The main issue was that the location I had chosen originally did not exist anymore but had not been removed from the website. I called customer Service and was sent to another site. I was closed. I called again and was sent to another site. That one was also closed. Took me an hour to try and return a rental truck. I finally called and asked if I can drop it off at a 24 drop off site.

Got moved there the day before when called to see what was going on with the rental I was referred to the 800 number. The next morning it was an additional 30 min drive to the location and called to confirm with no answer. Got there and no body was there.. I called the number on the door and got someone I thAt I couldn’t understand because I was on speakerphone got disconnected/hung up on got a phone call back from general manager about 10 min later. Owner must have had an emergency? Would have been nice to know.

I have three major issues: 1) I asked that the credit card used would be the one I handed to them, it instead went on the debit card that I used for reserving the truck and trailer. This caused several overdraft fees of about $200 to be made on my debit card. 2) The trailer was an extra 100 miles from the truck pickup location and although the drop off location compensated some, it did not cover the extra expenses of gas, time, and going over my alloted miles. 3) While the trailer tire may have had air when I picked it up, by the time I reached my destination the rear passenger tire was flat due to a nail in the tire. (I am doubtful I picked up the nail on the drive to my destination, I think it was there the whole time with a small leak.) This caused an unexpected extra expense of fuel to be used and excess mileage. Another note: I tried to call customer service to talk to someone about these issues and could not reach anyone. Please call me to help resolve these issues. I might not use, or recommend uhaul in the future due to these issues.

I reserved a car dolly Friday, Dec 1 in the evening. I traveled through the night, from St Paul, MN arriving in Yorkville IL at 9:30 am, Dec 2. I called the U-Haul dealer in Sandwich, IL at 9:30 am Saturday morning to confirm the car dolly, but I had to leave a phone message. Upon arriving at the The U-haul location in Sandwich, IL at 11:30 am, I found the business unattended, when I arrived to pick up the car dolly I had reserved. I once again called and left a voice message. The call was returned 15 minutes later. I waited for over an hour to pick up the car dolly I rented. Returning my call at 9:30 am would have eliminated my waiting to pickup the car dolly!
