Every experience I ever have with uhaul is a negative experience. The only reason I ever rent from you is because there are no other options in Swift Current. When we lived in 2014, I requested a 26' truck. They called to confirm it beforehand. Then, it wasn't there when I went to pick it up. I had to use a small truck and make more than one trip. Then, in 2017, we reserved a truck to help our church move. They called to confirm it. When I arrived to get it on move day, there was no truck at all! We had to use everyone's personal vehicles and make several trips to move. We received a ridiculous $50 as compensation. Now, this last Sunday, I reserved a 26' truck, a furniture dolly, a utility dolly and 3 dozen blankets. When I arrived to check in online, I had to wait 30 MINUTES for my ID to be confirmed. I just sat there doing nothing while I should be loading the truck. Then, when I finally got the confirmation and opened the truck, NONE of the extra equipment was inside. NONE OF IT. I had to bother the Esso staff to help me because UHaul had NO STAFF IN THE CITY for them to contact. I arrived to pick it up at 6:00 am and only left the station at nearly 8:00 am after getting Esso staff (not your employees) to fix uhaul's mess up. I can not believe the level of incompetence at uhaul. I truly believe uhaul is the planet's worst managed company with the worst customer service. Thankfully, I have moved to a bigger city now where there are more options and I don't care if it costs me 5x more, I will never use uhaul again and I was take every opportunity I get to tell everyone never to rent from you. What can you do to improve? Sell out to a more reliable competitor.

Gentleman who helped us return the truck was friendly. He looked at the truck while we were there. We ask if everything was good and he said yes; however, apparently it was not because we were charged $25 for cleaning, even though we cleaned the back of the truck out as directed by UHaul. I replied to the invoice that was sent to us regarding the cleaning fee, but no one replied. Not impressed.

I was told I could drop off the trailer but wasn't told anyone would meet me. I parked it in the location I was instructed too but then a fellow came out and asked how he was supposed to check inside when I had parked where a water puddle was. I offered to pull the trailer out but he declined and seemed very annoyed I had parked where I had. I found his attitude somewhat unprofessional. However this was the end of a very frustrating relationship with U Haul over the last several days. Thank goodness I am done with it and I will never return to any business dealings with U Haul.

The staff were pleasant and friendly. However, the trailer I was assigned had a flat tire, which was only noticed after hooking up the trailer. A simple recommendation would for the equipment be inspected prior customers arrival.

Our big issue was that the cab smelled like pot, also the inside was not disinfected like your web site says. The lady said she didn't have time nor the employees to do it. She also said that none of the other trucks were done either. There was a package of sugar/salt spilled on the dash and a half bottle of water left inside our rental on the passenger seat when we picked it up. All of this carelessness could have possibly left us with the covid-19 virus!! We were not impressed!!

Originally two months ago, i had reserved a 15 foot truck so it had the ramps but uHaul sent me an email five days prior to pick up that the 15 foot wasn't available and I'd have to choose something else. I explained why I needed the 15 foot and they said “sorry this doesn't have a ramp but it's all we have so I had to take it. On the move day, the “find my truck” app didn't work and customer service wasn't super helpful. The uHaul office at the gas station was closed on the weekends in Swift and the attendant at the gas station initially said he had nothing to do with uHaul but once a manager from uhaul spoke to him on the phone he went into the uHaul office and got our keys and contract. Not sure why he didn't do that half an hour before when we explained the issues we were having with the app. On dropping off I had filled the tank and it was only to have under 3/4 in it but uHaul ended up charging me for 6 miles ($7.40) over the allotted distance as well as charged me on my Visa an additional $14.45 but wasn't able to explain what this charge was for. Overall a very frustrating and disappointing experience with uHaul.

Only one guy to do all the rentals so it can get a lineup. But he is fast and efficient and this is Swift Current so chill out and enjoy the wait.

The truck we rented was very new and worked great BUT was not able to be hooked up to the auto dolly we had rented due to electrical failure. The Uhaul dealer was willing to try an upgraded trailer but it also did not work, which meant it was the truck that was at fault. This resulted in us having to drive an extra 10 or so hours with another driver in our personal vehicle due to the dolly/trailer could not be hooked up. That was frustrating and very inconvenient.

My reservation for a car hauler was messed up by Uhaul 2 days in a row after reserving it over a week earlier. I had to drive 3 hrs each way to Swift Current and back on my own time and gas to pick up the closest unit. No apologies by the Regina Park Street location and no explanation as to why my car hauler was not available. The customer service was poor and the trailer mechanic was rude to me. No discount after all my troubles and nobody at Uhaul cared. I will never rent from Uhaul again!!

N9thing, very friendly and helpful. He did all the work with the hookup all I did was check the lights. This person only looked after the Uhaul so he was very helpful.

The young man that helped me wasn't a UHaul employee. He was great!! My complaint is that when I went online to rent a trailer it said there was no trailers available there. And wanted me to go way out of my way to pick one up. When I drove past there I noticed at least 15 trailers on the lot.

i arrived after hours, there was supposed to be a way to check in with my phone. The clerk in the gas station told me no keys were available for the trucks. ie no lock box outside or on the back of the trucks. i had to call the manager for the region who was very helpful but delayed our pick up considerably. the keys were available in a locked office which the clerk had access to.

I dropped off the trailer on a Saturday & was surprised to find a company rep. there to verify the return of the trailer Found the drop-off location easily, guided by the address info. provided when I picked up the trailer Lots of u-haul trailers on-site so I knew I had the right place. Lot was muddy with water lying in area where trailers are stored

I found the person in charge of the U-Haul trailers to be rude and I felt that I was wasting his time when picking up the trailer. He made it very well known that he hated the job, and didn't want to be of much assistance. There were problems with the debit machine and I ended up having to wait 45 minutes in the office. This was an inconvenience to me because I scheduled the trailer for a 9:00am pickup, and wasn't able to leave until almost 9:45am. The first trailer I picked up had problems with the sliding door. It was very cold when I rented the trailer, and I told him that the door was frozen. He didn't believe me. I ended up hurting my back. Ultimately I took the first trailer back, and got a different trailer with hinged doors. This one worked much better. I do not think I will rent again from this dealer.

I was utterly disappointed with this location in Swift Current. We reserved a uhaul, and 2 Dolly's for moving. When we got there, there was no truck reserved for us. It took 1.5 hours to figure out how to get us a truck, thanks to the regional manager. We were told we would receive the $50 credit because uhaul has a $50 reservation guarantee, and our reservation was not there, and now I'm being charged for the truck with no credit issued. Once we finally got the go ahead to go back to the uhaul location to pick up a truck a Dolly's, there were no Dolly's for us, and we got a 10' truck instead of a 26' truck. We were charged extra for the extra miles we put in (2 extra miles) when we had to drive out there TWICE just to get the truck to begin with. I will not be using uhaul again
