ft truck for the same price. I explained that I did not need a vehicle that big and there was a smaller truck on the premises. He insisted on the larger and told me the tank was 5/8 full and he could authorize me to return the truck with a 1/2 tank. Saving me a whopping 1/8 of tank which was $7. When I received my receipt via email, I noticed there was a $14 charge for some kind of insurance that I never had on my original reservation and was not informed of or asked about or agreed to when it got switched for the large truck. Also, there is now a separate charge from u-haul on my account for $1,58 with no explanation. The whole experience was terrible and neither u-haul or the location owner would take responsibility. I would like a full refund and will be calling if this does not happen.

JEREMY CRISMANThe van had no owners manual/handbook in it so figuring out controls was impossible, and trying to link my phone to the van was impossible too. Could not even reset the clock to the right time. No USB plug in the dashboard ? Terrible annoyance. Van ergonomics very poor, I'd never rent one again--very uncomfortable to drive 1500+ miles. Design of tie downs on floor was very poorly thought out,and no tie downs on the sidewall bars was equally dumb.
PAUL ACKERMANLocal location needs to keep corporate office updated on promise rental. I was double booked. I had a lease agreement for a return date set by corporate office. The State of Maine U-Haul manger call me and said that that the corporate office had made a mistake and that I had to return rental or he would report it stolen and have me arrested. He was a bully and very disrespectful. I told him I had an agreement from the corporate office and return per their agreement and not his. After he found out that I was not going to back down he hung up. I returned vehicle as agreement said with no problems. Be aware of this man. I take it personally when someone tries to bully me. This man should be fired. He caused me a lot of mental pain.

I have rented from a different uhaul in Oxford previously with just the opposite type of service and will only use this location going forward. Thank you so much for having this spot in Oxford Hills! It stinks to have to go to auburn to rent a truck and pay the extra mileage for just moving in this area!
