I booked 4 wks ahead at a closer branch to my house (4kms away) but on the day could only get one 40 kms away causing extra hour of driving. Did online check-in to save time and system issues at Triple J caused me to start all over again manually taking 45 mins. Very friendly staff but didn't have time to waste staring my trip.

Don Gregan was very helpful, and made sure all went smoothly with pick up of vehicle. There was a lot of confusion actually initiating the contract, due to computer problems, but the terrific help when we called the toll free number enabled us to complete transaction.

Truck smelled like cigarette smoke Truck was 1/4 tank full when I got it I had to show the agent how to run his computer just to speed things up. It took 20 minutes to be out the door and I had checked-in prior The "store" is the guy's kitchen

I reserved pick up at a different location. I was told the day before I would have to pick up at a different location. This was a great inconvenience, not happy with this process, call center was not sympathetic to my situation and offered no incentive for me to use this service again.

Initially we were supposed to pick up our vehicle at this location. The dealer (a man in his late 80's) rambled for close to 20 minutes and claimed he never received our reservation even though we could clearly see it on his computer screen. We were made to drive an hour away to pick up a truck that was 3 times larger than what we needed, Pay 3-4x the amount of gas we would have spent if our truck was available at the location we had ordered it from. Customer service was horrible. After dropping off our truck the Dealer continued to ramble and tell my husband how rude I was because I called Uhaul to complain that we had no truck. To add insult to injury we were told by the CSA that we spoke to at Uhaul that we would be compensated for our time, Kms and Extra gas which wasn't applied. I was contacted by Gary Sparks (a manager, apparently) who sent me a 2 sentence email saying that we were compensated and telling me I was entitled to no further refund. When I replied to the email asking for a breakdown of the discounts he ignored my reply. This is now a month later and I have heard nothing. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with my experience with Uhaul.

I am very unpleased with my experience with my reservation of a 20' truck for Bathurst, NB. I was redirected to Charlo, which is 55kms away, and had to pay for the mileage and gas. There was a 26' truck at the Bathurst location that you could have easily rented to me at the same rate as a 20', which would have been the good customer relations thing to do. I'm 81 yrs old and on a fixed income and this extra expense above the rest of my move expense was very difficult. I will not recommend your company to family & friends who move in the future but suggest to use a locally owned company. Denise, daughter of the person who actually moved

La personne savait à peine faire fonctionner un ordinateur. J'ai passé 1 hre avant que la personne puisse compléter mon contrat et de plus elle a imprimé cela sur l'endos de feuilles qui avaient servi pour autre chose (publicité pour une soirée bingo, document expliquant les effets secondaires concernant un certain médicament avec le nom du patient etc,,,n'importe quoi. Rien de professionnel.

Older couple took care of returning my trailer. Was trying to discuss rental with wife who was entering info into computer. Had husband yammering in my ear, oblivious to conversation I was trying to have with his wife. Had my 3 year old with me and their dog was growling and showing teeth at my son. Felt very uncomfortable. Trying to be polite but very nervous about my son getting bitten. Husband told me where he wanted trailer parked. Was in between two other trailers. I had to back in blind-sided. Relied on husband to give me directions and he waved me back, right into parked trailer. "I didn't see, thought you had room.." *facepalm*

Make sure when a customer books a truck it is available on the date and the location that it was booked for. I had to wait for my truck and if i didn't want to wait for it then i would have had to drive an hour away to pick it up. Uhaul company needs to be more oraganized when it comes to their vehicles, this comment is not directed that this specific location as this person was very helpful and friendly and the only positive part of this whole situation

We had to go to this location which was 2 1/2 hour drive away from where we live. We were contacted the morning of pick up, not the day before to let us know we couldn't get a trailer at the location we wanted. We were originally told the closest trailer was in PEI. We live in NB. Customer service line could only give us a $50 credit for our trouble which was never applied to our contract. Very poor service.

The drop off operator , Mr Gregan was excellent. My problem is with your Dartmouth pickup location. The Windmill Rd and the Call Ctr originally directed me to Campbellton NB. This site is closed . When I ended up in Charlo with Mr Gregan, I saw another dissatisfied customer from Moncton NB who was given the Campbellton drop off. He was not happy with your service. Thank heavens you have someone like Mr Gregan to handle you errors. Too bad I paid for miles I never used... i.e. Charlo was 30 KMS shorter haul and would cost less.Why did your company tell me Campbellton was the closest point to my destination when there was a dealer right in the town I was travelling to. I will phone your Dartmouth location and inform them of their error, if I can get thru in a reasonable period of time. If I get the Arizona ctr, I suspect my complaint will get lost in the shuffle. Lastly, I know you were very busy on the Labour Day weekend , but you should be adequately staffed with competent people. Also, I found your Windmill Rd Dartmouth people to be friendly excepting their booking me to Cambellton and the excessive waiting time. On a final note, I previously booked a 26 ft unit from Dartmouth to Charlo in July. Why did you charge me for a Campbellton drop off when you had a dealer 3 kms from my final destination place ( Campbellton dealer since closed). You are blessed to have a product which is in heavy demand, but the poor support levels will come back and haunt you in the future.

My worst experience ever. I reserved a 14 foot truck 3 to 4 weeks in advance, called 4 times to confirm from reserve time to 2 days before pickup. Ensured all ok, but still didn't know where I was picking it up. The morning before pickup and after the my relatives already left on the 4 hour drive to come help me, I get a call that says they don't have a 14 ft truck can give me a 10 ft and something to pull behind. Not everyone is comfortable in pulling something behind. So, I have to put stuff in storage because the truck is not big enough to load it all and get another truck by someone else to get the rest there. Just about got stuck in the drive way to pick up the keys because I could not pick up the keys the morning (Saturday) because she would be at work and her husband is gone till Monday. Takes forever to get paper work done, tires are not even winter tires, don't know if the truck has been maintain or oil is checked, first time I ever picked up a moving van including Uhaul with a quarter tank of gas, normally its full and I fill it before returning. Call place back to confirm picking up keys Friday night, someone answers I have no idea what they said, first they were the daughter, then the son so not sure if girl or boy and not sure if message got through for pickup. No problems to call and reserve a truck and I made sure to ask that I definely would get a 14 foot and oh yes I am told I would, no one said there are no guarantees or I would of tried some where else. Oh, and I ask the lady about why and when a 14ft truck would be in (where I picked it up) they don't ever have a 14 ft, they have 10 and 26. So why not tell me that at beginning. Now I can drive a 14 Ft but I would not even attempt a 26ft, again we order the size we can load and drive why not be honest at beginning. I was very very disappointed, disgusted and fed up with the whole uhaul experience
