The person told me to disconnect the trailer and leave it in the driveway. He would get a tractor later and move it. He never left his desk when I was there.

Have someone there to do their job. We had to hook up and check the tires ourselves. When we got on the road we had a flat and returned to uhaul location for a tire where we were told we had to wait to have tire brought from another location. If I were you I would give me a refund.

This seems like a side job for them to make extra money. Had to call and wait on them to pick up vehicle because they forgot we were picking it up. We returned the vehicle and still have not received the money due us after the deposit. Which is approximately 30 dollars.

I was told that if I returned the trailer in one day that I would be refunded 1/2 the price of the insurance which is $8.00. I picked up the trailer on Nov 27th at 10 AM and delivered the trailer that evening to Tri Lakes Recreation. The lady (Vicky) was not at the location when I dropped it off. I spoke with her by phone and she instructed me where to put the trailer. She said she would check it in the following day. To my knowledge, I did not receive a refund of $8.00 on my credit card.

Their Internet system was down and had to use a hotspot. Took a half an hour and I left without a contract. They complain about U-Haul changing systems and no jacks on the trailers. They told me to hook it up and I couldn't lift it. A gentleman working on the boat came and did it for the lady. Besides bad service, A Dirty and poorly run business

It took 2 hours on the phone with customer assistance to get our trailer. The gentleman who worked there didn't understand how to use the computer program (apparently no one at uhaul does, not even the 4 different people we spoke to on the phone) and we had to suggest to him what to type into the boxes several times--before the program completely locked up. Everyone we worked with was as helpful and courteous as they were capable of, but the horrendous program Uhaul uses made this process even more of a nightmare. I rated this location so low, not because of the program issues, but because of the unprofessionalism of the store. The guy was 45 minutes late, his muddy dogs jumped on us as soon as we stepped out of the truck, they chased our vehicle when we left, running in front of the truck several times. I was genuinely afraid I was going to hit one of them... Also, there was nowhere to sit(hardly anywhere to stand) for the 2 hours we spent on the phone. It's basically a tiny shed attached to a garage. TL:DR it's tiny, it's dirty, the guy doesn't know computers, the uhaul program is a hot mess, there are dogs running around unrestrained, no one at uhaul actually knows how to use the program

Find someone that can use a computer, is capable of connecting the trailer, and isn't scared of stepping in the mud, and a shop that isn't so filthy that there was no clean place to sit or stand. This guy stumbled around the computer like he had never seen one. I had to "suggest" to him what to click on in the subpar app/webpage uHaul forces everyone to use. He said he couldn't help with connecting the trailer because it was muddy and his back hurt. My shoulder is scheduled for surgery in two weeks, but I was forced to connect the trailer to my truck myself with zero assistance during a rain storm. The trailers' light connector was damaged so i had to repair to make it work. Not a very good uHaul experience at all. Had I not needed the trailer so badly, I would have gone anywhere else. You guys need to pay me for having to do ALL of the work to rent your trailer.

This location was great. However I do not have any thing good to say about the location on Hwy 49 in Mt Pleasant Tx. I cant remember the name , some tire shop. I went by the tire shop a week before I actually needed the truck to move my granddaughter to her new job after graduating form Texas A& M. The owner, told me I needed to make a reservation. So I gave him my information and credit card to guarantee a trk. I needed at least a 15 foot. The tire co didn't have any available but according to the owner, that's what the reservation does, it gets one available for you on the day you need it. I received no paper work or confirmation number of my reservation, owner just said I was in computer, and that U Haul would call me a day before the actual day I needed and confirm reservation, owner told me that U haul would tell me where I could pick up equipment, which didn't make any sense, I came to his place of business to rent. I drove by the tire place a day before the day I needed trk and I saw one sitting on lot. I stopped and talked to owner and talked to him, I ask him if that was my trk I was to pick up the next day and he said yes.I told him u haul had not called to confirm ,but you would think that since the Guy you had rented it from would know all about it. I told him I would see him at 4 PM as we discussed to pick it up. I was there at 4 Pm to pick up. He told me I didn't have a reservation and I was not in the computer. I discussed this with him and advised I saw him enter it and I even gave him a Credit Card to guarantee but he denied I had a reservation. I even advised him of our conversation the day before, and he denied that also and that he didn't tell me the trk on the lot was reserved for me. I left very upset and went to another dealer in town. That dealer was very nice, but all his trks were rented. He got on the phone and called around and found me a trk. Which is the one I finally rented. While I was in the office of the second dealer on Hwy 67 , someone I knew came in needing a trk also. He advised he also had went into tire dealer on Hwy 49 to rent a trk. The tire company owner had one trk on lot and the renter ask him about it. He was advised by the tire shop owner told him it was to be picked up Saturday morning at 8 am and was rented for a week. Take in mind ,that this was the truck I only needed for one day and was to be a drop off, and all of a sudden I didnt have a reservation in computer. I guess a weeks rental is so much better than a one day rental, I don't know if that is what happened , but smells like a rat to me. When I went to pick up trk at new dealer , she punched my name and phone number in computer...and my reservation popped up. Now isn't that funny, its not in the tire shops computer. I have heard a lot of complaints about this tire shop U Haul dealer, after I had told a few friends about what happened, it seems there are always problems with this location. The address is listed in mount pleasant and the location is in Blodgett which is a few miles,away. This needs to be corrected immediately. The office is a boat repair shop and it looks like one. The owner was friendly I guess it's what you should expect in a rural location.

The address of "Mount Pleasant" is incorrect. The rental location is in Winfield, TX, and listing it as such would make it far easier to locate.

The couple who runs Tri-Lakes Recreation was very patient and accommodating when I needed to postpone my rental a day and then even stayed late the next day so I could pick up the trailer. The only problem that I had was that Dallas Traffic kept giving Tr-Lakes the equipment number for a trailer they didn't have and wouldn't take the equipment number for the trailer that Tri-Lakes had that met my needs. Eventually (after over an hour) Dallas Traffic relented and transferred in the trailer that was sitting on Tri-Lakes lot the whole time so I could rent it.

The best part of this recent rental was the man that helped us at this location. He was friendly and honest. As for the UHaul side of it, when I make a reservation, I expect you to have the truck where I request it and not send it off to someone else.

This is my third rentl from Uhaul since January and each time the experience gets worse. This time was the pits and yet each time I fill out a survey, nothing happens. I don't hear from anybody and the service not only doesn't improve but actually get gets worse. At some point it seems Uhaul would care about what their customers think. 409-770-7504
