the gas tank was left under 1/8th of tank. The lady set it at 1/4. She told me she would reimburse me when I returned it as I needed to stop twice to fill it to the same level. No reimbursement was given. I also had to check the back of truck which was parked on the street 2 blocks away to make sure the dolly was in it. It was not and after loading up in to the truck I had to return to the u hall company to get the dolly. Very unprofessional and inconvenient. I received no itemized record of my bill.

EQUIPMENT: The truck was fairly old, I guess that's ok. The only thing that I hated was that the side mirrors were protruding too much. OTHER ASPECTS: drop off was very complicated, this location closed early ( I tried to return the U-Haul at 4:15) It was really hard to find parking... after calling Uhaul I had to return it to a different location, that information was never shared among parties. I will not recommend this location.

Customers parking is non existant. Had to find a spot somewhere on the street. Crowded, meaning not enough space even. I had reserved an appliance dolly, upon reception of my contract all the dollies were gone, so no dolly for me that day.

Was not informed the truck did not have a ramp, was not informed that the truck was not tall enough to fit my standard refrigerator when I explicitly told the owner of the business I was moving a standard fridge plus boxes and a bed... owner did not recommend the correct vehicle or the correct equipment for the move. I am not happy at all. I’ve never had this problem with Uhaul in the 16 years I’ve been renting U-Haul trucks.

You overbooked. You didn’t have a truck available for me even though I had a reservation. I had to use a van, which was not really sufficient for the job at hand. Office attendant was nice, but unprepared for an overbook scenario. Manager did not offer me anything to remedy the booking mistake. I booked online through uhaul, not a third party. My reservation was not honored.

Businesses are expected to be open during business hours. Unfortunately upon return the truck, this location was closed at approximately 4:15, when business hours are posted online till 5pm.

Uhaul’s customer service and reliability are horrible. I have never had such a bad experience with any other company as yours. I have tried to speak to someone to make a formal complaint but no one wants to listen. I get told to call various numbers and no one has called me back. Your company’s lack of professionalism and reliability are unreal. I would like for someone to call me back at 323-270-9688 to make a formal complaint about many things.

Not the best experience. It was a holiday weekend and I was scheduled to pick up truck on Friday and carrier on Saturday. I had my movers scheduled for 10-1 on Saturday. Uhaul man said I had till 2pm because it was a holiday weekend and that he did not have any other rentals. I barely made it by 2pm on Saturday. Then we had to load carrier while on busy street. With the carrier we ended up having to get air in tire while on road and that same tire blew out and off while on freeway in Bakersfield. That cause me to to be stuck with my family including my 75 year old mother, 3 year old daughter and 5 month old son. This was a major inconvenience and a safety concern and I am requesting either a refund or major discount.

This was Memorial Day weekend and I was scheduled to load my truck on Saturday so I was planning to come back for carrier on Saturday after 3. The man who owns/runs the place said I had to be back by 2 because he had no other rentals and it was a holiday weekend. And my movers were scheduled for 10-1pm and they were late which meant we were rushing to get to uhaul by 2. The truck was shaking and we did not know why only to witness a tire from the carrier blowing off the carrier into traffic on the freeway.

Insurance on the rental was not clear as stated in "one time charge" when it was not a one time fee, and gasoline was charged when the car was refueled at exact level.
